My initial contact with SurfIt was ok. Maybe my expectations were too high, maybe they were too busy. I booked anyway. SO glad I did. Obviously, no one can "guarantee" wildlife sightings, but Aaron knew what he was doing, what to look for, and boy did we hit the manatee jackpot. The photos don't do our experience justice. As far as the outfit goes, they did a nice job. The kayaks and SUPs looked to be in good shape, dry bags were offered and we were on our way. But the reality is, I came for one thing and got it in spades.

Enjoy our tour with Aaron. He was a knowledgeable, easy going guide. We saw some wild life and the secret beach was beautiful.

Had an amazing encounter with the manatees. Our guide was fun & Secret beach was breathtaking! We got some really cool video footage of a manatee swimming right under our kayak. Lots of picture opportunities. This is easy for all levels of kayaker.

Our guide, Aaron, was very helpful and efficient. It was a large group and a very windy day and I thought he managed everything very well. The only negative, besides the wind, was that we only went through one small mangrove tunnel. Otherwise we were just kayaking in lagoons to a beach (which was beautiful). I have had much more interesting experiences kayaking the mangroves before.

Tim our tour guide was fun and engaging! Loved the views of mangroves and explanations of wild life and old shark reserve. Private beach was beautiful, wished I’d brought a cooler with adult beverages to enjoy a cold one while there. Highly recommend. This tour was one of my top favorite days of my 10 day vacation in the Port Charolette/Sarasota area. 5 stars!

Seeing the manatees was awesome. The guide respected them and told us to not get to close but they swam under our kayaks and chose to come close to us…think they were curious! Without the manatees might have been boring as the kayaking was very slow so we didn’t get to spend more then 5 minutes on the beach. They may want to do a kids group and others

Aaron was enthusiastic and informative and we were able to see both manatees and dolphins! Great time frame and was a neat experience

Bad experience, we were there early and the vendor wasnt there we asked other vendors if they’ve seen them they all said they havent seen them today at all. I ended up going with another kyaking service and requested a refund online. They refused to send a refund knowing all this. Dont waste your time booking with these guys.

Tim was an excellent tour guide! We were able to see several manatees on the tour. Saw several nesting birds as well. Towards the end of the trip we arrived to a remote beach. Can only arrive by boat where we found a large amount of sea shells! My kids really enjoyed collecting them! Will definitely come back!

Sawyer was an excellent guide. Great knowledge of the local wildlife and super helpful. He was so kind helping my 74 yo Mum who was struggling. It was a great activity and we would totally recommend it.

We had a wonderful kayak trip exploring mangroves and visiting a beautiful beach. Our guide Sophia was very informative and made the trip extra special with her many insights. Highly recommended!

Sophie was an excellent guide ! She was very knowledgeable and fun! We went to a cute hidden beach that was BEAUTIFUL! It had Caribbean vibes ! The water was so blue ! 10/10 recommend ! We didn’t get to see any manatee, the water gets to cold for them in the winter and they swim further south so that was a bummer but we he entire experience was definitely worth it!

We had a great tour of the mangroves and visit to the beautiful hidden beach! Saw a snowy egret, an osprey nest with babies, and lots of fish. Aaron was a very good guide. Thank you!

The stop at the hidden beach and a bit of time to play in the Gulf waves was so much fun. Mostly getting into the natural mangrove caves was so cool! Our tour guide was great and made the whole thing fun. I kayak a lot at home and this was a great way to explore a new area when I don’t have my own kayak in tow! Very reasonable pricing. Thanks!

Tim was a great tour guide. We paddled through the mangroves and he was very knowledgeable and shared great information. We then went to the shark tank and on to the beach. Was very enjoyable and would definitely recommend.
