Fun place to take pictures! It’s not a big place so you won’t need to spend a lot of time here. Worth the visit if you’re looking for something different and quick to do.

I REALLY wanted to enjoy this place but it really just was not worth it at all. There was maybe 1 or 2 installations that were decent but it overall was very cheesy. I went through the entire "museum" in about 20 minutes, if that. And you have to book your ticket online. I came in with no advanced ticket (because I didn't know when i'd get around to visiting) and I had to sit and pull up the website on my phone and pay. Why they don't have a way for you to book a ticket when you get there is beyond me.

Fun and inspiring art on LA history and music. Great opportunities to take pictures, touch art pieces, and get to see all different styles. Super clean, with sanitizing between each group.

JAMNOLA is such a beautifully eclectic arts space! You're enthusiastically encouraged to touch and explore all of the exhibits, which are truly amazing and delightful to behold. Adults, teens, kids, EVERYONE was enjoying their visit here. And the gift shop was a wonderful surprise, as well. I got a sticker that says " You are sunshine in human form"! LOVE IT!

As a native New Orleanian I love tapping into the non traditional events and activities that the city has to offer. So after following Jamnola on social media it was time to check it out in person. I would describe my experience like this : whimsical, authentic, interactive, historical, and oh you're gonna dance. Every time you enter a new area it's a completely different experience yet they all connect and tell the story of all things New Orleans. It's not a huge space so you're able to see everything that's featured. The gift shop has a huge variety of items with budget friendly prices. I do wish that a team member would've escorted or checked in with me since I was by myself touring the space I think that would have created a more memorable experience.

Horrible. Not a "funhouse", not an art gallery. Not a museum. Not an hour either. Super small. No interesting art or stories. Definitely not worth $35. Maybe $5?

It was such a rich experience. So much more than I anticipated. The art was and is so beautiful! The tour guide was amazing. I learned so much about the history of the carbs worn for Mardi Gras, etc. I had a totally different thought about it all. Our tour was great!!

This was a fantastic experience! We loved everything about it … the artists “rooms”, the photo ops, and the story tellers, (Josh was excellent!). It definitely lived up to its name … especially the JOY part!!

i got to give it 5 stars bc of the staff and the fact that it’s a museum /something to do but it’s not an hour more like 20 minutes! the second exhibit and the last one was the best for me bc who doesn’t like a back story and lil wayne (the goat) 🔥🔥🔥

Somebody told us this was a really fun, if low budget, experience, so we went. We agree that it is low budget once you get inside but the ticket prices, at more than $30 per ticket, seem high for what you get. I think it would be worth it if the ticket prices were less than $20. It’s a pretty quick interactive loop with different exhibits reflecting New Orleans. Fun, interesting, but too expensive. For us, the best part was walking from the French market through the Fabourg Marigny neighborhood to get there, and seeing all the brightly colored homes with so much character, what a joy! We were early for our appointment to Jamnola so we walked further into the Bywater neighborhood and that was so cool. I can partially recommend Jamnola, but I can highly recommend getting out of the French Quarter, and exploring some of the neighborhoods that you might not see otherwise. What a delightful city once you see it from that lens.
