We were a group of 9 people who chose to do 8 days Lemosho route with Habari Adventure after being recommended with our friend who did the same program in 2022. Our trip went very smoothly we had an absolutely amazing experience. Our guides were very professional with a lot of knowledge of the mountain and the Tanzania culture especially a chagga tribe located on the slope of Mt.Kilimanjaro. They were always fun and in good mood which made our trip enjoyable. Our chef Remy was very kind with 5 star cooking experience the food was delicious and he prepared many vegetarian food for me as well. We had the best group of porters they did everything they could to make our experience the best it could be. We really enjoyed the singing by the porters and guides on every camp from we started and our last day at Habari Adventure office. I highly recommend Kilimanjaro as the best place to visit and thankful to Habari Adventure for organizing such amazing trek for us. We all made it to the top of Africa.

Kilimanjaro was on my bucket list and it came true with the help of Habari adventure. We did the 8-day Lemosho route and the guides were extremely experienced and made sure that we were in the right shape to continue the hike. Communication with Habari was perfect and everything went as planned. All staff members and guides were always so friendly and helpful, especially when our luggage was lost by the airline. Caroline called the airport for us and helped ensure it made it to the right hotel. The climbing team was excellent in all aspects from food, porters, logistics and reassurances while climbing. The food was great, the tents were clean and the dining tent was always ready for us upon arrival to each camp. In terms of variety of food each day we had different entrees and sides that kept our appetites going throughout the hike something that is very rare on this hike as most lose their appetite by the fourth day. At the bottom of the mountain we all celebrated together with a bottle of champagne. They truly know how to make the experience unforgettable and looking at all the other expeditions we encountered, we definitely had the best. I had a great time with them and I can recommend this company to everybody. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Habari Adventure is an excellently run company who can provide guides with a wealth of experience on the mountain, super helpful, friendly crew were so much fun. You will feel part of the family by the end. Waiter brought morning tea or coffee and hot water washing bowl in our tents as a wake up. We appreciate the delicious and abundant food. For summit day the guides and summit porters were superhuman in their ability to encourage, support, and assist with tasks remaining positive throughout when at time was a massive struggle. An excellent group of guides, waiter and porters were well organized and professional helped make our Kilimanjaro hike a trip to remember. I intend to try and come back to do another hike with the team. Highly recommend Habari Adventure.

We booked a 8 day Kilimanjaro hike via Lemosho route with Habari Adventure, followed by a few days safari afterwards. All through the planning and booking process, Caroline at Habari Adventure was helpful and responsive, often responding to our emails full of questions within an hour or too to answer. The whole trip was organized for us when we arrived in Tanzania, including pickup and drop-off from/to the airport. For the trek, Leon and Abdi were excellent guides, patient, helpful, good company, and did everything they could to ensure we got up the mountain safely. Musa, Abuu and the rest of the porters worked incredibly hard and took such good care of us the whole way up and down. Our safari took us to a number of different parks, where our guide Hillary was friendly, informative, and seemingly blessed with the eyes of a hawk many times spotting animals with his bare eyes that I could barely see with binoculars! The lodges we stayed in were also incredibly nice and relaxing. Overall I cannot recommend Habari Adventure enough if you're looking for either a Kilimanjaro trek or a safari trip, this guys are the best 100%

My friends and I had the best experience climbing Kilimanjaro with Habari in Dec 2023/Jan 2024. Everything from the communication with the team in the office, to the experience provided by the guides, porters and chefs on the mountain was exemplary. I could go on and on about everything they did well, from the food on the mountain being delicious, to the great vibes that the whole group provided, however one extraordinary thing they did stands above the rest. It was one of my friends birthdays on our summit day, and when we reached Uhuru Peak the guides brought out a cake that they had carried the entire way up as a surprise. This highlights the amazing care that Habari takes in providing a world class experience climbing Kili, and we came as clients, however we left as friends. I would have no reservation in recommending Stan and the rest of the Habari team to friends, family and anyone that will listen. Habari team, never lose!!

Stan and his team were just the absolute best. Our guides (Michael, Abdi, Benson and Jackson) were so caring and well versed with the routes. Each and everyone of the team members including the porters and servers were just incredibly nice and polite and we felt like family to the team. From day 1 till we finished the trek, they prioritized our health and safety to ensure we summitted successfully. The summit night can be challenging but all the guys were right next to us all communicating the change in weather patterns and what to expect as we continued gaining more altitude towards the summit. We were served fresh food in every meal which was delicious and the guides would come in to do the briefing every night to update us what to expect the upcoming day in terms of the weather, terrain, elevation and how the altitude might impact us. I highly recommend Stan and Habari adventures and will definitely be going back soon to do more treks with them. I wouldn't trust my life with anyone else other than this team.

Habari Adventures: I know from this group that there are a number of companies that do a great job. I researched, received several quotes then took great guidance from this group, THANK YOU!!! One reason international companies are more expensive is because they are not local. Habari is local and they have also established the Habari Foundation to help the Moshi community. A great business leader is only such because they have a great team. Stan did a great job supporting and communicating with me, even delaying our arrival by 10 days due to a family emergency. As good as Stan is, his team is even better which is a testament to his business skills. 5 star service, team spirit, very attentive, very good food considering the conditions and a true TEAM. Most team crews would walk solo or in small numbers together. I always saw our Habari team mostly walk together as a TEAM. Their kindness and positive spirit helped make our trek that much more fun. If you want a seamless excellent trip that is perfectly coordinated from start to finish, look no further than this company. Locally owned and operated, Stan runs a CLASS ACT. He and Carolyn answered all of my questions (and there were many). We did the 8 day Lemosho route and had a wonderful experience. All meals cooked from scratch. Hot lunches and dinners everyday. Food was great. Tents/ sleeping mats and sleeping bags are in great condition. Our guides Joseph/Mudi were awesome. Went on Safari for 4 days afterwards. We camped in the Serengeti which was a unique experience especially to realize that there are no fences separating us from the lions/ cape buffalo /hyenas and elephants. This is a great and reliable company to work with.

Habari Adventure, I could never write in words the adventure and experience provided by all, the porters, the guides and ofcause Stan. From start to end, I couldn't recommend them more. With all the health checks and equipment checks in place. The best chef on the mountain there was nothing to fault. With a clear but firm plan of action daily to the informative info of plants and our surroundings to keep us safe. If you are planning anything within Tanzania they will accommodate you and make it possible. I will definitely be back.

I am writing this review with my grateful heart. Stage 0 - Research I compared several companies when I decided to go with Mt. Kili climbing. Excellent review/prompt responses/fair price/local company led me to choose Habari over other companies. Stan (Habari owner) was very responsive and helpful, and I even had a Whatsapp call with him which gave me confidence to go with them. Stage 1 - Preparation I had about four months to prepare for the trek. I mainly focus on good nutrition, weekend hikes as much as possible, and regular yoga/walking. Nothing hardcore! I intended to arrive in Tanzania with good energy and a healthy body. Packing tips: headlamp, poncho, and water bottles (3 litres) are a must! I missed these and managed to rent them from Habari. Stage 2 - Trek!! Lemosho Route 7 Days I arrived in Moshi the day before the trek and had the mountain guide brief me and check my packing items. The team: Three of us (all solo female trekkers) had 12 crew members, including two mountain guides (Abdi and Oscar), a cook, a server, and porters. The entire team went above and beyond; their genuine smile, hard work, and kindness made me feel humble and grateful. The porter's job is the most demanding I've ever watched with my eyes, and I had a tearful moment when I saw them trekking uphill or on slippery terrains. They are real heroes. Please pack lightly - less is more. Food: it was beyond my expectations. We were always fed with nutritious, delicious and plentiful food. Camping: I am a beginner camper and was nervous about six nights camping & toilet before joining. Don't worry, the team set them up nicely, and I found a portable toilet nice. Trek: I loved the scenery. The first five days are manageable; the most challenging day is day 6, the summit day. We started the trek at 11 pm and reached the summit around 6:20 am. So basically, it is about walking through the dark and cold night. It wouldn't be possible without amazing mountain guides and summit porters, and I'm thankful for them. So you get an idea - I'm 43 years old, not athletic, but just enjoying hiking and yoga. I have never done such a high mountain before, and I can share the encouragement: "You can do it with willpower and good energy". On the summit day, I found climbing down was harder than climbing up. Bring energy bars/gels, candies, etc., to keep you going. Stage 3 - Descending and recovery It felt surreal that I made it to the summit (on New Year's Day, which was extra special). Again, I thanked the entire team, fellow trekkers, and my feet and heart. Would I do this again? Yes! I became a fan of Habari and wish the best to the entire team. I will keep recommending Habari. Amazing trip! The views were stunning, the habari team was welcoming and made sure they made it as comfortable as possible for a summit attempt. Without the habari team, I would not have been able to summit. This service offered by Habari well exceed my expectations!

I used Habari Adventure to book and arrange my solo trip up Mount Kilimanjaro. As a nervous climber and a 58 year old diabetic, I was rather nervous about the whole thing but I had an amazing experience and that is predominantly because of the whole Habari team led by the guide Michael. I did the 8-day Lemosho trek which was a good choice to acclimatize as much as possible and because of the stunning scenery. We were lucky with the weather - it only rained on the very last day down and otherwise we were trekking above the cloud level, giving greats views everywhere. Food was really good and the porters were brilliant - how do those guys do that?? Summit night was really hard for me as I suffered from altitude sickness from about 5500m but my guide helped and encouraged me the whole way, until I finally made it. Thanks guys, could not have done it without you. Soon I will come back for safari. I recommend Habari adventure to anyone looking for an amazing experience in Tanzania.

We had an incredible time with Habari adventure! We were three friends travelling together and did two different experiences with Habari adventure: 8 days Mt Kilimanjaro Lemosho climb and 6 days safari. Both experiences were amazing and we could not praise Habari adventure enough, from the responsive administration and operations team, to our Kilimannjro and safari guides with all Habari team, everything was very organized, well-prepared, and well-executed! We never had to worry. During our climb, we felt super safe and taken care of by the team. The meals were deliciously prepared by the chef and I still crave for the soups that Jimmy makes on the mountain. We rented a private toilet and it was well worth the cost as it is comfortable and private, and our dedicated toilet attendant cleans the toilet multiple times a day. All three of us were successful in summitting and we could not have done it without the biggest support and encouragement of our 2 guides (Abdi and Evans) and the rest of the team. The safari was a surreal experience and we loved Michael fun and energetic spirit. He was super knowledgeable about Tanzanian history and culture as well as nature and habitat. Further, Michael was very in tune with various sightings, and as a result, we got to see so many animals - including the Big 5 and even four different kills (including a live kill). It was out of this world! The tour was well put together with an amazing guide and itinerary. We really appreciate being able to learn about the different tribes such as Chagga, Hadzabe, Datoga, and Masai as well as visit their villages. It was a great way to experience Tanzania! I definitely recommend Habari adventure to anyone looking for Kilimanjaro and safari experience.

My friend and I did a 8-days lemosho route with habari adventures. The experience with them was incredible. Right from the booking of this trip several months in advance till the day after wiry summit, everything was looked after carefully. Stan, the owner of this company was prompt in responding to all our questions and was accommodating to all our requests. The crew we got was terrific. Our guides Evance and Mudy were knowledgeable and helped us extensively throughout the hike. Our Chef Remy made delicious food everyday :) The summit night was brutal and I had a lot of mountain sickness. But we made it to the top only because of proper planning of our guides who decided to get extra help (2 more porters - Juma and Humphrey). All in all it was a remarkable experience. We most definitely recommend this company for Kilimanjaro adventures.

We climbed Kilimanjaro with Habari Adventure in September 2023 via Lemosho Route 8 days and I can absolutely recommend them. The communication via email when we were booking the climb and clarifying details worked very well. When we arrived, everything went according to plan. The guides were great - very friendly and helpful. Our head guide Leon and his whole team of guides, cooks and porters was very well organised and everybody was super friendly. Guides told us every evening what we can expect the following day. During the climb they made sure that we were ok and that we did not miss the views, flora and wildlife, that we would have never noticed otherwise. The daily fresh food was very good, lunches and dinners surprisingly variable and there was plenty of it. We also had fresh fruit and vegetables every day. Before the cooks received fresh supplies (in the middle of the trip) they consulted our preferences with us. The whole team did really everything they could to ensure that we made it to the top, including taking our day backpacks during the summit day if needed - and we (all 7 of us) made it :). Thank you Habari Team. I recommend this local company to anyone looking for the best and amazing trip.

I did the Kilimanjaro trek with my 15 year old daughter. From the start, Habari Adventures made it a seamless and amazing experience. Stan answered all the numerous questions I had, did the booking and gave me all the info needed. Our team included 9 gentlemen and a day or two into the trip I already felt like they were my newly found brothers. They worked together to ensure my daughter and I have an experience of a lifetime. The food was amazing! My daughter kept saying it was better than any fancy restaurant he ever ate at. When we were tired, our guides (Evans & Tony) were carrying our day packs. On a hard terrain, they held our hands. The porters were coming to meet us and help each day by the end of the hike. Every member of the team had such a positive attitude! Evans signed up to be my Swahili teacher and I enjoyed practicing it with the team. We joked, we danced, we sang songs, we played cards and of course we made it to Uhuru Peak! I signed up to make my dream of climbing Kilimanjaro. This 'dream team' not only made it come true, they delivered unforgettable and most amazing experience all the way! We summitted with Habari via the 8-day Lemosho route in October 2023. They also organised a 5-day safari for us through the Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorongoro national parks. I cannot praise Habari enough and, if TripAdvisor gave more than 5 stars as an option, I would gladly do so. They were fantastic from the initial contact I had with Stan (answering all my questions - there were lots - very promptly and providing a wealth of information) right the way through to our trekking team led by the awesome Michael and Yusto as our guides. We could not have done the climb without the whole team and they went way, way above and beyond our expectations. Just brilliant. We chose Habari because they are competitively priced, look after their porters through the KPAP scheme, and put some of their profits back into improving lives in their local community through their Habari Foundation. The safari was wonderful too. Our guide, another Michael, was incredibly knowledgeable - knowing exactly where to go so that we were able to see everything we wanted to (including a very illusive Rhino!) Just the most amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience with the most amazing people. I honestly cannot find fault in what they did for us. Habari Team, One Dream! Non-stop, to the top! Thank you.

The experience was so amazing and we could not praise Habari Adventure enough, from the first day we arrived at Kilimanjaro Airport Habari Adventure arranged a driver Joe, to pick us up and we were well prepared for the climb. During our climb, we felt super safe and taken care of by the team. The meals were deliciously prepared by the chef and I still crave for the soups that Justine makes on the mountain. We rented a private toilet and it was well worth the cost as it is comfortable and private, and our dedicated toilet attendant (Aron) cleans the toilet multiple times a day. The porters were super humans in every sense – carrying our equipment, food, and setting up our tents at every stop. We had excellent food and support. Caroline assembled a well-experienced team that was more like family than anything else. We loved how they sang to us as we assembled for our last morning’s hike out of the park. Both of us were successful in summiting and we could not have done it without Tony, Evance, and the rest of the team. If you have never seen Africa or climbed Kilimanjaro, go with Habari Adventure its team and care is beyond compare.
