Really good, the bay is amazing and the team are really attentive and enthusiastic. Activities are good, would highly recommend!

The natural landscape is wonderful, the tour guide is funny. The food was delicious, in general everything was great. Thank you for your country and people.

They took care of us from the start till the end. The trip was nice and well organized. Food was excellent and they had even vegan options. We also were amazed by the beauty of Lan Ha bay. Very wonderful time here!

The cruise was great. The area the crew got us was not crowded at all and the crew was super! Also the kayak/swimming part was so cool as well as the bike trip in Cat Ba Island. I wish I had more time here!

Avoid this company. We had two major issues during our trip which made it overall largely unenjoyable. 1) our toilet in our room overflowed when the boat hit wavey bits all over the floor. We flagged and they put down a towel which sat in the bathroom for the rest of the trip covered in stuff from the toilet. They didn’t even wipe the bathroom floor. It was vile. 2) karaoke continued until after midnight due to some selfish, drunk guests. This meant we did not sleep much as had to be up at 6:30 for breakfast, thus ruining the next day. There was even families onboard. We asked for a partial refund and have been ignored by the company. They do not care once you have got your money. c£120 each for this rubbish. Also, my partner does not eat fish and the evening meal had 3 fish dishes, 1 chicken which was inedible so he hardly had anything to eat.

Awful company. We went on the 2D1N Cat Ba/Ha Long/Lan Ha cruise. Was awful from start to finish. Transfer was super early such that we missed breakfast because they couldn't wait 5 minutes for us to even go up and check our room, despite being >20 mins early. Dude was very arrogant. Then on the boat, when we hit open waters our toilet water splashed all over the bathroom floor, literally covering the place in urine and water. We told staff, who just launched a towel down in amongst it all - nice stinking towel just left there for the whole trip. Then the karaoke - started at 9, continued past midnight. 3 guests screaming into the wee hours while the rest of us tried to sleep. Kept us up and we had to be up at 6:30 for a 7am breakfast. Under slept so did not enjoy the second day at all. We offered to sit out the 2nd day and just leave for a partial refund. Head office said they'd "find a solution". This solution has been to ignore all of our messages and emails so far. Once they've got your money, it's gone - be warned. We aren't moany people, but for $150 this tour is a disgrace. Avoid at all costs in my opinion - way nicer boats and better quality trip for the money. How on earth they have 5 starts I'll never know - just appalling.

From the moment Soan (pronounced ‘One’) picked us up from our hotel in old Hanoi we felt safe and looked after. After several pick-ups and transfer to a large comfortable coach we set off South. Having been previously told we needed to pick up a tour from Cat Bah island our worries were dispersed, we were dropped off in a comfortable waiting room for the short wait for the motor boat which took us to our cruise boat. It is a sleek operation with a prescribed and well-trodden route - I suspect that whichever tour you choose you will end up in the right part cruising or sailing around the beautiful Ha Long Bay World Heritage site - there are lots of vessels but room for all. Our cruise on Venezia did not disappoint. Our room was lovely and clean, per the photos. The food was plentiful, drink prices acceptable (Happy Hour most of the evening). We were given lots of free water. We passed a floating village, went kayaking and swimming and visited Hospital Cave. On the boat we made Spring Rolls, fished for squid and had a karaoke session, One was an entertaining and attentive host ensuring the 15 of us including a toddler had everything we needed from start to finish. We highly recommend this cruise. Take a warm top if going in March, it was cool.

I did the 2 days/1 night cruise with Venezia Cruises and could not recommend visiting the bays with them enough! One of the reasons I chose them was because of the great reviews and they live up to the expectation. They take you to Lan Ha Bay and I loved this because it looks exactly like Halong Bay but less crowded. You will still spend some time navigating and kayaking in Halong Bay! The boat and rooms are gorgeous. The staff onboard was super nice, the food was incredible (and loads of it) and the highlight for me was Tiger, our tour guide. In my many months in Vietnam, I realized how difficult it is to have a good English-speaking guide, who is local and knowledgeable and he is all of this! Great company!

Good 2d1n cruise, fancy cabins, crew was friendly, tourguide spoke good english. Food was ok, kayaking and cycling were both fun and beautiful.

We had the best experience with Venezia Cruises from beginning to end. The rooms were clean, and the food was tasty, but what we loved the most was the tour guide and the crew on board. They were all lovely and very attentive. Although it was not that warm anymore nor sunny (we were there in mid December), we enjoyed every single activity, whether it was kayaking, making summer rolls, or the bike ride to a local town. The views from the boat were breathtaking and waking up to those views was an amazing experience. If we ever have the chance to go back to Vietnam we will definitely choose Venezia Cruises again.

I spent weeks hunting for the perfect cruise, and I'm thrilled to report an amazing experience. Biking along Cat Ba Island and taking in the stunning views of Lan Ha Bay without the usual crowds or boat traffic was pure magic. The cruise hits spots that most others miss, offering the freedom to kayak and explore quiet corners among thousands of islands. The top-notch food, attentive staff, and great accommodations make it worth every penny. I'd totally recommend and book this cruise again for anyone after a special adventure. Thank you staff!

Thanh and his crew took great care of us! We very much enjoyed the kayaking and the bike ride to the Viet Hai village. We even found the entrance to the lagoon inside of a limestone karst! The sunset was beautiful and we got to enjoy it from the lesser crowded Lan Ha Bay (I had read that Ha Long Bay was very crowded). And my husband very much enjoyed squid fishing with the crew and caught 2 squid! Although our group didn’t participate in the karaoke, we did enjoy making our own spring rolls. I definitely recommend experiencing Lan Ha Bay if you have 1.5 days to spend away from Hanoi.

Good value for money cruise on a nice boat with good food (they catered to my dietary needs), spacious cabins with really comfy beds and friendly staff. I liked the kayaking around the karst islands Abe the fact that there weren’t many other boats in Lan Ha Bay.

Our overnight cruise experience was wonderful. Their partner company helped coordinate transportation from the old quarter in Hanoi to the harbor where the cruise departed. The cost was an additional $29 USD per person for 2-way transport. It took about 3 1/2 hours. There is an option to take a boat to the island that is included in the transportation cost, or you can upgrade for $4 USD to take a cable car over. The staff was amazing and very helpful. There were only 16 passengers total on board, so it was very relaxing the entire time. On the first day, we got to kayak around to all the little islands and found a beach. The food was really good and freshly prepared for each meal. They made vegetarian options upon request, otherwise there was a lot of seafood. It was really hot during our visit (upper 90s F / 30 C). The individual bedrooms were air-conditioned which became a delightful necessity to escape the heat. Common areas on the boat like the dining room we’re not air condition, but they did have a fan blowing. The upper deck of the boat had lounge chairs, and they also did a short cooking demo on Vietnamese spring rolls before dinner. Each bedroom also had their own shower/toilet. The views from each room where are stunning as we parked in a quiet area of the bay. On day two we arrived at a local village, but we had to take a 20 minute bike ride to get there or we have the option to take an electric cart. The bike ride was beautiful with winding roads and two hills (had to walk up one) but very doable, even for kids. I would highly recommend this experience. I was glad that we booked this particular cruise, as opposed to the hustle and bustle of the highly touristy area in Halong Bay.

Best tour value, especially for what you are paying. Perfect if you are looking for a quiet, chill, and relaxing experience compared to the business of Halong bay. Must add $29 (as of May 2023) for additional transport to Lan Ha Bay, but totally worth it as its quite a scenic drive. Overall experience 20/10 for the views and relaxation, food 4/10. activities 5/10. Day 1 - I got picked up from my hotel for the transport at around 7:30AM, and we got the Lan Ha Bay at 11:30AM, on the boat with Minh by 12:30. There were only 9people on our cruise, so it was a quiet and intimate experience, no fighting with a lot of people. Best part of the cruise was the views, the small group setting, and the views. Kayaking was okay, swimming was amazing and relaxing. Squid fishing was short lived, but a fun and different activity. At night after the sunsets, the bay has very few boats, and its very relaxing. Day 2- Chose to woke up at 5:30 am for the sunrise which is amazing from the top teck. Set out to Catba village at 8am, it was a 40 minute bike ride, very beautiful and relaxing. The village itself was only okay, very staged but theres a lot of jackfruit trees and cows in the valley, so that is nice and made it still worth visiting. Returned the boat for check out by 10:30 and had lunch before returning to shore at around noon. All in all, highly highly recommend this trip, way better than the Halong bay ones. The activities were good enough, and the food was only okay, but the real value was in the cruise views and peace

I can't choose my favorite part between the amazing small kayak trip we made across the Lan Ha bay, the joyful bike ride to the Viet Hai village or the spring roll class with mr. T (Trung). He took the time to explain lots of thing about the vietnamese culture, their way of living and his personal experiences. Very humble about it, saying every vietnamese citizen could tell us the same, he has a special way to share his knowledge in a fluent english. We really appreciated the quality of our guide. Of course the food was delicious and the crew was courteous, smiling and available for our needs.

We had a wonderful time and the staff made our trip wonderful, could not do enough for us. Originally i thought i had booked a trip to halong bay or at least we would see it but this trip does not go near it! You go to Cat Ba island and Lan Han bay. However they are both very similar and I’m sure I did not miss much except lots more boats and tourists. The activities were good, food good and rooms very nice! Eric our tour guide made our trip ! And he arranged a transfer for us to Nihn Bin(which was also a wonderful place to visit) overall I would say if you want to see the bay for a reasonable price this is the option for you.
