My fiancée and I took this tour. We learned so much about the history of Peru. Yoced was very knowledgeable. It was nice to have a guide who was very personable and honest. Most of the time tours are boring and dull, but Yoced made this tour to be one of our top tours. We feel we got more than we paid for and enjoyed exploring Lima with Yoced. This is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon in historic downtown Lima. Went with the wife and lucked out with a private tour! Our guide, Yoced was delightfully conversational, mischievously amusing, and extremely informative. He had the wonderful quality of keeping us filled in on our surroundings, pointing out key landmarks, and also giving us space to explore on our own. We took the tour the day after the president’s manor had been raided by the district attorney because of some dubious Rolexes, and it was exciting and enlightening to discuss current events with our guide and learn more about recent as well as more distant Peruvian political history. The catacombs tour was a highlight, but just because it’s so crazy what a denomination will decide to do with an ocean of human bones.

Amazing tour! Our tour guide, Yosef,went beyond showing us the magnificent buildings and historic events but also sharing with my family his culture. In every intervention he engaged our kids making a very interactive and fun learning experience for our family. We could feel his love for his job and pride for his heritage.

Today we had an awesome experience on our tour with our guide Yoced. He really knows how to tell about peruvian history that it is interesting and memorable. We learned a lot about the Inca, the spanish conqueres and the different wars Peru had been fighting in. The catacombs and the buildings in the historic center were awesome and really put Lima in a new perspective for us.

It was a truly incredible experience. We came on our first day in Lima, and it was such a great way to get to know the city and its history and culture. Our guide (Yoced) was so insightful, and gave us recommendations for the rest of our trip. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone visiting the city

The Tour with Yoced was very interesting and informative and covered big parts of the Peruvian history from the Inka period until it‘s modern history. Next to this he shared a lot of his personal knowledge about Lima to make it a very good experience.

We had an amazing time with Joseph. He met us right where he said he would and toured us through the historical district, cathedrals and catacombs. He had lots of information and it was really nice just having my wife and I as his only people. Going through the cathedral and looking at groups of 20 or more I don’t think it would have been as personal. Thanks again Joseph !!!

My experience with the Lima City Tour, including a visit to the Catacombs, was nothing short of exceptional. This was one of the most interesting walking tours I have done. Lima is an amazing city with lots of culture history, and there is no better way to know it than with the help of the locals. Lima City Tour with Catacombs by Lima Experience, gave us a walkthrough the historical part of Lima, while they explain you all the history of the city since the preinca comunities up to now. This was a so good experience that my girlfriend and I wanted to do more tours with them but our trip was over.

After changing a tour due to some unexpected circumstances, I was treated to a story about the history of Peru in the main square before being taken on an informative walk through the city and different sites. Alex did a really good job.
