Wow! What an amazing adventure. We had the best experience starting with the first minute we arrived. The staff were extremely friendly. Our kayaking guide, Pacco (sorry if I spelled it incorrectly) was outstanding, to say the least! He was funny, friendly, so knowledgeable and took us inside 3 caves, 2 were really dark and narrow. This was a very well guided kayaking tour to the Benagil Caves. The guide gave clear instructions and he shared a lot of his knowledge about the caves. It was overall an amazing experience.

Poco was so sweet and taught us about the cave! Never felt rushed or unsafe. Had a great time at the cave and kayaking around other structures afterwards. The water was cold but we never felt cold in our kayaks even at an early time slot. Very fun!

Received an email cancelling our trip due to bad weather and asking if I wanted a refund or to reschedule our trip. I asked for a refund (twice). After 2.5 weeks, I have not received a reply or a refund.

We booked the 08:00 tour that had to be changed to 08:30 but we were called and informed of this well ahead of time. The tour itself was excellent, plenty of time allocated to spend in the cave with very few people. Francisco was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, felt safe throughout - overall excellent experience.

It was such an unforgettable amazing experience. I had a great time,and our guide was super helpful, and professional. The guided kayak tour is very well organized, small group so you enjoy it better, and staff there are very nice. I LOVED it!!!!!!

My dad and I had an amazing experience on the Benagil Cave Kayak tour with Secret Algarve. We went on the 9:30 AM tour and definitely recommend going on the earliest time slot you can. After an intro to kayaking and making sure everyone had life jackets, we walked the few steps to the beach. Benagil Cave was super close by by kayak and we also saw some other smaller caves and beaches along the coast. Definitely a can’t miss experience!

The kayak trip was awesome! Lasted about 2.5 hours and got to kayak to the Benagil cave along with another nearby cave afterwards. Seeing the cliffs from the water was something I won’t forget! The group was around 12 in total, and my husband and I shared a tandem kayak. Our guide Francisco was great! Very knowledge and funny. I would definitely recommend this company if you want to really explore the Benagil Cave!

We scheduled the 9:30AM tour on a Tuesday. It was fabulous. We had wonderful weather and the water was very calm. Fransisco was our guide and he was terrific. Our accommodation was within walking distance of the kayak meeting point and the beach so that made it even better. If you are looking for a kayak tour to the Benagil caves, you can not go wrong with this company!

I booked a kayak trip for three and disclosed within the booking ahead of time that one person on the booking was pregnant. Upon arrival we were told the pregnant person was not allowed to join the trip and that we would not be given a refund for that person because we didn't let them know ahead of time. This is simply not true and despite three attempts to get in contact with the company to request a refund they have ignored all contact. Very disappointing.

Great experience kayaking along the beautiful coast. Fun guide Poco told us also some interesting stories and brought us into beautiful caves. Would recommend! Only feedback would be that the 20 min stay at the Benagil cave was a bit too long for me. I am really happy we went kayakking instead of taking a motor boat since its a much more immerse experience, no loud sounds and much better for the preservation of the cave. Thank you very much!

This was an amazing experience and were able to get onto the shore (read more below)! The kayak to the cave is about less than 300 meters from the launch point - not physically demanding whatsoever. I recommend going at 7:30am for a better chance of there being less people in your pictures. Also, you should note that before booking this experience, to keep up with updates to the Portugal's Court decision as to whether they decide to close accessibility down due to the large boat getting wedged in one of the arches of the cave back in 2023. Highly recommend reach out to one of the staff for confirmation on this so you don't have any bad surprises.

Amazing trip, the guide is friendly and knowledgeable, we stopped by a few caves, and spent around 30 mins on the beach in the Bengail cave, definitely recommended!

Super fun tour got to go through caves you couldn’t access by boat. Would totally recommend! Guides were great and the group was small enough to make it easier.

This was a safe and echo experience with a careful, concise and thorough safety brief from Zac before we left for the beach We were looked after well by team and our guide ‘Poco’ was alert, knowledgeable and fun Totally recommend this trip ( check weather as rough seas means unsafe to kayak) we are in our sixties and had a fantastic time on this activity in the stunningly beautiful Benagil caves.

Unreal experience! Was cool to be able to go in the Benagil cave. I feel the guide Francisco gave us a great experience and kept us away from the other crowded tour groups.

Safety was the #1 priority for “Secret Kayaks” These young men work hard to bring everyone safety into the cave and back out. Also got a wee history of the caves!
