The class is done in a relaxed and casual manner. I appreciate Lan and Madame Le coming in on a holiday for a class for me and my mom. We made pho, banh xeo, eggplant claypot, and papaya salad. We had fun!

Amazing! Lucy and Rosie were very kind and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. We were very well looked after! Good activity for all.

Rosie and Lucy were very organised hosts and we felt very cared for. We enjoyed cooking authentic local dishes. The environment is air conditioned and very hygienic. Love the little cooking tips they gave out along the way. We have had a memorable experience.

Absolute must do. Games, a bit of food art, food and communal cooking style experience in aircon!!! It was relaxing, informative and so much fun. Food was of course without a doubt delicious. There was an 8 year old child here and he has a blast with all the sensory experience and learnt how to flip a ban xeo.

I attended the market -cooking class with my daughter. Wonderful experience. Rosie was terrific, market visit was most interesting and the actual cooking lesson was absolutely outstanding. Rosie met us at the agreed point and introduced us to Vietnam coffee which was delicious. She then took us to a market to buy ingredients which was amazing. We then were taken by taxi to the kitchen where we enjoyed a fun time cooking four different dishes which were absolutely delicious. We finished by trying a selection of tropical fruits which were heavenly! I highly recommend this tour. Just perfect not too long and very educational.

The course is really interesting and fun! I can quickly learn how to cook Beef Pho, Banh Xeo from Lucy, Rosie and Miss Le. We enjoy our food right after making it! Highly recommend for you to learn Vietnamese food 🇻🇳

a good morning start from coffee shop meet up, go to local market together to pickup cooking ingredients, then come back to the classroom to prepare 5 dishes, a great team work with other 4 classmates, Jolie is very good at answering our questions, lead us learn the authentic way of local cooking A great day and thanks for Rosie and Lucy’s hospitality!

Rosy and Lucy were good tour guides and cooks. We talk and share our culture with each other We cook and share food like a family. We have learned how to cook Pho, stir-fry eggplant,banh xeo, and papaya salad. Everything is very savory and fun.

This was such a fun way to connect to the Vietnamese culture, language, learn about their food and how to cook it! We had so much fun with Hanna and Lucy and can’t wait to come back. From the first minute meeting Rosie and Lucy we were welcomed into a wonderful Vietnamese experience. We loved the visits to the garden, market and cafe and learned a lot about the culture of all those places. Then we made the most amazing meal! The bánh xèo was the best I’ve had in Vietnam and we were so happy that they accommodated our request to cook vegetarian options. Our pho was outstanding! Plus, we played some fun games and had great conversations.

Rosie and Lucy were very good guides! All the food we cooked was very yummy also. The information given during the tour was very thorough and we learned a lot of practical advice about buying at the markets. They were very friendly and accommodating all throughout the class. 10/10 very worth it for good food, good teachers, and a memorable experience at Da Nang.

My wife and I recently returned from a six week journey through Southeast Asia. Along the way we took cooking classes, food tours and private tours. Jolie Cooking School in Da Nang was one of our “hits”. Rosie and her crew were outstanding. Rosie toured us slowly through the market explaining fruits, vegetables and all things eatable. The cooking experience included demonstrations, hands on cooking and having fun. Make no mistake, Rosie’s personality was what we will remember. Take this class!

Our cooking experience in this class is amazing! The guide took good care of us and explained the ingredients, steps very clear. I love the tour in the garden and market. The bonus is, our guides are so nice and funny that we played games and learned some Vietnamese words during the class!!
