Sharon is very knowledgeable and a fun personality! She is a fantastic story teller. We saw some a few haunted places and heard some great stories.

The tour was phenomenal. Sharon has such passion for her city and its stories, and it comes through in every moment. It is far more of a dark history tour than a straight-up ghost tour, but that's what we were looking for. We will absolutely take a tour with Sharon again.

My husband, 3 kids, and I were on this tour on Thursday 25 April. I am from Laois originally and it was the first time my husband and children came to Ireland with me. I was looking for something fun for us to do while we were staying with my cousin in Kilkenny to break up some of the monotony. We were completely captivated by our tour guide, she was a great presenter and very knowledgeable. I learned a lot about Kilkenny that I hadn't known previously. I would go on another tour in a heartbeat.

What a fascinating and entertaining history lesson! So interesting to hear the dark past and visit the places they happened.

We had an amazing time taking the tour on Monday! It gave us a great understanding of the history Kilkenny had experienced and was delivered in such an engaging way. After taking the tour it even gave us more insight for things to do in the area which is a great bonus!

Just went on this tour this week and theres nothing like a good old local tour guide to tell the the dark secrets of a very old city. The tour was the best . I always take dark tours when I am travelling. Plus your supporting the locals. The terrible history the people went through over the centuries ein Kilkenny brings all the history of the medieval period to light. Also got some really good eatery and pub recommendations. If you like querky dark stories youll love this. Authenthic and original. Thank you

Guide was very nice, but the content was more historical than haunted. Had done a historical tour prior so this was a repeat and waste of time and money.

What a character! She’s so charming and knowledgeable. Don’t know how super haunted it was but very interesting and educational. She also gave us some great leads to restaurants. Highly recommend. A must do.

Great tales of the spookier side of the history of the Great town of Kilkenny. Enjoyed this tour immensely.

This tour is a must do if you are visiting the Medival City - Kilkenny. Sharon was a great tour guide and the tour was both interesting and spooky. It was great to see so much of the beautiful city while on the tour. Definitely book this in advance as we were lucky to get a spot.

The guide was good and shared some nice history. Unfortunately it was the same information we had heard from our day tour. I thought it might be more "spooky" and really have some theatrical ghost stories. Would be a good tour if you didn't also do another walking tour during the day. Being winter season, it was super cold so the day tour is a better option in the winter.

My partner and I recently went on a tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the historical dark tales and spooky feel to this tour and really got to see the city of Kilkenny. I would definitely recommend this tour to others who love history and are visiting Kilkenny.

I was disappointed with the tour. Our experience appears to be similar to other low scoring reviews - we seemed to get a stand in who was certainly knowledgeable, but phoning it in too. We learned some history but it was painfully obvious our guide was peppering in some ghost references as an afterthought. I’d call this a historical tour, not a ghost tour. It also seems to have finished 20mins early and we weren’t left back at the castle.

One of the best tours I have ever taken. Full of dark history and chilling stories. The old part of the city which I never would have known. This is must when you arrive in Kilkenny. We definitely got the chills on this scary tour

We were very fortunate to have Sharon as our guide for only two people because two others canceled. She was not only knowledgeable about Kilkenny’s dark past, but it’s rich history too. She gave us tips for live music and local attractions. She was fun and personable and we had the best time. Anyone lucky enough to get Sharon for the tour, will be very pleased!

Great Tour! Family of four loved it! Very informative about the history but also the fun scary stories of the area. She also showed us a really old pub in the area, that’s been around since the 1500s. Highly recommend!
