Shane and Neil are amazing! Super patient and fun, they really made us feel comfortable and part of the community in addition to teaching us to surf and helping us find sea turtles. Can't recommend this personal experience highly enough.

This was the best thing I did on my very first visit to Hawaii. Shane is a knowledgeable and patient teacher. Let’s just say I am not a natural surfer, but he helped me to get up and catch those waves 😂 The snorkeling was also beautiful. Sea turtles were poking their heads up and swimming beside us. I will recommend this adventure to anyone visiting Oahu.

We booked some surfing lessons and kayaking as part of my birthday celebration. We had a great time. We basically had one-on-one attention. These guys are great to work with. Patient, responsive, great feedback during our surfing lessons. We felt safe the whole time. Equipment was good. And we had the option to buy photos from our experience. If we return to Honolulu, we will book with them again.

Shane and Captain Neil were kind and wonderful instructors. I was worried of running a bit late but they were kind and understandable. When you run into people who are passionate about what they do it is truly a blessing. My wife and I had an unforgettable time with them and enjoyed the beautiful day. Enthusiastic and passionate about what they do, they gladly assessed our skill level for all three activities before helping us to thoroughly enjoy the adventure! Had not attempted surfing in more than 10 years (and not getting any younger), Shane gave great instruction and feedback…the result being able to ride a few waves which was lots of fun. My wife floated face to face with the biggest turtle either of us had ever seen!! The guys were very flexible with the amount of time we spent on each activity and made us feel special! Would highly recommend for a fun time on the water.

The brothers Shane and Captain Neil are exceptionally talented surf instructors. You can embark on this fun adventure for the surfing instruction alone because they are that good, but kayaking to snorkel with turtles as a delightful bonus!

Shane and Captain Neil were very experienced teachers who got me and my friend with no experience to surf within 10 minutes! They were very clear and patient when teaching us and we felt comfortable the whole time. We got to surf really good waves and really enjoyed our experience, definitely recommend :)

I scheduled a one-on-one surf lesson for my son and for my husband to go with him. Shane was super communicative before we even got to the island and we chatted and got info before the boys went out. I didn’t hear anything until after the lesson when my so and husband got back and boy were they pumped!!! My son is 6 and he had the Best time with Shane and Neil. Waikiki is the best beach for beginners and the boys were so relaxed with the conditions and the area- they even saw a couple turtles! Shane said they had another opening while we were there and we jumped at the chance to all go out. I went out on the kayak with my 4yo daughter to take pictures of them surfing and the boys got to work on their skills again. My son even got to go by himself a couple times! Besides being great teachers- Shane and Neil are sweet as can be and relaxing and accommodating. 10 out of 10 recommend 💫🤙🏼

Shane & Neil were excellent guides! We launched from the beautiful Waikiki area. They both are very knowledgeable at techniques and where to go, guiding the group to a short yet energetic location. Once there we put our masks and snorkels on and began seeing so many beautiful fish of the Island. And an added plus was seeing not just one turtle, but a few!! It was a fantastic time and created an endearing memory. Thank you, Shane and Neal!!

Shane and Captain Neil were amazing teachers. They were knowledgeable, patient, and overall great people. We went with zero experience with surfing but after 10-15 minutes with them me and my girlfriend had it down and we went and rode some waves. We went snorting and kayaking after, we saw turtles, and schools of fishes. Amazing time, definitely will do again if we’re back in Honolulu. I highly recommend them!

I took the tour by myself and it was so nice! I really enjoy everything. The staff was really nice and patience with the surf and the snorkeling. After this experience I really want to do more surf!

We highly recommend this for anyone visiting Waikiki! Shane and Captain Neil did an excellent job teaching and guiding us through the different activities. They surfed right alongside us on the waves and always prioritized our safety. We saw plenty of fish and sea turtles as well! It ended with a beautiful sunset by the beach. Overall this was super fun and we’d 100% do it again!

The most perfect adventure! Me and my wife came to Oahu for the first part of our honeymoon and having dreamt of surfing in Hawaii for many years; we booked Shane after looking through his amazing reviews and he certainly lived up to expectations. In fact, he surpassed them more than we could ever say. Shane prefers taking out smaller groups and we were so lucky it was only the two of us that day, as it was essentially a 1-on-1 surf lesson. Shane kindly picked us up from our hotel and took us down to the beach where we got ready for our first adventure, kayaking and snorkelling. Because it was just the two of us (plus Shane and Kamo(?) sorry for the spelling) we were able to see a sea turtle up close as well as lots of tropical fish who weren't frightened off by the bigger boats. We then returned to the cove for our surfing lesson. We were able to cover the basics before going out onto the ocean and it was perfect. We were joined by Kaylenn who took the most phenomenal photos and videos and it was worth every penny. As someone who struggled to stand up before on a surfboard in England, I stood up every single time with Shane's expertise, as he was by my side the whole time on the water, so I felt confident in what he'd taught me. My wife had some previous experience surfing, but felt so at ease as Shane helped us choose the best waves to get the most out of our time on the water. If you're looking for a small, intimate group to connect with Hawaiian culture and surf with an experienced professional, then look no further. If we ever come back to Hawaii, we'll certainly be booking to go out of the waves with Shane again. It was the most perfect, exhilarating and dream-like experience, and we can't say thank you enough. *shaka*

We had an incredible adventure on the island of Oahu with Shane, who provided a personalized 3-hour kayak, snorkel, and surf experience. From the start, Shane and his friend (whom we called the captain) made sure we had a memorable journey. We began by kayaking to the open sea, and whenever we needed guidance, Shane and the captain impressively escorted our kayak with their surfboards. One of the highlights was snorkeling with magnificent green sea turtles and a variety of tropical fish. It was an awe-inspiring experience to be so close to these graceful creatures and witness their underwater world. The natural beauty surrounding us filled us with deep appreciation. The ultimate highlight was the surfing lesson, where we emulated the ancient Hawaiian kings. With Shane and the captain as our patient, encouraging, and skillful instructors, we caught waves and rode them to shore, an indescribable thrill. They provided valuable tips that improved our technique with each attempt. We were fortunate to have a private tour just for the two of us, feeling like the adventure was tailor-made. Shane's undivided attention and expertise guided us every step of the way. Although snacks and drinks were not provided as mentioned, the excitement and enjoyment of the activities overshadowed this minor oversight. We wholeheartedly recommend this kayak, snorkel, and surf experience. Shane's passion for his home island, combined with his personalized approach, created an unforgettable adventure. It was an awesome experience, not stuck in some huge group of people, got to snorkel solo with all kinds of fish, several sea turtles. Learning to surf was the greatest, I’m not that coordinated of a person but Shane and captain Neil were the best instructors, we rode several waves. Our trip to Hawaii was spectacular because of Shane and Neil. My daughters wanted to learn to surf and they could not ave had two more patient people to teach them. We all went snorkeling and dove a sunken ship. Afterwords they took us surfing. Well I sat in a kayak and watched. They spent helped and encouraged them. These guys are like family to us now. We couldn’t say enough good things about them. Top notch for sure!!

The adventure was definitely the best day we had at Hawaii. Surfing was my favorite from our adventure. The view while surfing is just amazing and learning how to surf was easy because the instructors were awesome. They even help you to paddle out to save your energy for the real surfing experience. When I come back to Hawaii I will definitely join their surfing lessons again. Great instructors, amazing view & so much fun! It was the best surf experience I had in my life.
