Probably the most beautiful hike I have ever been on! Stunning views the whole way and an very enjoyable walk. Lovely to have a break for some hot chocolate and a cookie!

This trek was amazing! I definitely wouldn't have walked this trail without a guide. It was very icy (as advertised!) and the ice cleats were crucial to the experience. Our guide was very knowledgable about the area and the geology. This is not a beginner hike! Be prepared to slip

Neil was solid. He was knowledgeable and spent time speaking to everyone connecting and making the trip fun.

We went on a morning walk to the falls. Our guide Jeff was wonderful! Educated us of the wildlife, safety and the canyon itself. Answered all of our questions. Had a treat of maple cookies and hot chocolate at the top. Also we were supplied ice cleats for our hike. I do highly recommend this company tour.

The canyon is beautiful! The hike is a perfect length for exercise, but not too intense. Ice spikes were definitely needed

Nicole, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable of Banff and the Johnston Canyon trail. She was very fun and it was a pleasure to be guided by her. The trail is immaculate, just make sure to be very cautious around ice, this dumb guy slipped and scraped some skin off his hand. Overall a fantastic tour and I can't wait to return to Alberta in the summer time to do this trail again!

The entire trip was fantastic. The coach ride up is comfortable. The coach and ice cleats were like new. The scenery beautiful, and the trail is in excellent condition. The hike itself is a gradual uphill, with some undulating terrain. Brief parts may be a bit challenging if you're not accustomed to elevation, but there are abundant areas to stop if you want to catch your breath and enjoy the view. Our guide, Max, was perfection. He gave the right amount of information and made sure everyone was comfortable. We traveled at the right pace for the group, and he was happy to chat with our teens (and others) along the way. We gladly left a 25% tip.

Jeff was a fantastic guide. Very knowledegable. professional and good sense of humour. Scenery was stunning and a really great activity! One of the highlights of our trip to Banff.

Amazing walk, made hugely more enjoyable and informative with our guides (one in training). They knew so much about the area, physical and human geography - and way beyond the “standard script”. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Once in a life time experience!! I would say.. from someone who lives in the oven and travel to the ice box!! Ive done trails at +100° to now -0°... like i said before life time experience... for someone who is not accustomed to being in a cold climate it can be a bit apprehensive... but i did it!! wonderful guide, great tips as far as hiking this trail !! and didn't let me quit... i just wanted to reach the lower falls and that would of been fine for me!! Try not to over layer even in the cold your body will begin to over heat!! yes it made me sweat... but a wonderful experience!! oh if really cold temps you might want to double on you socks only part that i felt cold but on the way down had a reverse affect??

I had an amazing time. Booking an appointment was a breeze. Even though I arrived a bit late at the meeting point, our tour guide patiently waited for me. The pickup and drop-off locations were incredibly convenient. Our guide, who I believe was named Molly or Nicole, was not only exceptionally knowledgeable but also very friendly and professional. I'm genuinely thankful for such a fantastic experience. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Wonderful hike and gorgeous views with a fabulous, very informative guide! He shared interesting facts and stories from the time he picked us up at the hotel until the time he dropped us back off. I’m so glad we signed up for this tour!

Having gone on the Johnston Canyon Evening Icewalk on a previous holiday we wanted to go back in the daytime for a different view/experience. Max, our guide, was fantastic. He was very friendly and engaging and made the trip very enjoyable. The scenery was stunning. I would highly recommend this tour for anybody visiting the Banff area.

The views were absolutely stunning and we were given ample time to stop and take photos. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and catered for the pace of the group very well! Is 100% a tour I would recommend, I’m still mind blown from what we saw in the canyon. The walk was relatively easy as well, a grand total of 3 gentle hills that weren’t that taxing
