Absolutely lovely day. The stop at Olympia Honey Farm is very charming. It is a local home where you are served coffee and wonderful traditional delicacy. The location is beautiful and you learn about honey farming from a family who has been doing this for generations. The olive oil stop is fun as you taste multiple types of oil and balsanic vinegar. A fun easy day with lovely people. Definitely recommend.

This tour was great. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and made sure we saw everything we were supposed to on this tour. The honey farm was really unique. The honey was so good. The olive oil tasting was great. We even got to taste different olives, not just the olive oil. I would definitely recommend this tour.

This tour was amazing. We had an excellent "escort" who was very friendly and knowledgeable. There were just 8 in our group, so we had very personal service. The tour of Olympia was so interesting, and the stop for olive oil and wine tasting was in a nice shop with very reasonable prices for souvenirs.

Well organized tour with Travel Insiders would recommend this tour. Olympia was fabulous our guided tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, great sense of humor that made the very hot day bearable. Kilo’s Honey farm was inspiring, what an amazing hard working group of women dedicated to preserving their family heritage. The tastings and family experience was amazing, well done. I agree the Olive oil tasting wasn’t anything more than a souvenir shop with communal samplings, no thanks. Please skip this or find a family business as dedicated as Kilo’s to explain the olive oil process and let us individually taste. More shopping time in town would have been appreciated. All in all a great tour!

We started with a trip to Olympia. We had to purchase entry into the ruins and were guided by a knowledgeable person showing us all the highlights of the grounds. It was incredibly hot so this part of the tour was the least enjoyable for me. We left and went to a farm and listened to the owner talk about the history of her family in the honey business. While she explained how honey was collected we enjoyed drinks and a small sample. Afterwards we had local honey to eat and sampled items created with the honey. It was a sweet treat. Then we went to an indoor mart where we sampled olive oil and bought souvenirs. It was an enjoyable day considering the heat.

The honey farm was amazing. Our guide did a great job doing the exact tour we wanted at the Olympic site. The olive oil tasting was disappointing there were many oils to taste, which was great, but seemed more like a shopping ploy than an authentic experience.

Great little tour. The lady who runs the honeybee farm is awesome. Shes so funny and makes you feel like family. The guide at Olympia was very knowledgeable, and we had fun running on the original Olympic track. The olive oil and wine tasting was fun too. It was within a little roadside store, but the layout was awesome. My wife and I tasted 20+ oils and balsamics there. Ended up buying a blood orange olive oil and a black truffle balsamic. Pickup from our cruise ship was easy, and they dropped us back off with plenty of time.

My wife and I booked this excursion instead of any of the options offered by the cruise we were on. Our guide wisely scheduled the honey farm visit first, thus avoiding the crowds that came directly from the cruise ship. This was not only wisely planned, it proved to be a very nice stop at a long-time family-owned bee farm. It was very informative and quite fun! Next up came the visit to Olympia. Our guide of the ancient site was quite knowledgeable of the site's history, and we learned quite a bit during our time with her. (NOTE: People, please tip your tour guides. Only a few of my group gave her a tip, and I felt quite bad because of that.) Our third, and final stop was to the Olive Oil Tasting. This is nothing more than stopping off in a store that lays out oil and wine samples with the hope you'll buy something from their huge store consisting of food items and souvenirs. It's nothing but a money trap. We wished this stop was skipped so that we could have spent time walking, shopping and having lunch in the port area.

Enjoyed the trip to visiting the honey farm and then the olive oil and wine tasting my favourite was olive oil truffle infused. The attached gift shop was huge and took home some great souvenirs. Our guide was very caring and answered our questions.

The visit to Olympia was fabulous - however the entry fee is not included in tne tour. The Honey Farm did not actually show bees or honey production as this is located a ling way from where the presentation took place. The Olive Oil tasting was actually a visit to a shop who gave anyone a taste. The £125 (UK pounds) was for a bus ride to Olympia which street vendors were doing for EURO 25. The collection point that i was given was wrong, I waited an hour there and then had to call at my own expense to find it had changed. I felt ripped off, overcharged and hoodwinked. I complained to the local tour operator amd this dismissed my complaint, no apology or anything. I and my family will never use Viator again.

What a wonderful little excursion! We enjoyed visiting the Original Olympic Stadium and waking all the ruins, even running on the original Olympic track. Then visiting a local honey bee farmer, tasting homemade pastries and honey in a locals home farm. Then off to taste olive oils and wines at a local market! Great family owned tour guides, definitely recommend!

We had an amazing time in this tour! Initially worried there might be too many things for one day, the pace was great and each stop was given ample time to enjoy. Kilo’s Honey Farm was delightful and educational, the host was warm, genuine and passionate about her craft. The samples were wonderful and we purchased a number of products for gifts. Our Ancient Olympia guide Elena was equally great, she navigated us through throngs of large tours and made sure to address the exhibits in the museum and the features of the archaeological site with details and knowledge. Our final stop was the olive oil tasting, and our host blew our mind with the array and complexity of the oils, olives, and sweets, showing us how to combine some for enhanced flavourings. His shop also had a vast selection of gifts and souvenirs. Throughout the day, our driver Nasos was helpful, kind, and kept us on time, making sure we had sufficient time at each stop. Highly recommend this tour for a day adventure around the area.
