Andrew, my excellent guide, takes me around Kampala downtown area for a safe, fun filled 3-hour tour. Without him, I would not venture into the chaotic market or some neighborhoods. Through him I also learn a lot about the country’s history.

We booked the Kampala Walking Tour for five of us. Three kids under 14 y.o. and two adults. The communication and response exceeded my expectations. The customer service was superb and the tour with Roland was a great experience. Roland has a great knowledge of history, and be prepared as he will probably also challenge you with specific questions. I liked his attitude towards very fine line questions with regard to historical facts. As we had three young kids with us, it was a big question if they will enjoy the walking program through the city. Roland made it happen. He was able to adjust the program taking our interest into account. He also found a good way to find a common language with the youngest one. I highly recommend you the service. I do not think you will ever regret it. Be prepared as the three hours will be definitely more longer and have cash with you as you will visit the local markets (vegetable+fruit+chlotes).

Andrew is a great guide - He’s knowledgeable about the colonial and contemporary history of Kampala and is a very kind and accommodating guide. Fully worth the money! If you’re going alone, he’ll happily accommodate other things you want to do as well. I felt very safe as a single woman also.

From the minaret, you have a superb view over the city. Thanks again for one of the most beautiful days I've had in Uganda so far.

My mom and I loved the Kampala walking tour. Arthur was super knowledgeable and friendly, and we loved seeing a variety of historic landmarks and "real life" places. The markers are crowded (of course), but Arthur led us through the chaos really well and we enjoyed taking in all the sights and sounds of central Kampala. If you're in town for either work or tourism, I definitely recommend taking the walking tour (and go to the mosque--the view from the Minaret is beautiful).

My favorite part of this tour were the different markets, but also to hear from the history. I liked that the guide could give me answer of all my questions about the lifestyle in Uganda, about the buildings, the history and the traditional things.

I booked this tour online with Arthur. My tour guide was Arthur (another person) who arrived there well before the tour start - just in case to help the visitors. We started off outside the craft center and walked everywhere after, talking about different topics along the way. We visited the places in the itinerary in exactly the order advertised. There was a boda-boda ride from the second hand used market to the Gaddafi Mosque and it was a good one. The tour ended right back where it started outside the craft market next to the Senana shopping center in Nakasero. It was a day well-spent! Many thanks, Arthur and Arthur!

Had a lovely time with my tour guide Andrew. Learned a lot about the history and culture of Uganda and even picked up a few useful words. I also did the Gaddafi mosque which I highly recommend, the view is epic! Capped it off with a boda boda ride back to where we started and a delicious Rolex!

I enjoyed this tour of Kampala. It is a walking tour, so be prepared to walk. The tour guide, Arthur, was so knowledgeable about the city. I learned so much about Kampala, and by extension, Uganda. Though I am not fond of heights, I think the Gadaffi Mosque (w/the tower) experience is worth it. You'll get a beautiful 360-degree view of Kampala. Thank you guys!!
