Really great activity for a small group. Dressing up in the traditional outfit and learning the technique of archery was very fun. Highly recommend!

My tour/instructor was great. A slight language barrier that was easily overcome with a translator. I was given an insight to how it all began right down to how to hold a bow, placement of arrow, gear worn and even to specific materials used for gloves, bow and arrow. Overall i throughly enjoyed it. Thanking you.

Very fun. The instructor was very friendly and helpful. After a short introduction to the bow, you get to shoot by yourself.

We had a wonderful introduction to the art of Kyudo by the instructor. With easy to understand introduction and background we shot our first arrows. The time went by in no time. We learnt the whole process from holding the Yumi right, to knocking on the arrow, aiming and release. What a relaxing wonderful experience. Domo arigatō.

Used the full 1hr to practice archery perfecting our technique. Our instructor was patient and explained in simple steps how to hold the arrow effectively so as not to hurt yourself by grazing the bow/arrow on your forearm. I also appreciate that we only had 2 people in our group and it was great to do a lesson that was 1:2 for best instruction. Though at times we struggled with language barriers, I appreciate his willingness and patience to utilize a translation app to help us optimize our experience. 10/10 definitely recommend.

I would highly suggest stopping by for this experience. My friends and I had a great time and the staff was super helpful. They give very interesting history regarding Japanese archery and are very helpful in educating you how to shoot. Again I would highly recommend this!

We had an amazing time learning true Japanese Ninja archery. We had the opportunity to wear archery uniforms, learn about deer skin gloves, and the different bows used by ninjas vs samurai. We received step by step instructions for shooting arrows. It was overall a great class, highly educational.

This activity was so much fun!! Sensei was wonderful and helpful. Would recommend to anyone visiting Hiroshima with friends or family

Loved our time at archery today. Great instructor, we speak little Japanese but he had a great translation app, so we fully understood everything. I would recommend this as it’s something different to try.

Our instructor was elegant and knowledgeable and experienced in Traditional Japanese Archery. We were fortunate to have had such an experience.

It was such a fun experience. The teacher was very kind and answered all of our questions. After learning we got to shoot some practice arrows and then we had a little competition among family. I would recommend this fun activity to anyone who is interested.

All in all it was really worth the money. Not just that we had a lot of fun and could improve ourselves in our archery skills, the host also told us a lot about the history of traditional Japanese archery. :)

I had a really great time there ! The person explained us a lot of things, it was very interresting and of course fun ! I really recommend it ! And it's very cheap for the quality of time ! We trires the Uniform. It is easy to pick up for beginners. The coach uses google translate so there are no communication problems. It is an amusing experience.

Definitely would recommend and would do again! Quick presentation/instructions followed by fun family competition/game. Perfect amount of time. In and out in less than 60 min. Quick 3 minute walk from Peace Park. Great way to end the afternoon. Smiles and fun after a heavy but important tour of Hiroshima bombing site/PeacePark/museum

An hour of fun! My sister and husband said this was the best experience they had in the whole 17 days they were in Japan. It was fascinating to learn about the history of Japanese archery and then try to shoot arrows ourselves! It's really worth going- I recommend it to anyone! We were all hopeless, but even then, we didn't want to leave!本当に参加してよかったです。難しかったーでも、面白かったー！家族と競争して最下位でしたが、また行きたいと思います。海外から訪れた家族は日本旅行中の一番良かった体験だったそうです。おすすめします！日本人でも十分楽しめます。指導してくださったお兄さんもとてもいい方で、また行きたいと思います。

It was so much fun! The teacher was also very knowledgable in everything regarding Japanese archery and gave us many funfacts. He was also very kind in his way of teaching and was patient with us, even when doing some mistakes over and over again. I would recommend borrowing the traditional clothes, it really adds up to the experience :)

Way more fun than I expected! It was just my sister and I, so it felt more personal. Wasn’t too hard to do. Would definitely recommend! It’s also not out of the way. It’s right across from the Peace Memorial Park.
