This was such a fun tour! Noriko offered a lot of information and showed us a great time. It was really laid back and we could ask all sorts of questions. She was really helpful with recommendations as well. Definitely nice to stop into places you normally wouldn’t.

Nami was the best. Showed us some places we otherwise would have walked straight past. Nami's knowledge of the area was great and she was very informative.

An excellent bar hopping tour in Kyoto. Visited three different bars. Yukari was an awesome host and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend booking the tour with Yukari.

I hate to leave a bad review but in this case it has to be done. Few issues to start. It classifies itself as a beer hopping tour however we didn’t get our first drink for 40 minutes. I went solo and was a nice American couple there also. Very little atmosphere as it’s so early. I had went out the night before and found it far more enjoyable going at your own pace and finding bars on the street with everyone very friendly. The food is very very basic choice and quite limited selection in the grand scheme of things. You get a total of 3 drinks and 3 small plates of food so very hard to justify the cost. Along with that the Guide was an absolute lovely woman but felt I was more obligated to be there rather than a bar crawl. Disappointed overall when you put the cost of £90 against it and 3 hours. Would have gone to a temple or something to make up the late afternoon hours before heading down at about 8pm.

Hiroko was a great tour guide and very sweet. It was interesting trying new foods and drinking sake. Thank you so much! We had fun.

Noriko was a fantastic host, if you ever come to Kyoto, please book with her as she is friendly and lively. She knows a lot about Kyoto too. I especially liked the Chidori Ashi

The Kyoto Bar Hopping tour will give you a more intimate experience of Kyoto, with unique site and sound, and smell (of delicious foods). And the drinks were really good too. On top of that, our tour guide Yuni was so friendly which made the trip so enjoyable. She even took us to a Karaoke bar where we ended our tour with a night of singing and laughter. Highly recommended.

Naru was a great guide and we had a lot of fun. We went to three different bars: one specializing in sake, one izakaya style, and a karaoke bar. There were six of us in total, including Naru, so the size of the group was pretty small, which was nice. Kyoto was so crowded when we visited. Cherry blossoms were in their prime, and it was a weekend. Naru somehow got us away from the crowds. The drinks were great and there was a nice variety of drink specialties and options. My only complaint was that I expected more food to be included based on the description of the tour. This was not enough food for a full meal. There was barely food at the second bar and no food at the third bar other than a few rice crackers.

We had an awesome time with our guide, Ataru! Such a nice guide taking us to fun spots in Kyoto. We learned about secret neighborhoods and had a blast!

Hiroko was great. We got much more than a bar crawl. We learned about the history and culture of Kyoto as a whole, but also about the things that we saw along the way. The bars chosen were all unique in their own way. Never been much for singing, but my wife and I almost closed down the karaoke bar that we ended with. Very enjoyable tour.

Ataru is terrific and a wonderful host. It’s clear he loves Kyoto and wants to share the best it has to offer. We closed the night with some karaoke which will be a memory we appreciate for years to come.
