Really enjoyed our trip on the river Nore. Our guide was Cliff and he was really well informed about Kilkenny history and he was so entertaining.

We had a very informative and relaxing ride with a guide named Elder. He shared history of the Nore River and Ormonde family history, and he had a very easy going way about him. It was a casual, comfortable and informative tour. I would recommend the experience.

I took this trip on a gorgeous day, which showed the natural beauty of the river and buildings. Elder (apologies if I misspell!) was a wonderful guide - I was the only one on this tour and he immediately made me feel comfortable, and had good facts and conversation. Seeing the river wildlife and another angle of the city was so worth it.

The views and the scenery was amazing. The boat tour guide was full of information about where we were. It was definitely value for money. Saw plenty of different birds.

Myself and my dad did the boat tour today. Elder took us out and was really knowledgeable and was a really good tour guide. Really enjoyed it, a great mix of nature and the history of Kilkenny. Elder was fab.

What a fabulous boat trip with lots of information and jokes along the way, beautiful scenery and views of the Kilkenny Castle, nice wildlife, swans, cygnets and a heron didn't see the otters. Would recommend highly it was something different to do.

Definitely a relaxing hour on the river. It's not a very picturesque river, and you don't cover a long stretch. Good overview, and a fun guide.

Wonderful guide, beautiful view of sites you can’t get from the ground. Spent a lot of time idling, would have loved to go farther up or down the river but not sure that was possible. Still highly recommend for the historic information and recommendations of things to see in Kilkenny.
