We did the Cova Tolada kayak tour as a small group - and it was excellent. Our 2 guides we superb - taking care and attention and also sharing local knowledge. It's always great to be with people who are proud of their area - and the two host/guides shared some great insight. The trip to the caves gave us more than we expected - by exploring in the caves and learning about the history - and also have a gorgeous snorkelling session. It was a great trip well organised and we highly recommend it.

Terrible! Asked us to change booking to later in the week and then cancelled late in the evening before our last day so no chance for us to find another operator somewhere else on the coast. Would have been polite and thoughtful to warn there was a risk of cancellation which apparently there was due to illness. Very unprofessional. Avoid.

Wonderful morning with José. (I think!?) A novice at kayaking he completely put me at my ease with relaxed clear guidance. It was an easy journey to the caves. There was a plentiful supply of snacks which was appreciated and a lovely touch. We had an interesting walk through the caves with just the right amount of information, snorkelled in the bay and then back to base. Plenty of photos were taken for us. Communication was efficient. I couldn’t recommend these guys highly enough!

Was wonderful day. Absolutely perfect. My favorite was exploring the caves and Marks excellent and vibrant story telling!!!

Mark was a great guide and very informative. Loved the trip and highly recommend it. The restaurant at the meeting point is also worth a visit.

Great 3-hour kayak trip to sea caves and walking inside caves with headlamps. John was an excellent instructor and host and assisted us on any of the walk inside the cave. He also explained the long history of the caves and how the caves were sourced for building materials for defensive the walls on land. After leaving the caves, we could swim with fish at the entrance to the cave and share a light refreshment of watermelon, pastries, cookies and candies that John brought. We brought flip flops for the cave tour but rock shoes would be better. At John’s suggestion, we took off our flip flops and walked bare-footed on the sandy portion of the cave for better grip.

Great experience that brings together sport, history and nature. Aaron and company are very educational, professional and fun. We will repeat with them for sure

Well organized kayak trip with family (12+ years). The kids appreciated the mix of kayaking, visiting caves and snorkeling. The guides took well care of us all !

Great tour organized by Aaron and Daniel. Very professional and knowledgeable guides. Aaron knows a lot, not only about the history of the cave, but also a lot about the sea, the nature and the region. What I particularly liked is that he is really concerned about your safety and well being throughout the day. Great guys, great tour, highly recommended!!

We enjoyed our Kayak tour with Turismo Activo Montgo. This activity is the perfect balance between sport, culture with the visit of the cave and the interesting comments from our guides, and fun with the snorkelling break to watch different type of fishes all around you. The organisation is perfect, the guides took care about our safety with hydroalcoolic gel, masks désinfected, head lights to visit the cave, and always close to the group during the kayak rowing to take care of us. The starting time is 8:00 to be in the cave almost the first, that is a great idea. In addition, the guides are nice and took many pictures that they shared with us quickly. Do not hesitate, we recommend this activity (we did it with children from 12 year old)

We very much enjoyed the tour, our tour guide Joan was very nice and helpfull and answered all of our questions. The tour was well prepared and the communication both prior and after the trip was very pleasant. We loved the pictures Joan took during the trip and we received them over the phone the afternoon on the same day. It was a great experience and we would definitely recommend this trip!!

A great way to see the Spanish coast from a new perspective. Hosts were really welcoming and spoke multiple languages. Gentle sea kayak session to a set of man made caves that were really well explained to us. Without the guides, you simply would not have appreciated hat you were seeing. Opportunity to then snorkel in a wonderfully clear sea full of fish. Great way to spend a couple of hours or so.

Excellent trip with Arron and Juan. Small group of about 10. They gave us some good sensible and useful introduction, spoke good English, very friendly and relaxed. Nice gentle two-man sea kayak, cave exploring with good respect for the national park it is in and some super snorkeling. They also brought a little snack and gave us water. Just under 3 hours - it is as really nice. Thanks

We loved our kayak adventure. Aaron is an excellent host and guide - he made it fun for everyone. Kayak - rest stop - Cave - Snack - snorkel - return kayak (seemed easier on the way back). You get a bit of a work out as well. Snorkeling while being surrounded by fish was the highlight for me. Be aware, if you don't like dark caves or are a bit claustrophobic you may find the caving exploration element quite challenging.. Highly recommended! Thanks again Aaron - you are a star! :-)

Aaron and Juan care about there guests and the area they are guiding in. The kayaking is great, just before it feels like a workout of stops. Seen a lot and learned a lot. Must do excursion.

We are a family of 5 from Texas - three teenagers - and had an incredible day with Aaron and Pablo. We initially booked the kayak tour to the cave, but the weather/waters were not cooperative that day, and it was our one full day in Denia. Rather than cancel us fully, Aaron suggested that we could simply switch and do the hike through the cliffs down to the cave, and then tour and snorkel at the cave as planned. It was a fantastic trip. I wouldn't have thought that I could do the hike on my own as the "mom", but both guides were so helpful, literally giving us all a steady and encouraging hand where needed. The hike itself gives incredible views, and when we were done, all of my teens were definitely proud of themselves for having accomplished it (they said that they preferred the unique hike to "another" kayaking trip). When we arrived at the cave, they gave us a really indepth tour, and then we snorkeled at the site. They provide snacks and drinks, and have all of the snorkel equipment on hand. Aaron and Paul both were very informative and fun, and it is clear that they have a passion for Denia, and are committed to giving tourists an appreciation of its history and natural wonder. As life long residents, they have really engaging stories. It was a great experience for my husband and I and all of the kids. I would recommend Turismo Activo Montgo to anyone and at any skill level - you get a great and very personal experience; their attention to the details of the trip are incredibly professional.

We’ve just finished our tour to Cova Tallada. We’re a family of five with three teenagers and we all loved the tour. The guides; Aaron and Joan, are funny, patient and very knowledgeable. We thought the snack break was a great idea and they gave us plenty of time to do some diving in the area. Would love to do it again and definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to have an unforgettable experience. Acabamos de hacer un tour a la Cova Tallada. Somos una familia con tres hijos y a todos nos ha encantado la experiencia. Los guías, Aaron y Joan, son divertidos, pacientes y con mucho conocimiento de la zona. La parada para el snack nos ha parecido muy buena idea y nos han dejado suficiente tiempo para explorar la zona buceando. Nos encantaría hacerlo otra vez y lo recomiendo a cualquiera que quiera tener una experiencia inolvidable.

This was so much fun and great value in my view. The guides were great full of fun and enthusiasm. We toured the caves and the snorkeling was great with all the equipment provided. All was on time and perfectly planned and the two guides were a joy. I can't think how they might make it better. Easy t book and very responsive if you have a question or request.
