I booked this Kayaktour in march 2024, when i was in Holbox. I absolutely love sunrises, and it was so beautyful. We even saw wild flamingos. The guide Carlos was super nice and told me a lot about the mangroves, the birds and animals that live there. I travelled solo from Switzerland. They piced me up in the morning at my hotel. Super easy and professional. Carlos took awesom pictures :) best Kayaktour on the island!! (Wear long sleeves because of the sandflies and mosquios in the morning!!)

I don't know the name of the person we talked to, but if you're reading this: THANK YOU! Our guide for the actual excursion was the wonderful Carlos: patient, very prepared, knowledgeable and funny. He didn't rush us at all, we took our time enjoying the surroundings, the stunning mangroves and wildlife. We were lucky enough to see flamingos (even though it's not the right season), stingrays, a crocodile and lots of wonderful birds. I can't recommend this experience and this tour operator enough! Book with them, you won't be disappointed!

We woke up at 5.30 am to be picked up at our hotel for 6am, but the tour operator no-showed. We texted them to ask how long they'd be. No response. We waited until 6.30 before realizing they were not coming. Aside from the initial purchase email that confirmed they'd pick us up from our hotel, we received ZERO communication from this company. Nothing the day before, nothing the morning of, no reply to our message, and no apology. Nothing. We tried to claim a refund through Tripadvisor / Viator, and they refused. Apparently the tour operator claimed they spoke with us to reschedule to the following day. This did not happen - as I said there was no communication whatsover. Right now it seems like the only way to get our money back is to charge a refund. Thanks for making us get up at 5.30am for nothing. Absolute sh*t show of a company.

Awful experience as they simply didn’t show up to the meeting point + they didn’t answered to the phone when I tried to reach them at 6am! Worst experience of my holidays!!!

We saw four crocodiles, flamingoes and an array of other bird wildlife, all in the calms of the day as the sun rose! Diego and Carlos were great.

The sunset kayaking experience in Mongroves was absolutely incredible. Diego and Carlos collected us and made us feel super excited for the tour, and incredibly safe despite the fact we might see some crocodiles. We were lucky enough to see a medium large crocodile on the sandbank, that didn’t approach us given Carlos’ clear guidance on how to be still and gentle with our movements. We also saw cownose rays, horse shoe crabs, all kinds of herons, ospreys, red crabs and more. We saw some pink flamingos on the 3 islands tour which you can see in the Mongroves in the right season. They provided life jackets, lovely local fruit and water. They spoke perfect English and shared lots on the history of Holbox and answered any questions we had. Best day of our holiday - and we did Chichen Itza, 3 Islands tour, cenotes, and a lot more.

We loved it. We saw all kinds of birds and even saw sting rays and crocodiles! The views in the mangrove were breathtaking and the guide Carlos was very nice and infirmative. Great experience!

Very nice guide. Good positive vibe. I learned a lot. And saw a lot. Thanks for this experience. Just do the tour with Carlos and his driver friend.

Wonderful tour with a great guide. I highly recommend going early in the morning to see the undisturbed wildlife. If you are not used to kayaking or are out of shape, the way back might be a bit strenuous, but definitely doable and worth the effort.

Just wanted to say that Carlos was such a great tour guide and guy with a lot of knowledge around the area and the animal species we got to see. Really kind and happy to answer questions. The overall expercince was definatley a must if you visit Holbox, and especially in the early morning when we got to see the sunrise, so beatiful and amazing to see. Really cool animals we got to see also like stingray, flamingos, crocodiles and bunch of others. I even got to paddle literally next to a crocodile which was an amazing thing to experience.

Really unique experience kayaking at sunrise and seeing birds in the mangroves. Great guides who looked after us ! Loved it and highly recommend !!!

We saw a lot of birds, including flamingos and white pelicans. We also saw 2 crocodiles, one in the water, one on a bank. The guide was great, very knowledgeable and passionate about the conservation of the area.

Our guide was great and they made everything convenient and efficient from our hotel pickup and drop off. We saw lots of different birds including some flamingos. Super peaceful at sunrise.

Excellent trip! Our guide Carlos was superb! Good in English, knowing and enthusiastic about nature! We saw 3 crocodiles up close! And a lot of flamingos and other birds. Such a nice trip! Only thing - forget about the fruit 😊 it’s not important.

We had the mangrove tour with Gustavo. It was a very quiet, lovely kyak tour between channels at sunrise. We saw a lot of animals, mostly birds, and Gustavo spotted 4 crocodiles for us to observe. It’s a beautifull landscape between the nature and our guide gave us a lot of information during the tour. It was always very thoughtful if we needed to rest or to have some water, gave us time to take pictures and to enjoy birdwatching.

It was a spectacular experiance. Highly recommended!! Saw a lot of wildlife, Kayaking was fun and the morning vibe couldn't be better.

We squeezed in a kayak tour before our flight, the tour picked us up at our hostel and the team were friendly and attentive from start to finish. Carlos was brilliant, he’s charming and knowledgable about the wildlife and nature reserve. We loved listening to his stories and would highly recommend the tour!!!! On our tour he pointed out crocodiles that another tour missed, herons, identified various fish and birds, sting rays and of course flamingos! 🦩🐊🦋🌴❤️

Beautiful sunrise and easy kayak up To mangroves. Saw flamingos which was unexpected due to time of year but really cool! Diego was a great guide - funny and knowledgeable. Kayak back was a little strenuous for all of us due to current but manageable.
