I find the guides on free tours are passionate and informative. We had Emily an American living in Krakow and she was excellent. We did the morning tour and followed it up with the Jewish Quarter walking tour with her again in the afternoon. Lots of trivia and a comfortable walking pace. The weather was great.

Slavek did a lovely tour for us around Krakow’s old town. We really appreciated the stories and legends behind the old town’s history- something you won’t normally read in books or Wikipedia.

Slavec was really great so glad i joined the tour this morning. He also gave great suggestions for places to go and experience after the tour 10/10

Booked this tour last minute, but definitely weren't disappointed. Easy meeting points, and no forced prices. Just pay what you believe it is worth. Our guide, Chris, was great throughout the tour, and we even decided to do a 2nd tour after our brilliant old town tour in the morning

Two excellent tours today, guided by Slavek - the Old Town / Castle tour and the Jewish Quarter tour. Very informative tour guide, who was also good fun. Each tour was about 2 hours long, but the time went quickly. A perfect way to spend our first day in Krakow. Highly recommend Krakow Explorer tours!

Bart our guide was fantastic, we saw places we would never have never seen on our own wandering about. Highly recommend. We done 2 tours. The 1st one was in the morning and was around the old town. The 2nd one was around the Jewish quarter. Each tour lasted approx 2.5hrs we had 1.5hrs break between the 2 tours. Fantastic tours. Brilliant funny friendly guide.

Tour was great. But you don't need to book or pay. I paid through tripadvisor to book but the tour guide said no one needs to and the money doesn't go to them. Go to Krakow explorers directly for information.

Great tour with Kris, you could see the orange umbrella and Join. Kris is a archeologist he knows a lot of things about this beautiful city

I read some reviews about this and decided to give it a go. Amazing. So glad we did. Chris was a fantastic guide and very informative. Got to see bits of krakow we might have missed otherwise. Only sorry we didn’t have time to do the afternoon tour of the Jewish area. Highly recommend this tour to everyone.

Slovak was very informed, very funny and very engaging. Excellent tour. Lots of interesting stories and historical facts. Recommended to anyone visiting Kraków

Chris was an excellent guide. We did 2 tours with him - Old Town one day, Jewish Quarter the next. Very interesting and informative. Word of warning, the Jewish Quarter/ ghetto tour is not for the faint hearted. It certainly brings history to life. I recommend it to all. Don't ignore history or you're in danger of repeating it. No charge for the tour but please tip well. That's how they find the tours. Book direct rather than 3rd party sites.

Tour was great, but you don't need to book or pay through Trip Advisor. Do it through here 'krakow explorers' dot com directly, then bring some cash for tips!

We did this on our last day, shame not first day. Gives great history and stories about area as well as tips on eating, drinking,etc. Very knowledgeable, Matthew was great. 2 hours of walking with stops to look at stuff and chance to take pics. Knew so much, was an excellent local guide

The tour was a mix of information on the history and culture of the old town of Krakow and the castle. It was informative and funny and Bart the guide was fantastic.
