Great charter. We had a blast and my 9 year old son absolutely loved it. Our captain was great. I would recomend them to everyone!

Had a great time fishing with Oasis Charters. Everything was top notch from JoAnn picking us up at the cruise dock to the great day of fishing with Hunter. I highly recommend.

Everything was GREAT. Before we ever got off our ship (we were on a cruise) to take the charter, the communication was excellent. The trip from the port to their marina was about 20 minutes or so. The marina was very nice. It had a place to grab a quick bite, a bathroom and a nice shop. We were introduced to our captain, Capt. Drew. He was great. The boat was clean, safe and appeared dependable. The 1/2 day trip was fine as the fishing grounds weren't far away. They used Shimano and Penn Reels that appeared to be maintained properly. Their lures were clean and hooks were sharp. They didn't look to cut corners anywhere to save a few dollars. Capt. Drew was great, not only was he experienced and knew where the fish would be, but he was very knowledgeable about the surrounding land and area and at times acted like a tour guide. Yes, we caught fish; actually we limited out pretty quickly. I would highly recommend OASIS Alaska Charters...and this is coming from an Actual Charter Captain myself!

We had a blast with Captain Murray! The shuttle picked us up at the ship and delivered us to the marina. We were on our way with Captain Murray pretty quickly. They bought us beer- per our request (we emailed them a few days before). We headed out in the boat for 4 hours of fishing. We caught two nice halibut and a bunch of other fish! Such a great day. Oh, and it poured rain almost the whole time. My husband's shirts were so wet he took them off. We still had so much fun. Thanks Oasis and Captain Murray. Great, great time! Highly recommend!!

We had an absolute blast with Captain Hunter on our 4 hour halibut trip!! My husband and I caught over 30 fish in 4 hours. We caught a variety of fish including: coho, pink salmon, king salmon, chum, and halibut. Our lines were busy the entire time on the water. We were so fortunate to have a calm and hard working guide provide us with the best experience. Thank you so much for making this one of the highlights of our vacation!!! They also filet and ship home. We sailed on a cruise and booked this ourselves. They were timely with pickup and drop off and super friendly too. If you are debating whether or not to book this trip, it’s a definite yes!! 🐟🐟🐟

Capt. Hunter was awesome, we had so much fun!! My wife does not fish much but he made it very very easy for her to land some nice fish! Hats off to Hunter thank you soo much for a great time!

our trip was fantastic. From pick up off ship our driver told us all about the town. we saw a bunch of bald eagles along the way. Our captain Hunter put us right on the fish. My wife and I had 6 halibut in less than an hour but since we could only keep one each he took us to another spot. There we jigged and caught Ling cod.After that we trolled and caught king salmon ang one Cohoes. 4hours of action and had fish shipped to arrive home when we get there. Highly recommend oasis charters!

Wonderful day Halibut fishing with Oasis at Ketchikan. The weather was very pleasant as all 6 of us caught a Halibut ranging from 25lbs to 15lbs. Had them processed and shipped back home...tasty! Our Captain was very attentive and knew how to dialogue with our group...fun times. Make sure to say hi to Steve, the bald eagle. Saw a dozen whales and lots of eagles. They picked us up at the port and returned us to Creek Street. Highly recommend...and much less expensive than going through Princess.

Captain Murray was awesome! We caught our limit on Halibut, then caught some salmon. An eagle hovered above our boat and we were able to get some great photos. We signed up for the shuttle and they picked us up at our cruise ship. Any time I had questions, I was able to send them a text and they got right back to me.

We had a great time with Oasis fishing charters. We ended up with 3 Halibut. Guide was good and the whales gave us quite the show. It was a great experience.

Top Notch people, top Notch fishing. We were running late on our cruise ship because somebody on the ship needed to be airlifted to a hospital. Thankfully the crew over at Oasis was alerted, and were extremely accommodating to our needs. We were promptly picked up at the port, and were sent out with a great captain that put us on the fish! Awesome day, would highly recommend Oasis! We will be back and will book them again!

Booked a halibut fishing charter for a port of call during a cruise trip. The shuttle was prompt, clean, and fast and we were on the boat minutes after our arrival. Captain was friendly and knowledgeable and had us on the fish we were looking for. As an added bonus he helped us spot the whales and eagles in the area. Great trip with Oasis!

I recently went on a fishing tour with Oasis Alaska Charters and it was an incredible experience. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the area and provided us with all the necessary equipment and instructions to make our fishing trip a success. The shuttle service was also excellent, making it easy to get to the fishing spot without any hassle. During the tour, we were lucky enough to catch 3 halibut, which was beyond our expectations. The guide from Oasis Alaska Charters was super attentive and made sure we had a great time on the water. He was patient and helpful, answering all our questions and offering tips on how to improve our fishing techniques. Overall, I had a fantastic time on this tour and would highly recommend Oasis Alaska Charters to anyone looking for a fun and memorable fishing adventure. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the experience of catching our own fish was truly unforgettable.

Super fun and easy. Oasis Alaska was very organised and professional from the beginning to the end. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to go fishing in Ketchikan. I was a little concerned about doing an excursion that was not associated with the cruise we were on, but this was our favorite activity of our cruise trip! Oasis Alaska was waiting for us when we got off the ship (I received an email and text telling me he was there) in a big white van with the Oasis logo on the side. We arrived about 30 minutes early, and got right on the boat early. Captain Murray took us right to a spot and we were fishing within 20 minutes. We started catching fish right away and continued to catch a variety of fish throughout the entire trip. After we got back to the dock, the processing was also very easy. They got us back to the cruise ship with time to spare.

Hunter went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable fishing trip. He is awesome! We had the best time of our life. Thank you Hunter!

My daughter and I had the pleasure of fishing with Oasis in early August 2022 for Halibut and Salmon. We selected a four-hour tour as we were on an Alaskan cruise. We decided to select them as our tour guide as I believe they were the only charter offering private tours. Most of the companies combine groups and as much as I love meeting new people, the thought of sharing a boat with others didn’t interest me at all. As we were on an Alaskan cruise, we reached out to Mark and JoAnn in early March and booked ahead of time to ensure we had a spot. They were very responsive and answered our questions in a timely manner and the process of making the deposit was easy. On the day of the fishing trip, one of the owners, Mark, picked us up at the cruise port, he was on time and my daughter was excited to be graced with the presence of their dogs for the 25-minute trip to the dock. The cost of the transportation was added to the price of the tour which is standard practice. Upon arrival at the dock, I was introduced to our Captain named Hunter. He advised that I would require a fishing license for the trip so I proceeded to purchase one for $15 dollars in the shop near the dock. While I was heading back to the dock to proceed on our exciting adventure, Hunter and my daughter were fishing off the dock as there was a large school of pink salmon right beside the boat (at this point I got excited as I knew the day would be fruitful). Hunter was a great guide and amazing with my 8-year-old daughter. He was knowledgeable, patient, and overall the best Captain I have ever had the experience of deep sea fishing with. On the boat, he offered us some snacks and drinks. If you are heading out for a tour, I would recommend bringing some food onboard, just in case you do get hungry . Originally, we were brought out to fish solely for Halibut, but after hearing how well the previous group did on their morning tour we opted to fish for both Halibut and Salmon. One should remember that during these tours you’re not guaranteed to catch mass quantities of fish, so manage your expectations accordingly . Luckily, my daughter and I landed 4 Halibut, 22 pink salmon, and a Coho. In addition, I would say that we had over 20 fish that broke off the line. What an incredible experience for myself and my daughter. I was also surprised at how many double headers we had during our trip. I do wish my daughter was a bit stronger as she had a very difficult time reeling in some of the fish. Regardless, Hunter and I tried our best to make it feel like she was doing most of the work. Man, my forearms were sore the next day (a nice problem to have). To be honest, I don’t think I could have had a better day on the water. The fish were biting, the weather was great and our guide Hunter was AMAZING! If you’re looking to book a tour don’t hesitate to book with Oasis (they exceeded my expectations). They’re a well-run family company that cares for their client’s experience. I hope that I have the opportunity to share more memories with Oasis if I ever travel back to Ketchikan.

Perfect trip. Drew and Joann were amazing and very accommodating. The fishing system was down at the state level and Joann drove us to get the license. Drew was our captain and we caught our limit of halibut in about two hours. This left time for salmon fishing and we caught seven salmon (6 pink and a coho). This was in a four hour trip. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We had the absolute best day with Capt. Hunter out fishing for halibut. It was very relaxing, fun and successful. We caught several halibut as well as a Ling Cod which is very rare. Hunter was very easygoing and accommodating. The owner, Mark, picked us up and dropped us back off at our cruise ship pier for a very smooth experience. We highly recommend Oasis for a great fishing experience.

Our half-day charter was excellent. Oasis Alaska Charters was on time to pick us up, very communicative, friendly and our captain did all he could to put us on halibut. And that he did! We caught three nice size halibut and a pink salmon. We had a great time and appreciate the service. We definitely recommend them. A bonus is they can filet and ship your catch at the marina. Overall, we had a great time.

The whole experience was incredible, Hunter our captain was amazing and very professional at everything he did.
