Had a great time in Kilim Geopark, Azri was a excellent and knowledgable host. The kayak tour was just the right level of effort and we were able to see the eagles and a number of other animals.

Azir Aziz and the mangrove tour group were amazing! Kayaking through the Kilim GeoForest was something akin to paradise. We were so fortunate that Azir was able to show us a new route that took us to the Eagle feeding spot, through the Mangroves to see colourful crabs, and past the curious macaque monkeys (we even saw a sleeping viper), as well as a cave. It was a beautiful day out, and it is 100% worth doing! We would totally recommend Azir, as he goes above and beyond for your group. Azir made us feel so welcome and well looked after. He is a very experienced guide with excellent facts and knowledge of the area. To top it off he ensured that we got to spend some time at a stunning beach and then got home safely; thank you Nadia. A day to remember!

Azri is a very informative and knowledgeable guide. He took us into the mangroves, which was fun and educational. We met some great people from interesting backgrounds. The kayaking is fun but be prepared to put some effort in, to gain your best experience. I left some belongings behind and he got them back to me, with no issues. A challenging but rewarding experience and I would highly recommend this mangrove trip

AZRI AZIZ was a fantastic tour guide and he seems to be the type of person that makes sure everyone has a great time. His itinerary is packed with adventure and we were delighted to discover things that weren't on the list as well. He's also a great photographer, Thanks!

Long story short we wasted over two hours waiting around for our tour guide before leaving the Geoforest (aka national park) and going back to our hotel due to lack of communication and making us wait around for his lack of planning. At best its bad communication to the customer at worst this is just a scam. Refused to return our money so this was a complete waste. Long version We chose the 8 am hotel pick up. We were ready at 8 am and got a WhatsApp message at 8 that the driver would pick us up at 8:30 but we had to front the cash for the driver and he would pay us back. We didn't have the cash for that so then it became he would try to get us a Grab (Uber). Grab got us at 8:40 and brought us to the Geoforest by 9 am. Driver then informed us that Azri would meet us in the food court of the Geoforest by 9:30 am. By 10 am we searched around and tether to someone for Wi-Fi, had no messages from Azri so we called a Grab and headed by to our hotel around 10:15 am. I informed him we would no longer be waiting and we were leaving. THEN he started messaging us that he was waiting on the pier (not the food court where we were told to meet) and that since the tide was still low there was plenty of time to turn back and meet him still. So if the tide was low and we seemingly weren't going to be going out in the morning why make us be ready by 8 am? It seemed he knew we weren't going out in the morning and took his time to get there but left us in the dark to wait until he decided to show up. Refused to refund us and blamed us that we abandoned the group. I don't feel that waiting around for 2 hours for your tour guide to show up is abandoning but he does. So let that be a warning. There are plenty of other tours to take in the Geoforest that we would have chosen had we done this over.

had a super good experience with Azri. He showed us the most beautiful places with a lot of good information about the places he showed. funny, sweet travel guide who took a lot of beautiful photos of us. he really took the time and effort for us and we will never forget him. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a travel guide!

Thanks Azri, it was a wonderfull trip. He is a very friendly guy, gave a lot of information, organized very well a non-crowded route through the forest and let us time enough to dig in into the beautiful mangrove world. We could see bats in the cave, one-hand-crabs, monkeys, eagles quite near, a viper, a.s.o. and lots of beautiful plants. The fishfarm where we took our lunch is also interesting to see. We strongly recommend to take a tour with Azri - you will not be disappointed! Good luck and thanks again Azri!

Azri took us to the Batcave, fishfarm and kayaking. Very friendly, attentative and professional. Although the rain was unexpected he guided us safely through the mangroves and the river. He took the time to make pictures and video’s of us during this tour and later even made a reels on my Instagram. Thanks to Azri we have had a ‘going beyond expectation’ experience. Carlos & Mariska

Picked up from our hotel by Azri, great comms before pickup and very friendly and informative drive to the start point, short boat ride to bat cave, not only bats but really unusual stalagtite formations and tiny bees nesting outside. Off to fish farm to see different species of fish farmed there with an opportunity to feed them. Then, for us at least, the main event... kayaking through the mangroves on a 2 person kayak. Azri explained basics and off we went, fantastic. Through the mangroves back to the main channel to see the Sea eagles and Kites feeding. More mangroves and wild life (monkeys that dive for crabs!) and monitor lizards before reaching fish farm once again for some basic but good lunch (we could have opted for fresh fish as optional extra if we'd wanted) All in all, a great trip, Azri was brilliant and even produced an Instagram video of our day. Thanks Azri.

I had an incredible mangrove kayak excursion in Langkawi with Azri! The experience started with a visit to the mesmerizing bat cave, followed by an unforgettable kayak journey through the mangroves. Azri communicated well prior to picking us up, advising of the later start. But otherwise was punctual to his communicated time. He was very knowledgeable and took time to explain things in detail from both our bat cave and mangrove tour. Kayaking through the mangroves was a fun adventure, a bit tricky and tiring but we all enjoyed it. The boat ride to and from the kayaking point was fun too. It was nice having lunch included as we definitely need the refuel after. Would have been nice to have a little bit of the seafood on offer at the seafood restaurant we stopped off included, but understand given the extra cost… look forward to seeing Azri again on our next tour in Langkawi…

I need to appreciate AZRI who helped me arrange this mangrove kayaking for myself only. It’s always tricky for a solo traveller to find activities that requires minimum 2 adults. AZRI is a nice tour guide with full knowledge of local sites, culture and of course humour and ability to hold good conversations. This mangrove kayaking trip takes you to bat caves first and a short walk around local plants. A fish farm is waiting for you where you are close to some local sea fishes and do some feeding. This is also where you have your lunch later. This kayaking trip lasts like 1 hrs or so and your maintenance and stamina is the key. Sometimes the rain just comes nowhere and it doesn’t bother at all, which is more like rainforest adventure. I’m glad I have a good chance to take control of my own trip further and closer to mangrove forests and local habits for varies of wildlife. Highly recommended!

We loved that the tour includes not only mangrove kayaking but also exploring the bat caves(watching some cute monkeys too) and fish farm. The view was amazing/peaceful and we were so happy getting away from hustle and bustle of the big city. Azri was such a nice guy and he told us so much about the beauty of this island in a short period of time. I highly recommend his tour and I’d definitely come back to Langkawi and join his tour again!

My wife and I did the kayaking tour and we can’t recommend it enough! Azri was a great guide, so friendly and knowledgeable of the area (you know you have a good guide when people from other tours follow to listen in!). Azri took so many amazing photos and videos of us as well! A brilliant experience and a definite highlight of our trip to Langkawi!
