I booked a 2 hour tour on Lake Como for my family (my wife and I and two daughters 8 and 5 years old). All of the transaction was easy to sort and we were given clear instructions on where to meet. Our captain and tour guide for the day (Davide) was really welcoming and made us feel really comfortable to relax and enjoy the boat. He explained lots about the lake and sights along the way and bought fun to our tour (even helping me practice speaking Italian). A private boat tour on a sunny calm day on Lake Como with the girls singing songs from the greatest showman will be a memory I will keep forever. I’d highly recommend this to anyone considering it.

Fantastic experience with Davide, our boat driver. The boat was large and clean. We had 10 people and it easily fit all of us. We enjoyed glasses of Prosecco while our driver took pictures & videos of us. We enjoyed a 4 hour tour with a stop in Bellagio. Davide would stop the boat and give us a history lesson on each of the villas. Communication with the boat company was really good. Text messages were answered within a few hours at the most; minutes while we were in Como. Would HIGHLY recommend. Can’t wait to come back.

My wife and I had an amazing time on the boat Tour. Our captain, Marco, was wonderful. He was on time, knowledgeable and also took our pictures. We highly recommend this if you have a short stay in Como it is a great luxurious way to see a lot in a short span of time.

Incredible experience with an amazing guide! Well worth the money. Lake Como is absolutely stunning and it was awesome to experience it in a private boat tour. They provided music, champagne and knowledge of the area. I would highly recommend!

We arranged for a one hour private tour in a wooden taxi boat and added custom pick up in Curate Urio for our party of 4 which included me and my husband, as well as our 2 moms. Our pilot and guide was Elisa. On the day of our tour she contacted us to coordinate pick up based on weather/waves on the lake to ensure safety while boarding and was kind and knowledgeable as she showed us the many beautiful properties and villas situated around Lake Como. Prior to our arrival, we had several communications with the tour scheduler Cecilia who was attentive to our inquiries, always in a timely manner. We absolutely loved our time on the lake and would highly recommend this tour group to anyone visiting Lake Como! We hope to visit again someday and engage in another tour with Il Medeghino!

The experience was wonderful filled with many excellent photo opportunities. The short visit to Bellagio was an additional highlight. Our boat captain Davida was very friendly and accommodating.

Claudio was great. We had an amazing expeience. He is also a very good guide. I recomend it to everyone.

Fantastic 3 hour morning cruise with Michele on the Cranchi. Michele was knowledgeable, fun, and flexible - and yet very responsible as a captain. We stopped for quick Aperol Spritzes in Varenna, which we would have missed otherwise because of how difficult it has become to rely on riding the ferries. Michele told us about the notable towns and villas on Como and also about the region's history and development. A private boat tour is a qualitatively different experience from either the fast or the slow ferries. It is fun and it is informative and it engages in a way that ferries cannot. Don't miss out on the sheer joy of it if you can swing it. In terms of organizing, Claudio and Cecilia were great: very responsive, made sensible suggestions, and even worked with us when it turned out that we had accidentally booked for the wrong date! A great end to our Como stay. Thank you Il Medeghino!

Chicco was our captain yesterday on a private tour for my fiancé and I. His communication prior the tour and during was impeccable. We did a 3 hour tour to some of the most key and iconic spots on the lake. We did have some special requests and Chicco also added other key spots to our list of attractions to see. His humour and energy was amazing and added such great comfort and joy to our tour. This was one of the best excursions we could have done on our Italy trip and we are so grateful we did this. If you’re in Como, you have to get on a boat and do a tour! You won’t be disappointed!

We had an amazing time on the Cranchi E26 with Elisa. She was very knowledgeable about the lake and all of the villas along the ride. We stopped in Bellagio for 30 minutes for some quick shopping and then finished the tour with a quick dip in the lake across from Versace’s former villa. I’d give it 10 stars if I could!

We reserved the Cranchi 26 for our family for 4 hours and had the best time. We truly felt transported to the pace and beauty of Italy with our very knowledgeable guide Eilà. We (two adults, 10yo & 7yo) recommend this to everyone considering finding a fun and unique way to experience Lake Como!

Valentino gave us a wonderful and relaxing tour of the southern part of Lake Como. He was flexible to talk about what we wanted to learn, took us past some of the most beautiful villas and other architecture along the lake, and was really a joy to talk to. His boat was really clean and comfortable, and made for some of the best photo opportunities of the trip. Thank you Valentino!

The boat operator showed up late, then we he had to get paperwork sorted out at a nearby location before we could begin our tour. During the boat tour, we were dropped off at the Bellagio dock (this was a stuggle for him as his boat was not functioning well and quite scary for us). We were told to meet him back at the dock at a given time, he did not show up for 45 mins after that time, so then he rushed us back to Como instead of doing a stop at another town as he had told us at the beginning of the boat tour. It was too expensive a tour, given the delays and the condition of the boat .... I would not recommend a tour with this group.

Unbelievable Party cruise! Boat tour around lake Como was fenomenal and the karaoke experience was fantastic! Me and my friends had so much fun 💖 The owner is super kind and met all our needs. For sure the best in town!

An afternoon tour with Claudio as our boat driver. He was an absolute gentleman. Great to get away from tourist buses. Lovely stop in Varena village. Night lights on the way back were amazing. My daughters rate the experience 12 out of 5!

Highly recommend Il Medeghino. My girlfriend and I booked a tour with them in early September. The driver picked us up at our hotel dock and was very informative and helpful throughout the tour. One of the best experiences in Lake Como.

Our 6 hour boat ride is a must do when in Lake Como and you must do it with Claudio and his staff. We were suppose to go on a Cranchi boat and Claudio’s boat had a problem. He called me and told me he would get us another Cranchi for the next day. He did, but unfortunately, he could not take us out on the lake as he had to deal with the boat. He had Michael take us out and he was amazing!! He explained a lot and showed us areas we probably never would have seen if it wasn’t for the boat. He was enthusiastic and you could tell he loved what he was doing. I would highly recommend going on a private boat tour with Claudio or Michael! It was the highlight of our trip to Lake Como.
