This trip was absolutely brilliant. It was really nice to get out into the countryside and to see how people live. To get to the temple cave we had to walk through a working crop farm and it was great to watch them at work. There are quite a few steps to get up to the cave itself, but it was the heat more than the amount of steps that made it challenging (I went in April which is the hottest time of the year). If you take this trip, I advise you to come back out of the cave via the steps, rather than going further into the caves to get out as its really slippery and dangerous with lots of big drops. Also, if you visit in the dry season remember to bring a face mask or something to cover your mouth and nose as the dust is quite bad on the roads. I also enjoyed the pepper farm where they give you a guided tour through the plantation, and then take you for a sampling session with all of the products that they produce. They also have a shop onsite that sells everything that they produce on the plantation. The products are a little pricey, but at least you know where the money is going, and they are very high quality. I would definitely recommend this trip if you like getting out into the countryside away from the city centre, and enjoy some peace and tranquility. Also, the tour guide was really nice and polite, and he stopped to buy us some freshly squeezed sugarcane juice, which was delicious.

Excellent value tour. Unhurried. Picked up as advised at 0800 at our Central Kampot Hotel. Very helpful and knowledgeable guide/driver showcased the salt fields, Temple Cave as well as the Secret Lake which is worth googling as it has a history attached. Final stop was an hour or so at the La Plantation pepper farm. Very interesting location which included pepper tasting and an opportunity to purchase products. I'm from the UK and my wife is Cambodian and we both learnt so much. Highly recommend this tour. Lasted five hours start to finish.

Such an amazing tour with Roy, especially the pepper plantation. It was also nice to visit other places where the background stories were shared. Pretty nice.

A worthwhile tour to see how the salt & pepper is farmed , unfortunately the salt workers packed up as we got there so limited photo ops . The pepper tasting was great fun and enlightening to the variety of tastes from one plant . Views at the cave and lake were amazing and informative , our guide answered any questions and gave us in sights to the area and culture

We had a very varied, great day with stops at the salt springs, a cave, Secret Lake and La Plantation pepper plantation. Our guide and driver Seth took great care of us, stopping for a traditional breakfast snack and telling us lots of details about the stops, including the history of the country and his family. We would do the tour again and would highly recommend getting into Seth's tuk-tuk.

We loved this tour! We ended up as part of a small group of 7, travelling in two Khmer style tuktuks through the Kampot countryside. Roy was a fantastic guide - he is very chatty and fun, with good English and lots to share about the local sights and culture. He talked about his personal experience working in a salt field as a kid, or exploring a cave by firelight (we got a small but safe taste of both). All of the stops on the tour were great, and it was a good way to see a lot of different things in one day. One tip - a hat & sunglasses are helpful on the occasionally dusty roads around Kampot. Definitely recommend and thank you Roy for a great time!

This is one of the best tours i have taken in cambodia. Phoung, the tour guide and driver, was punctual and very knowledgeable about the different sites we visited, playing a big role in bringing them to life.

Excellent tour organized and anchored by Roy. He did a great job of keeping us informed of the backstories of the places we visited. He kept the conversation light and helped the guests interact with each other Do note the tour can be finished in 5 hours if the guests don't want to spend a lot of time at stops and it was the case with us Well done Roy and thanks for a fast paced entertaining tour.

Really enjoyable day travelling around in a tuk tuk visiting number of different sites - cave, lake, pepper plantation, and salt lakes. The trip went all along the back roads so got to see rural life up close and take some great photos. Our driver Seth, was happy to stop for photos on request. He shared his knowledge of the area and the importance of the caves and lake to the local people.

Very motivated guide who explained a lot and answered every question. I would recommend to use this tuk tuk tour rather than renting a scooter since roads are very bumpy.

The locations were good to see but our 'english speaking guide' wasn't able to explain anything in detail, or respond to questions. His english was decent enough to arrange timings but that was about all. Really his role was driver, not guide, which really made this poor value. La Plantation, in contrast, had very lively and eloquent guides that knew their stuff. It is a bit of a tourist honey pot with a shop, but sells good food and produce so who cares :)

Really nice day with Micki. He was really attentive to our wishes for the day. Moreover, he's an awesome tuktuk driver, it wasn't an easy path but Micki made it really smooth. To sum up he's really cool and gives really precious details about Cambodian habits! It really gives a good overview of the must see of Kanpot 👌🏻 Thank you very much !
