Although the reviews were pretty mixed for the tour, we chose to embark on a half day tour with them. It was quite surprising how perfectly everthing was organised. Yes, the island dwellers were somewhat pushy for us to buy things but we understood that this wasn beyond the control of the tour company as the other travellers we met who did tour with other companies also had similar experiences. However, on the brighter side, the island is photogenic and the guide was very nice and courteous. We learnt a lot about their history and the way these islands are built. It was quite a relaxing half day trip.

Nothing memorable really. The tour operator came late. They asked us to pay extra to drop off at the hotel, then extra for another smaller boat, then to buy local artifacts.

I won't recommend it if you dislike a large group tour. The group is around 20-30 people. The itinerary is simply travelling to the island, listening to some simple introduction to the island's history and life, and shopping for souvenirs.

It was interesting to see the islands, but wish there was more to the tour than to see one island and a boat ride. Lake Titicaca is enormous, maybe a longer tour would be more beneficial to see more the Lake offers. But over all, not bad.

Very nice guides. A lot of interesting information, but a little bit too touristic. The good-by singing was a bit over the top.

We booked this trip quite late the night before for the 12pm tour so we had to exchange emails with the tour operator to figure out if they would be able to pick us up from the hotel. It all got sorted in the end, though, and the trip was enjoyable. The boat ride to the island is quite short and very pretty, and it was interesting to hear about the islands and how they are made and maintained. As always with these activities, there is an element of being shown various souvenirs to buy but there was no pressure to actually purchase anything. Everyone in our group opted for the optional reed boat trip, which was S./ 10 per person. The ride on the boat itself was nice but not that different from any other boat. Being able to visit the 'commercial centre' of the islands was good, though, as we had the time to have lunch and some drinks from the local restaurant. Overall a good experience and recommended for a short daytime activity in Puno.

Seeing Uros floating island was a primary reason for visiting the lake. We were ot disappointed. Planet Odysseys took a great care of us from the moemnt they picked us up from our hotel i the city. This was a very unreal yet a pleasant and an unforgettable experience.

I landed in Juliaca airport and upon our request a representative of Planet Odysseys organised my transfer and hotel in Puno. Both were inexpensive and very convinient. On the day of the tour they picked me up from the hotel too. The tour was nice and very pleasant experience. After my Uros trip I reached the bus terminal to board my bus to Cusco and it started getting dark and cold and I was not comfortable staying out as a foriegner. A Planet Odysseys representative let me be in her office in the bus terminal. They are very considerate and are exceptionally accomodating.

This was a good experience. Totally worth it. Everything was good. They were among a handful of tour companies who offered a hotel transfer for this price. The guide was nice and spoke good English. People is Uros island were welcoming and friendly. It was a short boat ride to Uros from Puno an excellent way to get an hint of Uru culture and people if you don´t have much time.

Everything was exceptional, from pick up to drop off they were simply amazing. We were short of time so just visited Uros floating islands. Nancy was very helpful. She even assisted us in getting our bus booked to Cusco. Total VIP treatment. Highly recommended!

Very nice tour of the lake and the people who live on it. In my opinion, the 1/2 day was enough to see all that there is. We motored out to one of the floating islands, met the people who live there, saw how they build them, and then mingled a bit. The families living on the island are very hospitable, and of course they depend on the tourist trade, so bring a couple of extra soles to buy some handicrafts or take a reed boat ride. Everything was reasonably priced, and there is no pressure to buy anything. Plenty of photo opps. I highly recomend it.

El tour incluía recogido en hotel y 2 días antes dijeron q no se podía. A la hora de encuentro establecida por el guía, había una desorganización y nos montaron con otra persona que ya se nos había acercado a ofrecer el tour. El bote tenía un olor desagradable y en la isla todo estaba “preparado” para turistas y no fue una experiencia real.

Le guide parlait pas très bien anglais , la visite était du vite fait bien fait . Expérience très moyenne .

Ir al LAGO TITICCA por medio día fue estupendo, pase un momento agradable conocer la ISLA DE LOS UROS y el lago con un color impresionante, me pareció muy bueno, saque buenas fotos, el guía siempre compartió sus conocimientos, fue muy bueno siempre haciéndonos reír muy buena persona.

Todo estaba bien organizado , los paisajes fueron geniales, nuestro guía siempre fue responsable, atento y amable con nosotros. No me puedo quejar del tour todo me pareció genial, me gusto mucho la amabilidad de las personas. Aun que estuve poco tiempo todo me agrado me voy con buenos recuerdos
