This was an amazing 4-hour private fishing charter I booked for my partners birthday celebration. The crew, Ikena and Dylan were very nice and attentive. They provided us with soda and water and showed us various locations on the water and basically did all the hard work of locating and setting up for the fishing aspect. I would highly recommend this fishing charter to anyone who wants to have a great time on Kauai’s open waters.

My family, my boyfriend, and I went on this trip and it was AMAZING!! Our tour guides were Dylan and Wendell and they were great company! We got on the boat and they explained the trip while Dylan rigged up the poles for everyone! Once we got going it only took about 20 minutes before we got a bite! Overall it was an excellent experience and we made friends along the way! Would absolutely recommend this to people of all ages! They also allow you to take home any fish you caught, and enough for about 2-3 nights for your party!

IMUA wad absolutely the best. They went above and beyond to make our trip the best. We have went deep sea fishing in several places we have vacationed, but this was far the best. The crew were so nice and took great care of us. We will come back and do this again.

My husband & teen son fished with Capt. Ikena & First Mate Dillon (sp?) and hit the mahi (dorado) hard all morning. It was a fantastic experience. We are both freshwater big lake salmon/trout fishers (deep) and have been on many charters as well. They made the experience fun, worked it hard and we laughed and learned a lot. Great charter, would highly recommend.

The ocean was pretty rough, three of the 5 of us got sea sick. We did catch 2 yellow fin tuna. Had a wonderful dinner with our catch. The crew were as good as could be given the conditions.

Great time!! Would highly recommend. Cap and Dylan worked hard and shared both fishing and things to do with us. Bonus - a couple of whales waved at us.

Though the fishing was slow we still caught 7 total fish. We continued to hunt for opportunities until the very last minute. Ikena and Dylan definitely want to catch fish.

The Imua, Ikena, and Chas are names that will forever be burned into my memory. Great fishing, knowledgeable, friendly, determined captain, hardworking and passionate crew. We caught Wahoo (unfortunately didn't boat), a couple of nice Mahi Mahi, some Skip Jack tuna (made great Poke) and lastly a Barracuda (unfortunately did boat ;-) ). Learned a lot through stories and conversation with both Chas and Ikena. This is my third and most successful deep-sea fishing charter in recent years. I would definitely recommend. Thanks, Ikena! I hate to write a bad review because the people were great and easy to work with. Honestly though, we had a crappy experience - the water was so rough that all of us were seasick, and we are avid boaters, not prone to seasickness. We did multiple other water excursions in HI with no issue. We didn’t catch anything and asked to turn around about 1.5 hrs in cause we were all sick. He did warn us that it was rough, but my opinion is that it should have been canceled with as bad as it was. We spent a ton of money and really disappointed with how it turned out.

Ikena & Chaz were fantastic! We had a blast even though fishing was relatively slow. Caught 5 skip Jack tuna. Highly recommend!

Guides were kind and helpful and boat was well maintained. We didn’t catch much for a 6 hour trip - 3 small tuna (4-5 pounds each). The boat ride was beautiful but there wasn’t much to do to help / be engaged in the fishing experience, which was disappointing. The type of fishing didn’t allow for assisting with putting out lures / lines so we just sat and watched other than the few minutes needed to reel in the 3 fish.

Fantastic crew, put us (dad with 3 kiddos) on the fish despite rough water/wind and helped my 17 year old land a 10 ft blue marlin. First rate, thanks guys! Aloha!

5/5- service! Overall service was incredible!! The captain and Chaz did an excellent job managing the boat and lures and poles and everything that needed to be done. I have no complaints about their customer service because it was great! They were super meticulous about the cleaning of their boat too- wiping down seats that got wet from the waves and spraying down the blood from fish. The biggest thing that wasn’t unexpected was the sea conditions- they said it was right on the edge of cancelling because waves were going to be about 5 feet- we had never been in those Type of conditions and wow what a crazy experience- the waves got up to about 7 feet apparently too and it was thrilling and somewhat scary for me all at the same time. Not to mention, if you get sea sick, prepare to throw up. Even if you don’t get sea sick, you might get sick anyways. My husband was vomiting pretty much the entire time off and on and was nauseous the entire time so it’s just a miracle he reeled in even one fish and took a photo. He was super miserable. Please please please bring medicine for anti-nausea!! Just in case!! We wish we had been warned and told to bring some cuz it could have been a game changer and we were pretty much stuck on a boat for 4 hours. They should have some sort of over the counter stuff on the boat but they don’t do bring your own! It seems like people getting sea sick on these trips is super common- unless perhaps you’re used to these type of conditions but Kauai apparently has some of the roughest of all of the islands due to its location. We didn’t get to catch any of the big guys but we did catch 6 of the Jack tuna and got to take some back with us so looking forward to eating that today. They did anything and everything they could to catch us fish- it’s also trolling fishing so you’re always moving so be prepared for that too. They worked their butt’s off on that boat- I was thankful for their experience and just overall positive demeanor, even emptying my husband barf bucket on a regular basis. We had to have the co-captain reel in some of our fish because at points 2 would be on the line and my husband wasn’t physically able to reel them in due to being sick so it was me and Chaz reeling in the fish. This was our first time fishing in Kauai or anywhere in Hawaii and it was for sure a memorable experience! I would recommend for sure as long as you’re aware of the seas and bring medicine for that! The boat is super nice and customer service is on point!

Had an absolute blast on our 6 hour excursion. Guide and Captain were excellent help and got us into fish immediately! 6 of us (18 and older) caught 13, with one being a personal best super huge yellow fin tuna! Highly recommend.

The staffs are absolutely professional and they will do what it takes to try to catch a fish. We caught some skip Jack tuna. My kids loved the experience. They have everything to provide you if you get seasickness. I will definitely do it again until I catch a giant yellowtail! Thanks for taking us out! I’ll make sure my kid won’t bring a banana to the boat next time lol

Great trip and awesome Captain and mate. Was a little rough seas but they made it great still. Caught 120 lb Ahi and some other smaller tuna. Would not hesitate to schedule them again. Highly recommend.

This was my first time fishing the ocean. Ikena and Chaz were awesome and make the trip great. Shortly leaving the harbor we saw whales and the weather was perfect. We only caught one slip Jack tuna but it was still a great time. Ikena gave us an additional fish from their catch the previous day. We took both fish home and cooked them up. They were amazing.
