Our guide, Beatrice, gave us a wonderful context to the region through the different foods we tried. She was highly knowledgeable and encouraged questions and interaction in a very relaxed way.

This was one of the best things we have done while traveling Europe! Manuela was very informative about the culture and history of the town. She was fun and interesting to listen to and made our experience very memorable. The stops on our tour were amazing and she was very knowledgeable about the places and their history which made it that more special. Would recommend her and this tour to anyone and everyone looking to explore some great food and company!

We had a wonderful time walking and eating our way around La Spezia with our knowledgeable and delightful guide, Gaia. We sampled focaccia, pasta with pesto, farinata, mixed fried fish and topped it all off with gelato. Gaia, born and raised in La Spezia, provided a home grown perspective to the tour.

Serena was a wonderful guide through the town; giving us lots of tips beyond food . We stopped at 5 places for wonderful eats Definitely book this one!

Our host was Llaria, she was very friendly and we immediately felt at ease. She was knowledgeable about La Spezia, and the surrounding area and gave us some great tips and recommendations for the rest of our stay in the region. The food was a good mixture of snacks, street food and restaurant which took us around the city and we discovered some places we hadn't explored yet. Good value for money, as we were very full at the end of the evening and definitely tried things we wouldn't have thought to ask for on our own. An excellent way to spend an evening in La Spezia. I would highly recommend this tour.

The food tour was excellent! Ilaria was our host and she was very lovely and kind. She told us a lot of interesting facts about La Spezia and it just couldn't have been better! I loved every second of the tour and definitely didn't end up with an empty stomach. The food was amazing too!

We had a lot of fun with our guide Ilaria and the other attendees. Ilaria showed us really delicious typical food from Italy, especially La Spezia. Sie was really well known and told us a lot about the food and also had many facts about the City. We had a great evening! What an amazing experience we had! We sampled the local foods and wines. Some we liked an others not so much. Our guide was fabulous, taking us on a tour of the city as well. We had a great experience. Be prepared to walk a lot! Even my daughter tried foods I never thought she would touch. Would do this again in a heart beat!

Sofia was absolutely amazing! She met us on time and showed us all around the city. The food was fabulous and we got to try so many different local places. It was also nice to have time dedicated to us and our questions instead of a large group. We would highly recommend!

Beatrice was the best guide we could ask for! She was very knowledgeable of the city because she is native to the city. The he food was amazing and the initial place where we started were the nicest owner and so helpful. The pesto pasta salad was amazing and ending with the gelato was the final touch! We had a great experience and I to a guy was the best she made us feel so at home and every restaurant we went to. We enjoyed each one of them. I tried to upload my pictures, but they wouldn’t upload.

Way overpriced for what you get. We had 4?meals in other cities for same price. The guide was lovely but save your money.

We had an amazing time with Beatrice during our food tour!! She met us on time, showed us some amazing hidden gems in La Spezia and was very knowledgeable about the city and what we were eating. She even gave us some tips for our next destinations and how to find the best gelato and what kind of restaurants to avoid! 10/10 experience with some of the best food we had in the whole trip.

Sofia was an excellent tour guide. We had some excellent local food. The seafood was delicious for example. Sofia was very professional and took care of us. It was like dining out with a very good friend.

This experience was a wonderful way to experience local food with a knowledgable, engaging host. Our host/guide, Sofia, was a wealth information and provided historical accounts of the food and the area. The first two stops on the tour were “walking” followed by two seated restaurants and then a lovely tea house for dessert. The walking portion was nice as we were able to learn more about control La Spezia. We tasted everything from the local fried seafood to fresh pasta to panigacci. The wines were lovely too. Be prepared to eat-it’s a lot of food! If you have a chance to book with Sophia, I highly recommend doing so!!
