I highly recommend this tour, even for solo (female) travelers. It will take you out of your comfort zone and it will show you Kampala in a way you could have never seen it by yourself. Nasser and his brother were really flexible to adapt the tour to my availabilities. Thank you!

Kampala, the vibrant capital city of Uganda, is a bustling metropolis that seamlessly blends modernity with rich cultural heritage. Situated on the shores of Lake Victoria, Kampala is a city of contrasts, where towering skyscrapers stand alongside traditional markets and historic landmarks. The city's diverse population reflects its status as a melting pot of cultures, with people from all over Uganda and beyond calling Kampala home. This diversity is evident in the city's lively street markets, where vendors sell everything from fresh produce to handmade crafts, creating a colorful tapestry of sights and sounds. Kampala is also a hub of activity, with a thriving arts and music scene that draws visitors from near and far. The city's nightlife is legendary, with an array of bars, clubs, and restaurants offering entertainment late into the night. Despite its rapid urbanization, Kampala has managed to preserve its natural beauty, with lush green spaces and parks providing a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. The city's friendly residents, known for their warmth and hospitality, add to Kampala's charm and make it a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the heart and soul of Uganda.

Amazing tour! Both Nasser and Malik are amazing guides and super knowledgable. I really got to see Kampala in its true form. Not only did we visit some amazing sites but I also learned the history/meanings behind them all. Malik also made it super safe and letting you know when, where to take pictures/ask permission, etc. I highly recommend this tour if you have 3-4 hours to spare, it’s worth it.

The walking tour gives a useful overview of Kampala’s life, with all its joys and sorrows. It should be the first step for knowing the city and its people. My guide, Nasa, was quite knowledgeable, smart, and kind. He made the experience a very good one.

This was a very cool tour. The guide walked me through many areas in Kampala, showed me some important sites and showed me how locals live there. We tried some traditional food and walked around the busy market. The guide was friendly and tried to make my day as comfortable as possible. I super recommend it!!

Had an amazing time during the Kampala walking tour. Our tour guide, Nasir, was one of the most entertaining and welcoming person I’ve got to meet during the trip. Tons of energy and great also very well connected among the Ugandan community. He will show you around to the all the local spots plus tourist attractions. A unforgettable experience thanks to such a fantastic tour guide!

A very well planned and informative tour. The tour guide came to pick us up, on time and gave a high level overview of the tour. (We knew at all times where we were headed and what to expect. This kept us going, especially since it's a walking tour.) The history of Uganda was summarized in a very great way (Not information overload). We got to experience the day-to-day Ugandan culture (of all classes of people). Experienced the scenic CBD of Uganda. I highly recommend this tour! We covered approximately 5,5km (7797 steps) and did not even feel like it!

Nothing to compare. Eye opening experience to see a slum and fleet markets. I got so much information. Motor bikes were so much fun, maybe a little bit scary in Ugandan traffic 😳

This was an amazing trip, allowing us to see the city through local eyes. Nasser told us about history and culture and kept us moving through incredible and diverse neighbourhoods. He was very accomodating as we kept wanting to stop and in the end he adjusted the route to suit our needs. Couldn't recommend this more.

I highly recommend this tour if you want to get a safe and knowledgeable introduction to the real Kampala. You will get a first-hand impression of how people in Kampala live and do business. You can't get that from being driven around in a car. We started our tour at the Gaddafi mosque, where the guide gave a great introduction to Kampala. We even got to climb up the Minaret (tower) for a great view of the city. We then walked through the various markets, food and second-hand clothes, the metal district and other business districts, and the taxi park. The guide intimately knows the area, so I always felt safe.

As an educator visiting Kampala for the first time from the United States, I wanted to learn about the history of the area as well as the educational system. Naseer did not disappoint! He provided an opportunity for me to gather this information and much more. He was so welcoming and personable. It was as though I had known him for years. His expertise concerning Uganda is incomparable. I truly had an enjoyable experience and am looking forward to returning soon. Without a doubt, I will be using Naseer’s services again! I highly recommend him to anyone visiting the area.
