She first took us through the market and pointed out a lot of different foods and ingredients. She also bought some for us to try. When we got to her place we cooked traditional Korean food, and ate it together as a group. It was an amazing experience all in all, would 100% recommend to anyone interested in cultural culinary. She was very informative and she made it very exciting!

What a great cooking class, market tour was fun, food was delicious and even learned some Korean. Would highly recommend. My only suggestion would be to have a few chairs with backs as stools are hard on my back.

Jonghee was a lot of fun to be with. She was very friendly and welcoming into her home. She first took us to the local market and invited us to try some street food, while explaining about Korean food culture and seasons. Then we went to her kitchen where everything was perfectly laid out for us to start cooking. The recipes were easy to follow and the food was delicious and plentiful. Jonghee made sure to adjust for spice tolerance and the whole activity was very well organized to keep us all busy and have everything ready at the same time. She provided all the recipes and gave alternatives for substituting hard to find ingredients when back home. She also said we could always contact her with questions. And she taught us some basic Korean expressions. We all had a great time. I highly recommend this activity to anyone interested in Korean food and culture.

We had an amazing time cooking with Junghee. Junghee was super energetic. She is the kind of host that makes everyone comfortable and feel part of a group :) About the food: It was delicious and will be easy to re-create at home now that we had all the live explanations and the recipes. Other +: We really enjoyed the market tour. It was a great moment for us to ask all the questions we had about unknown products and learn more about specific korean ingredients. Even if not concerned, we really appreciated that she asked prior to the session and again at the session about food allergies. In a nutshell, we 100% recommend this cooking class :) Costel & Marion

This class and market tour were lots of fun and ended up with a great group meal. Met nice people from other countries, learnt to cook a Korean meal, and even learnt and practised a few words of Korean. Perfect!

Where the chef lives and how efficient she was in teaching the culinary foods with herbs and spices is what I was interested in.

The teacher was lively and well organized so everything went very smoothly. The food we prepared was delicious and she provided us with good instructions to replicate it at home.

This was WONDERFUL! We went on a tour through the market in Mapo, which was both fun and educational. The cooking class itself was a blast, the food we made was so good and the teacher was fantastic. I highly recommend this activity for anyone visiting Seoul.

We had so much fun learning how to make bibimbap, seafood pancakes and learning some korean expressions within a group from all over the world! We highly recommend this class. Everything was delicious ( mashiseoyo) and our host Chongui was charming, entertaining and funny! She comes from Busan and can also help with interesting suggestions! Wonderful experience for our family! Truly treasured time together…this cooking class was one of the highlights of our trip to Seoul. Our host Junghee started with a tour through her eighborhood street market where she shops. For the cooking class, we prepared several dishes. Junghee is an expert and has these recipes nailed. Super fun, approachable, and informative, we all readily followed and executed a delicious meal. We will make these again when we get back home. Highly recommend Junghee’s cooking class!

I had so much fun with this class and made some pretty and cute sushi 😁 they even give you cute packaging to take your sushi home

Sara was an excellent Host. The food was delicious, the other students were great to hear their stories. We would highly recommend this class.
