We had a wonderful on the walking tour of Kilkenny with our knight in shining armour. The small group made it very special and we loved the opportunity to have photos in a tower with his sword and medieval equipment. Highly recommend doing this tour for something a bit different.

Kids had so much fun, especially with the sword and armor demo in the tower! Good to see little known spots around town and end in at the castle!

The knight was a lovely man. We enjoyed his enthusiasm. We just didn’t realize it was really focused on the dark ages and the fighting.

Dylan was great. He was knowledgeable friendly and funny. Learned a lot about Kilkenny and had fun doing it.

Even though our tour guide Dylan said he failed on his history exam, he knew everything inside and out of kilkenny, especially the road markings and the penny feathered Lane which took an interest in me. I absolutely adored his Knight outfit that he got to show us and the helmet followed on with the 3 different types of swords. The other scene which took an interest in me was when he shared the poem of hurling cats to us. I thought that was an absolute lovely poem to share amongst us while touring with him throughout certain parts of the city. I would absolutely love to go back again real soon in the summer to explore certain parts of kilkenny to visit. Thank you so very much Dylan for taking the time out with us to show us what medeveil was like back in the days.

We had a blast with our knight for the day! The kids thought it was so cool to walk around with a knight AND get to hold some of his armor and swords!! (Blunted for safety :). I would highly recommend for anyone looking for some history with a laugh and some fun.

We ended up having a private tour on a Friday with Dylan. It was an interesting way to see the town of Kilkenny. Our tour guide was a good storyteller and was a little quirky in the best way. He was very funny and took us to a few great sites and gave us good suggestions to check other things out after the tour was completed.

Dylan was so much fun. This is worth way more than the price. Please tip him BIG - he deserves it. He is very knowledgeable and has a dry, hilarious sense of humor. It's just the right length of time and the walk is easy. Highly recommend!

It was great having a private guide and learning the history of Kilkenny. Dillon was very knowledgable and fun to be with too. We saw parts of Kilkenny that we would have missed, and heard great stories.

Dylan is clearly passionate about Medieval times and we appreciated that. He tells a lot of stories, with varying degrees of success. Some of the folktales and one personal story were very long and seemed like filler. The visit to the guard tower was very interesting. This tour has potential but needs more material with more substance.

So much fun! We highly recommend this tour. It's the perfect amount of walking, stories and sights. Dillon is a wonderful guide and quite funny too. Be sure to ask about "hurling cats". 😉
