Terrific trip. Very accommodating. I want sure I'd be able to make it, but they took care of everything. A lifetime experience.

We did the Lares Trek to Macchu Picchu 4 days with TreXperience and it was an amazing experience. During the hike the emphasize was given on enjoying the time with no time pressure on reaching a given point, which allowed us to enjoy the views. Manolo also took the time to tell us a lot about the history of Peru and of the trek we walked specifically. The food was plentiful and awesome for every meal, thanks again Orlando! The preparation was smooth and simple. Thanks to the TreXperience team!

What an incredible trip we’ve enjoyed with Manolo and the team at Trexperience! From the delicious meals, the organised daily schedules with wake times, breaks and even happy hour, to the truly fantastic views, I can say it was a once in a lifetime trip. We loved the trek itself - we felt there was enough time to stop, have breaks and enjoy the scenery while Manolo took us through the history and geographical stories of the area. Worth every penny!!

The tour from Trexperience was brilliant - truly a locally run company with a real passion for providing a tour worthy of the location. Our tour guide Manolo had huge amounts of knowledge, historical information from the native Quechua people, and was always positive in energy and spirit. He provided a genuine experience that couldn’t be matched. The trek was great, the food was superb, and everything ran seamlessly. Would recommend.

I went on the 4 day Lares Trek --> Machu Picchu trek by myself, and had a great time with the group. I'm really glad I did the Lares trek instead of Inca or Salkantay Trail because of how few other tourists were on the trek -- it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. Our guides Vincente and Ernesto were incredibly thoughtful, helpful, interesting, knowledgable, fun, and kind, and they were what really made the trek great. One of my favorite parts of the trek was just talking with them, and hearing about all their experiences. The food was also unbelievably good, thanks to our chef Valentino and his team. I cannot believe how good of food they were able to prepare for us in a tent in the wilderness. On one of the days, they even baked us an entire cake for us.

The Lares track was more than excellent, not only because of the fact that we had a lot of great views apart from the big tourist masses. It was first and foremost excellent because of our guide Vicente and his assistant guide Ernesto as well as the chef Valentin and his team. The guides delivered all necessary information Information for and around the track in a very pointed, humorous, intelligent and friendly way. We always felt safe and well taken care of as well as we hab enough space for privacy. Furthermore Vincente and Ernesto took care of any problem in a very professional way. The chef Valentin surprised us with the best local food we could think of for every breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The whole trip was a success and we can recommend the tour more than a 100%. We (Marina, Alex and Thomas) took a trek from Lares to Machu Picchu with Filio. Ist was simply amazing. Everything was perfectly organized and the whole staff was always friendly and did an excellent work. The trek in itself is gorgeous, and even if the second day with the Condor Pass was challenging, I recommend it! An amazing experience which leaves you wanting more… but most of all our guide Filio was the best guide you could ever wish. His knowledge about nature and culture (Machu Picchu) is stunning, and he always adjusts to your needs. In fhe most difficult parts of the trek he never puts pressure on you and always gives you the right motivation. We were a little family for four days and we sure will miss him. It’s not the first tour we take, but he sure was the best guide we had until now.

We had booked the luxury Lares and Short Inca trek. We had already high expectations but our expectatipns were more than exceeded. The whole team was just phenomenal. Starting with the chef Amilcar and his assistant Pescadito who did magic in the middle of the mountains by providing is with three course meals of Michelin star quality. Followed by the friendly porters and Santo the assistant and Shaman who made us always feel so special. To Esmeralda who have us the best massages of our lives after every hike. And last but not least our guide Sutta who exceeded in every possible way by organizing everything for us in the most professional way. And by everything I mean EVERYTHING! He even organized a room for me to relax in Machu Picchu Pueblo short notice as I wasn‘t feeling well and our hotel did not let us check in yet. Furthermore he knows everything about the nature, culture and history you are going to encounter on this trip. And you encounter A LOT. We really cannot put into worlds how amazing this trek was for us thanks to Trexperience and their incredible, most professional and friendly team!!!

We had a fabulous experience. Our guide Willian Elvis went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect trip. Any request we had he was able to accommodate, even when we made a change to the original plan. An unexpected highlight of the trip was the delicious food that was presented as if we were eating in a fine restaurant. Our chef, Amilcar was so talented and creative and he accommodated my gluten free, dairy free diet. I highly recommend this trip.

We had the best trip with Wilian Elvis! Someone in our group wasn’t feeling well and he was so accommodating and supportive to make sure everyone could finish. I would recommend the Lares trek to anyone because we only saw two other hikers during the entire trek and the views were spectacular. And every time we stopped for a meal, Amilcar and Felix whipped up delicious food. Everyone was so attentive and we had the best time. You should definitely use Treksperience!

We had a fantastic trip with TreXperience. Wilian Elvis was a 10/10 tour guide and was very knowledgeable about everything we saw. He had lots of stories to tell and also was fun to hang out with. He was extremely accommodating when we had to change parts of our trek. He worked quickly and made sure we knew all of our options. I would definitely do a trek with Wilian again. We also had some of the best food I have ever had while on a trip, all made by Amilcar. He was very kind and friendly and made us the most delicious variety of meals. He had us help him in preparing a traditional meal. Loved everything we ate. His sous chef, Felix, was also very helpful and fun to have around.

The guide Fillio welcomed us with opens arms, and was very helpful through our treck in the mountains. Very patient with a lot of positive sayings that motivated us. The chefs Ronaldo and Juvenal cooked us amazing, very tasty fancy food. The whole experience is something that I will remember for the rest of my life

Amazing time with our guide Filio! Fantastic views throughout the hike and amazing camp sites. The chef (Rolando) made some truly amazing foods, especially on the last day when they treated us to an amazing peruvian “barbecue” with pineapple, chicken, lamb and a lot of vegetables. They can accomodate for all types of diets. The hike was relatively easy as the only challenge was the height (4700m), but they were really accommodating with our needs and we decided how many stops to take on the way. A truly fantastic experience that I would love to repeat!

We were on the Lares-Trek for 4 days and 3 nights with the company TreXperience. We had a fantastic experience, which more than exceeds our expectations. We are the only two, who booked the trek and the whole team treat us so lovely and kind. Our Team consist of our guide Filio, the first chef Sinchi, the second chef Andres and the horseman Gregorio. Guide Filio had a lot of knowledge and cleverness about the andean region, the culture, the medicine plants and animal wildlife. He showed us every day a part of his culture in a very friendly way. We met a typical andean farmerfamily and cooked in a special way, called patchamanka. He let us join a ceremony of his andean religion on the highest point of our trek and manages our tour perfectly. In Machu Picchu he takes a lot of time to let us experience the intensive atmosphere of this place. Sinchi and Andres cooked traditional peruvian food and arranges our meals in a lovely and delicious way. We never stayed hungry and the table looked like a meal on a king's birthday. Sinchi is able to bake delicious cake in a pot! Gregorio let us join his mules to carry our luggage and let us sleep on his property, a place next to a blue lagoon surrounded by the mountains. The trek was exhausting but so good, we saw only a few other people and so beautiful shapes of nature. In the nights we slept warm and good, we get a lot of tea and a hot water bottle against the cold. Our next tour will also be with TreXperience, we would definetly recommend you to our friends. In August 23 I had the best group and guides I could have asked for. The guide Amadeo was amazing and one of the best guides I ever had, and I travel a lot. He was so passionate about teaching us about Incas and everything he knows... it was perfect. Amadeo is so educated and even wrote a book... it was a pleasure to travel with him. He also took care of people like me who needed a bit more time to manage all those stairs and sent Ethel for help. She was very friendly and encouraged us to finish the trek. The porters were amazing and the food Valentino cooked was better than in many restaurants I have been. I already told friends and family about this amazing adventure and first will come in November to make the tour. Thanks for everything and I wish everybody just the best for the future Tamara

We had a very great moment thanks to our super guide Manolo and all the staff. It was a wonderful adventure, with a lot of laughs and history. I recommend this tour for sure !!

We had extremely good experience during our Trek. Our tour guide Filio was awesome throughout the tour, which made a big difference. Food was delicious and freshly prepared by chefs who travelled with us during the trek. During the tough parts of the trek, our tour guide provided extra help and kept us motivated. The scenery that we saw was out of this world. We highly recommend this experience! We added one more day to our tour to explore Machu Picchu better and JJ was great to explain all the history and show us best of Machu Picchu.

The experience was amazing. The trek was organized, clear, and challenging enough to be worth it and leave you feeling accomplished. I am glad that we did the Lares trek as we were able to see what life looks like to locals in the Andean mountains. On the way to the trek, our guide Miguel took us to a market to pick up bread & fruit to hand to local children that we pass. I am so glad he did! After 2 nights camping, we stayed in a hotel in Aguas Calientes (that we took a train to) and enjoyed Machu Picchu the following morning. It was so nice that our guide for the Lares trek also guides us around Machu Picchu. The whole crew was caring, professional, and lovely to be around. I would note that Lares trek is high in elevation - so layer up and pack warm. Mornings and nights are cold, winter gear is not only recommended but really should be required.
