5 Star Marine James Bond Island Day trip was amazing! Joon our tour guide and our captains Ning and Rit were great! They helped us see how beautiful Phuket and surrounding nature and lagoons really are in a private and non crowded casual way. Perfect day! Booking and communication with the company was also phenomenal and fast and easy!

The highlight of our trip, from the first contact with them, until transferred back to our hotel, the service was friendly, informative and professional. There were 10 in our family with 2 non swimmers and they designed an itinerary to suit our interests. They had 3 staff on board that looked after us like family. We did snorkelling off the boat and also an island, visited a floating village, canoeing from the boat into some unbelievable caves and then walked into a large cave, followed by lunch at a restaurant that we selected on a Island. We all agreed that it was definitely the highlight of our trip to Phuket and highly recommend it.

We have recently been on two tours with 5 Star Marine. Both experiences have been unforgettable as we celebrated an Anniversary and a birthday. The service we received was 100% professional and committed in providing a VIP service. From planning our trip a year ago 5 Star responded to any of my messages even if I repeated my questions and responded late at night. The crew we had on tours demonstrated being polite, friendly and that showed that they love what they do. They treated us like VIP’s throughout the trip. I would 100% recommend them and will be back for another tour.

We decided to splash out on a private charter, and we weren't disappointed. Communication from start to finish was excellent, and always wanted to check how they could make our day special. Our son Jack is type 1 diabetic so our only need was sugar free drinks, and they didn't disappoint..with 3 choices. We met our guide Nicky & Crew. Nicky's English was excellent, and he paid special attention to Jack involving him in the trip & decisions. We travelled to ice cream cave first, with Nicky explaining all the different names of things making sure we were safe & watching our step..our first adventure As we were leaving around 70 people were coming into the cave...at this point I was glad we had a private charter ! Next Stop was another set of caves, where locals take you in canoes to see the sights. I was going to stay on the boat, but Nicky told me I should go & experience....so I trusted him & I'm glad I did. It was very busy, but our guides made it fun, cracking jokes & taking pictures. After around 30mins we returned to our crew. From there we travelled to James Bond Island...the crew helped us off the boat & Nicky escorted us around, taking pictures & telling us the history of the 2 Islands prior to the filming of James Bond..very informative. James Bond Island was very very busy...but Nicky made it feel like we were the only ones there... We climbed some steps to get better views & down the otherside, waiting for the crew to collect us...again...feeling so blessed to have our own boat & Crew. Next Stop was Lunch..we travelled to the floating village, again Nicky explained the history of how it was established, hoe it was originally a floating village but now it connected to the base, had power etc.. We stopped at local restaurant, saw live seafood but decided on chicken dishes. After lunch we toured the village, 3000 residents live here..with a school, and mosque, again Nicky escorted us & was so informative. We saw some young thai children selling souvenirs & let's just say it pulled on my hearts strings & I bought things I didn't need & paid alot...lol ....but I made 2 children smile ...money well spent Returning to the boat Nicky said let's hit the beach...but honestly we were shattered so asked to return to base. No problem...this was our boat & our crew for the day...Perfect! So, whilst it was a splurge...I'd do it again in a heart beat...for space, privacy, tailored, and one on one experience. Highly recommend 5 Star Marine from start to finish ! We'll be back

Wonderful trip; nothing was too much trouble for the crew. We also had flexibility to change things up as after lunch wanted to find a secluded beach to just swim and relax. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Spent an incredible day around the islands in Phang Nga Bay, thanks to Jimmy, our guide, the captain and the boat crew member. The tour was tailored to the weather conditions and our preferences as first-time travellers to Thailand, while also avoiding the overcrowded and touristy areas. Everything was quickly and easily sorted from the booking process to communication and pick-up on the day. Jimmy made amazing recommendations, regaled us with many tales and took great pictures we still happily look through to remember the experience. Everybody was very kind and accommodating, both in the office and on the boat, with breakfast snacks, fresh fruit and drinks served throughout the day. Would definitely recommend kayaking around the islands and exploring the caves. We will rebook when we return to Phuket.

This is our second trip with five star marine. The first time we went was in 2023 with Sexy Billy and his crew. They were a lough and provided us with such a great day out on the water seeing a range of things throughout the day. This time we were with Ning and her crew. She customized our trip to ensure we were seeing and experiencing new things. Another amazing trip and I would highly recommend this company to all. We spend about 8 hours out visiting 6 different locations including James Bond island. Highlights were also caving, getting kayak around by locals at one of our stops. Visiting the floating village, visiting their local school and lunch.

This has to be one of the best trips we have ever chosen. 5 Star Marine were so professional and organised from start to finish. We booked a private tour which gave us freedom and choice without the crowds, I would highly recommend a private tour. We were kept up to date by WhatsApp and email which was very useful. The transfer was on time and the vehicle was certainly VIP. We were met by Alex who explained the day and activities we were doing. Alex and the team were highly professional and informative. The cave canoeing was first class and Alex was brilliant in explaining everything we needed to know. We never came across any other tours so we had the caves to ourselves. James Bond island was busy but great for a photo. Overall this is a great tour with excellent staff who were always at hand if we needed anything. Again thank you Alex for your knowledge and professionalism and the rest of the team. Also thank you for my wife’s birthday gift this made the day even more special. We did a private boat tour to Phang Nga Bay/James Bond Island, just my wife and I. The day was phenomenal. We started off with a slow cruise as we entered the bay, taking in the beautiful island that are so unique and indescribable. Then we docked and took in James Bond Island. Next was being paddled in a canoe through mangroves and rock formations. Stunningly peaceful and serene. Next was a delicious lunch at the village built on the water on stilts. Then into the canoe again to explore a dark cave with flashlights before it opened up into another dreamlike lagoon open at the top with high rock walls. Finally at stop at a small beach all to ourselves where we swam and fresh fruits were brought out to us while we sat on a beach mat. We thought this trip was worth it for the jaw dropping scenery alone, but add in the personal service we received and it truly became an amazing, unforgettable experience. We had a 2 person boat crew that constantly took care of our every need, but the star of the show was our tour guide—Sexy Billy, a funny knowledgeable, 10 out of 10 guide. We felt so fortunate that we just happened to get him by the luck of the draw. Just can’t say enough about how pleased we were with our trip. Thanks again so much to everyone involved.

5 Star Marine started coordinating with our group from the moment we made our reservation. Excellent communication and often. The tour itself was wonderful--beautiful scenery, fun activities and the guides really took care of us. Our group of 29 had people who wanted to order food from 5 Star and others who wanted to stop at the fishing village to go to a local restaurant. 5 Star made it happen and everyone was happy !

We were recommended to 5 Star Marine by a friend in Bangkok. The service they offered was amazing, they delivered on every aspect of our tour. The service and guide were top notch and we loved every minute. Will recommend them to others without hesitation. Even the photos they shared were a nice bonus.

An amazing day. Shaun has created a great company to totally care for guests from the moment of pickup until the end of the day. A special shout out to Joon and his shipmates for their kindness, seamanship in backing into that cave, and their tireless efforts to ensure we had the best possible day. I would be remiss in not also recognizing the wonderful and abundant lunch prepared by Mrs. Shaun. We were picked up across the island (peninsula) where our cruise ship was anchored. A very comfortable van transported four of us to the marina. Joon was snapping pictures all day long. From enjoying the scenery and the boat ride to swimming and exploring the caves and of course James Bond Island it was a wonderful day. The weather was very cooperative as well. Flexibility is the name of the game for Joon and his team. We appreciated that someone was always near by, the cooler was fully stocked, the extra effort that went into cutting our fresh fruit snack into special shapes. When it was time for lunch we pulled up to a beach. We elected to eat on the boat. The 5 Star team gave us some privacy during lunch by taking their lunch onto the beach. We can't recommend 5 Star Marine more highly.

Traveled with a group of 6 friends. Our guide, driver and 1st mate were excellent. Personalized the for us trip. Got us to the quiet beach’s before the crowds. Took great care of us. Great day start to finish. Joon and his team took great care of us. Transport to and from the pier was seamless and lunch on board was delicious. Highly recommend!

Family trip 5 people (Australian) Hired a private boat just for us Yes it has a price attached, however we got exactly what we wanted, when we wanted it. So well worth it! From the start we had great communication via email and then the team setup a WhatsApp group for finer detail. Turned up and ‘sexy billy’ was our tour guide/ comedian/ photographer/ cheerleader Boat has tour guide, driver and deckhand on board who all look after you, boat was very clean, full shade cover and toilet on board. Big esky with water and soft drink provided onboard. We left at 06:45 which was perfect, we were the first people into the ice cream caves (free) and then to the canoe’s (included) So peaceful without anyone else around. James Bond island (pay 300baht cash each - national park fee) secluded beach for swimming, floating town, islands islands islands.. the choice is all yours on a private tour. We were passing the long tail boats with no shade provided and other boats with 50 people crammed on them, that’s when you know the money spent was worth it. As soon as a big boat turns up full of people, just tell the crew to find a new spot and off we go 😊 Everyone made it a very smooth experience and one we will recommend.

We used 5 Star Marine for transfers to and from our resort on Khao Yao Yai and the airport. We then did 2 excursions with them, snorkle/scuba and James Bond Island with kayaking. They did an amazing job! I can not say enough great things about 5 Star Marine! Everything was very well organized, timely and efficient. The staff was amazing and so informative and helpful! We would highly recommend 5 Star Marine!

We actually did two separate tours with this company on two separate days and both were absolutely incredible. It was very well organized, with our guide making extra time for bonus excursions when possible. Our guide Ning and the rest of the boat crew were amazing and helpful and made sure to make sure we were taken care of. Our safety was their number one priority. The scenic stops were absolutely breathtaking, with plenty of opportunities for pictures and activities like swimming, exploring, snorkeling. I would strongly recommend this company.
