Totally recommend this tour to everyone! It is perfect for people who want to visit less touristic areas! The food in the ship was awesome! We visited hidden areas with the kayak and we loved it! Also our tour guide, Bee, was really helpful!

Great Trip with Hang! Don't know the other guides but he was the best (ask him about his magic tricks). We were lucky enough to even see a Langur. Cat Ba Ventures brings you to very nice Lagoons with less tourists than in other spots. Kayak Trips were great & the food was yummy (especially the squids we fished on our own).

We had such a great time on the boat tour! We had a recommendation for this trip and we are greatful that we chose this company. Going from Cat Ba and great organized itinerary helped us to see the islands without tourists. We were in a small and calm group of people and our guide Bee was the best guide ever! He was funny, had very good english and gave us so many informations about the trip and also about Vietnam in general. The boat tour was very nice organized, we were swimming, kayaking or fishing squids but we also had a lot of time for rest. The room in the boat was big and with big windows for great views. And food on the boat was amazing!

Amazing experience exploring Lan Ha and Ha Long Bay. Boat and room was spacious and well maintained, food was delicious and we had the opportunity to go to quieter parts of the bay. The best part of the trip was the guide, Tony. Kept the group well organised and was incredibly entertaining. Trip wouldn’t have been as fun without him

We went on the 2D 1N trip with Hàng and crew and had a great time. We spent the day on a separate smaller boat before transferring to the bigger boat in the evening after activities. We were often the only boat around and the only group kayaking so it was very peaceful and relaxing. Hàng had good knowledge of the routes and caves and made sure we were safe getting in and out with the tides. The rooms were clean and spacious with comfortable beds and good AC. There is plenty of food. Boat was spacious but isn’t luxury but you don’t pay a luxury price. It’s still very comfortable with plenty of loungers on the deck and nice decor. We saw a bit of rubbish in the water but not too much compared to what people said who had been to the main part of Ha Long Bay. Hàng was very enthusiastic and had great magic tricks. It was Viet’s first tour and he was very professional and friendly. Thanks for a great tour!

The tour team was easy to contact and to arrange the two day one night tour. A lot of nature and great food. Hang our tour guide was very knowledgeable. He took time to get to know the group, arrange the activities and respond all our questions. Every step of the tour is very well organized and Hang just makes everything smooth! Thank you!!!

It were two really fun days! We did some kayaking, squid fishing, swimming etc. Food was also great and the tour guide Ben really friendly. Definitely recommend!

My sister and I had an incredible time on this 2 day trip around the bay! We were a group of 13 really cool people who didn’t know each other beforehand and were lucky to have Tony as our tour guide - he shared valuable tips, fun stories and helped us have a great time throughout the whole adventure. We went swimming to cool caves, kayaking, ate well, slept in nice rooms with incredible views. An all in all amazing experience, thank you again to everyone involved!

We had a fantastic trip as a family with two young kids - 2&5 - all were really well taken care of including vegetarian food. we really enjoyed the 2 days 1 night with our awesome guide Bee, highly recommended!

We had really great time and a lot of fun. Everything was perfect - our tour guide Ben was very knowledgeable, funny and had great English. The boat was very nice and spacious, we had an abundance of delicious food and the views were breathtaking. The only downside is that the bay is at some spots quite dirty but the boat always stopped for swimming in relatively clean areas. I would also recommend at least a medium level of fitness to be able to fully enjoy all the activities.

This trip was excellent from start to finish. Cat Ba Ventures seems very well organised. The staff in the shop on the seafront were always welcoming & knowledgable (the cafe next door is also excellent). The boat was clean and comfortable. My room was amazing with en-suite. I paid extra for solo occupancy. The group was 13 people, all strangers at the beginning but after doing all activities and eating meals together, we soon got know one another. The best thing was Tony the local guide. He was with us all the way through both days and all activities, which were superb. They knew where to go and at which time to avoid the crowds. When kayaking, we had some lagoons to ourselves and we were lucky to see monkeys in the trees. Tony is very knowledgable and a fantastic story teller. Really interesting to hear his insights from growing up in north & south Vietnam. I’d thoroughly recommend doing the overnight tour with Cat Ba Ventures. My recommendation to all of the tour companies and the tourist board is to keep this beautiful paradise area clean and free from plastic waste. That’s the only improvement needed.

Amazing tour with Tony ! We were 10 people in a medium size boat. We did very nice kayaking and swimming in lagunes. Meals and rooms were good quality !

What a fabulous trip! Hang was our guide. He made the trip personal and fun. He has great English and a good sense of humour and obviously loves meeting people from all over the world and making sure they have a fantastic time. We barely were aware of other boats and tourists and most of the time kayaked without anyone else in sight. The food was delicious and in abundance. The cabins were large with huge windows and the beds extremely comfortable. This was definitely one of my highlights of Vietnam and I am sure much of that was to do with Hang's warm personality and his efforts to give us all a memorable experience. For a fun and more intimate trip, with smaller groups, this is the company to go with and they have a great reputation in Cat Ba. It was also reasonably priced. Thank you!

This trip let us to explore the more hidden areas of Ha Long Bay. Hang was an amazing guide with a wide range of knowledge! He was always ready to help us and made our trip unforgettable.

Our tour guy whom we nick named muk-muk (aka Ben) was a fantastic tour guide. Everything from the beginning to the end was very smooth and hassle free. The view and private areas where we got to explore kayaking was really breath taking. The open water and surrounded by various giant rock formations is a must do in Vietnam. The size of the group was good, Wasn't too big. The food was not the best but decent. But I appreciate the crew for working so hard for us. I got a little motion sickness when the tides got a little high so just something to note. Muk Muk, if you read this , "Chúc mừng năm mới, ah Muk muk!" 🙃
