What a day at Karla's Cooking Class! It was such an experience learning authentic Mexican dishes that are so fresh and delicious from Karla herself who when you meet her, you are instantly best friends with such a wonderful and interesting person. She is so knowledgeable about the tastes of Mexico and did I mention, so personable. This was the highlight of our trip to Cabo and would highly recommend an afternoon with Karla as part of your trip - you will instantly be part of Karla's family and will learn a thing or two about Mexican culture and their wonderful food. Next time back to Cabo, we will definitely be spending time with Karla and her family again!

We loved the whole experience, from the eclectic shops around the restaurant, to the aprons and cooking outfits we were given, to the fresh food we got to prepare! It was an intimate setting and Karla was a wonderful instructor!

My Partner and I were traveling to San Jose Del Cabo and came across Karla's Kitchen. We did the 2 Hour Cooking Class & Margarita and mezcal tasting. Everything was delicious! Great atmosphere & Great experience!

Karla was absolutely wonderful and very personable. She taught us how make dishes that were beyond anything we'd ever eaten before. I've eaten ceviche more times than I can count and this was hands down the best. Everyone was super attentive and they were ready for us when we got there. Location is very eclectic and comfortable. I would highly recommend her class to anyone.

Karla and Adrianna were great entertainers! They had a team approach and engage with each guest. It was a fantastic experience!

The 4 of us had a wonderful experience with hosts Karla and Oscar today. Starting with a warm welcome in a beautiful multi-colored atmosphere, we continued with fabulous margaritas. Sitting down we learned to make salsa, guacamole and the best fresh shrimp and fish ceviche any of us have ever had. All three recipes were unique. It was a lovely several hours. We plan on returning for dinner next Tuesday and to another class in our next annual trip to Cabo. Thank you from the 2 Floridians and 2 Texans!

This was such a rare and unexpected treat! We were greeted with warmth and hospitality from the beginning of the experience, and left feeling like old friends. Great food, experience and company! Booked this same day, and they didn’t miss a beat. Head straight up the stairs and enjoy!!!!

Karla and her team were amazing. So fun, inviting and generous. We found the tour as a last minute activity and was the best thing we did. It’s a must do!

A wonderful time! JK gave us (two couples) clear directions/map to the cafe in port, where we picked up the transportation to the site, providing free water/Cerveza while we waited. Clean van-taxi. On arrival, we dressed in a bandana & apron for cooking, & were greeted by our kind and helpful cooking instructor. She was FABULOUS, patiently teaching us to make Ceviche & salsa, step-by-step. We enjoyed tequila (included in the open bar) and chips as we sampled our creations. A souvenir tequila glass with our pic was offered for a small price. We LOVED the atmosphere, the beach area & real-life experience of a small Mexican town. Would do it again 100%. Transportation to the kitchen did cost $16 for 4 of us. JK paid for our way back to the port (taxi cab). Reserving through Trip Advisor was easy. Great communication from JK throughout.

En esta ocasión hicimos chiles rellenos, que fueron un reto y una gran prueba superada!! Buenisimos!! What a pleasant time we spent in this cozy place. Alma de México is located in the center of San José and offers different cooking and art classes. On this occasion we made stuffed chiles, which were a challenge and a great test passed!! Great!
