The well-planned pit stops allowed us to immerse ourselves in the local culture, taste delicious cuisine and fruits, and capture stunning photographs. The prices was very reasonable, we felt safe and comfortable. Car was new, clean and safe. I rarely write reviews. However, given the quality of the service, I must share it. The best guide I've had in Sri Lanka. He listens, is extremely knowledgeable and inspiring with his Buddhist philosophy, which he transmits with passion. I spent a whole day in Kandy with the guide and his tuktuk, visiting temples, tea factory, botanical garden and viewpoints. By far the best way to discover Kandy and its surroundings for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend it.

The tour through Kandy was very nice. The guide was the perfect guy, to see all must-see spots. He showed and explained anything interesting. To sum up, we can fully recommend a tour!

I was picked up like a lost puppy from the side of the road while having a casual stroll through Kandy. At first I was sceptical but after discussing a price and an itinerary, my mind was put at easy and I took the punt. I am so glad I did because I was shown so much more than I would have found going it alone! We started at a magnificent Buddhist temple, then went to a few different landmarks around Kandy with some beautiful panoramic scenes, sampled a few roadside gems like a delicious king coconut and juicy corn on the cob, followed by a trip to the Ceylon tea factory and then a delicious traditional lunch. All in all, I would 100 percent recommend lux tours to anyone wanting to see Kandy.

We had a really nice day with our guide who showed us all of Kandy. He provided good and interesting information about the city and the places we visited. He customized the day to our liking and got us to places where we would not come travelling alone. We would defenitly recommend it!

It was great. The tuktuk driver was friendly but sometimes talked to much. We have seen a lot. Many temples, tasted fresh fruits and a tea company.

We had a nice two- day tour with Mr.Laxman Liyanage, visited Kandy, suburbs,Matale, Dambulla, Pidurangala.Kandy’s tour included tea factory, Kataragama Dewale, Temple of Buddha’s Tooth, national dances festival and other places. Mr. Liyanage was very friendly, fretful, polite and helpful. He gave us the detailed info about the sights, culture and traditions of Shri Lanka, accompanied us everywhere, helped to get the free food on Full Moon festival, gave some nice fruits. Even after leaving Kandy he called us and tried to help. Thanks for getting knowing the country

We had a fantastic tuk tuk tour exploring the main sights of Kandy. There is nothing better than seeing a city from a local's perspective, and Laxman is the perfect guide for it. He is very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We have learnt so much from him and can not recommend him highly enough if you are looking for a personal tour guide to show you around the area.

Very knowledgeable tour guide, took us to a wide variety of activities from Kandy cultural show, eating fresh fruit, the royal garden, and temples. He offered more activities but when we weren’t interested in them he didn’t push and adapted the tour plan. We had a great day!

We had a great afternoon with Mr Laxman from Lux Tours. We visited the botanical garden, the tea factory, the herb garden. We stopped for fresh fruit which was delicious. Very respectful and friendly interaction. Knows a lot about Kandy the surroundings.

Laxman is a fantastic tour guide! He was resourceful and helpful in assisting me around Kandy city. He even helped book my train ticket from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya at a reduced rate (1500 instead of 4000 rupee). He is also very knowledgeable about the region's history and attractions, always trying to help you find hidden gems. The accommodation he booked me into was great too!

We had a great day with Lux Tours. We visited the botanical gardens, tea factory, herb garden, temple and saw a cultural dance. Stopped some fresh fruit for lunch. Good driving and very good English to tell us all about Kandy. Even went out of the way to help us get some last minute reservations pon the train to Ella. Great day out!
