We had the most excellent guide named Abdul!! He was like a walking Google. He knows everything and will cater to your wishlist. We’ve traveled all over the world for my husband being a Journalist and me bring an International Flight Attendant, and he was one of the best we’ve ever met! Congrats for having him as your asset! Raju met us in the location and time as planned. We walked around The outside of the palace and went into the temple to see the worship of Krishna - that was really interesting with singing and prayers. We then got a tuk tuk to the east gate and walked through the fruit and veg market and the flower market. That was really interesting and Raju gave us lots of information about things. Then we walked through all the different areas - marble carvers, spice market , sari sellers , jewellers etc. It seemed almost Moroccan in the little alleyways. We stopped for masala chai and went into the mustard oil press and a food producers - then to sample some of the breakfast snacks and some of the white sweet almost dessert. Despite our hesitation about eating things from the streets , Raju reassured us these were the best clean and safe places to - and 24 hrs on , we are both fine ! Raju was helpful and chatty for most of the trip but was on the phone for the last hour so our information dried up then - I know he had a problem he was trying to sort so we didn’t mind , but I would have liked the flow of information to carry on. So an interesting and entertaining tour , going to alleyways I would never have dared go to on my own, and I think I would have given it a more rave hreview if it hadn’t been for the time Raju spend on the phone. Thank you.

We had a wonderful walking tour with Viru today. He was super informative (and answered our many, many questions) and we learned so much about Jaipur, Rajasthan and Indian foods and culture more generally. One of the best walking tours we've been on. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Jaipur.

What an experience!!! The guide Raju was very knowledgeable and explain the history, culture of Jaipur very well. I got to see all the local secret places and experience some delicious local delicacy. I'm so glad I decided to take the walking tour because I saw so many things that tourists won't see unless you know someone from Jaipur.

Thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour this morning. We saw so many things tucked away in the back streets that we could have never seen by ourselves. Our guide, Viru, was interesting and informative and always made sure that we were safe and comfortable. The walk far exceeded our expectations and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

I was lucky enough to have Raju as a tour guide two times. First time we were in Jaipur for a city tour and a food tasting evening. He was on-time, very polite and very knowledgeable about the temples and places we visited. Later we tasted a lot of different local food, so much that I could even not finish them. The second tour with Raju was in company of my son in Amber - we visited small, old, hidden temples in the old city - he told a lot about local history, religion, legends, etc. On the end we could taste the beautiful meal of his Mom. If you have the opportunity to eat in his house, DO IT :) It was really delicious!

I had a great time with Raju walking around Jaipur. The fort was amazing! The Hall of Mirrors was brilliant! Also, the lunch I had with a local family in their own home was great! They were very warm and welcoming to me. Raju was great to answer all of my questions.

The tour with Rajiv was very interesting. Raju has a great command of English and was able to explain historical and cultural information about India and Jaipur, whilst keeping the tour interesting. We visited a number of places, including a Hindu temple, flower market and marble production area. The tour lasted just over 3 hours, which was enough time for us.

Few days ago I did walking tour in Jaipur with Raju and I must say that it was the best experience I could have ever gained. He is not only the guide who gives you information you will forget soon anyway, he is the guide who will give you experience you will never forget for your entire life. He took me to awesome places, explained very interesting facts, knew answer to all my questions, shared interesting stories one will remember such as the Ganesha one! And he also really cares and wants you to enjoy, he loves his job and you can feel it from him every minute you spend with him. We also did some extraordinary unforgettable activities such as feeding monkeys together! I have never had so many of them around me! Woooow! Then we went to visit the poor areas and we shared some candies with children, the happiness we created in them with such a little thing will always stay in my heart. In each place he knows the best spots for photos and the most interesting facts so one never gets bored. For him it's always important that you enjoy so you really do enjoy! If you ever visit Jaipur, be sure you take this tour with him, you will bring home something that will stay in your heart and your mind forever.

My walking tour with my already friend Raju was incredible. He really cares about the city and the experience of us as a foreigher. Raju knows every secret place from the city and try to avoid the more turistic areas for you to feel a more local experience. The day after we were to Amber Palace and after that we went to visit his friend elephant ride´s company where I could paint and ride one of their elephants. Raju my man! It was amazing to meet you and I hope everything goes great with you and your family!

Raju was amazing! His walking tour of Jaipur was the highlight of our India experience, and excellent value for money. He was there to meet us at the pickup point, and immersed us in the local experience of Jaipur city over several hours. He took us to places we would never have otherwise experienced. I can't recommend his tour enough. Wear comfy shoes and bring your camera! Robyn & Janice

I first came to know about Raju was when I was watching a BBC television program in the UK. It was hard to trace him but luckily somehow I managed and it was well worth the effort. Well, where shall I start - Raju was a breath of fresh air - me and my husband LOVED him from the minute he came to collect us from the airport. We then wanted to rest a little bit in the hotel and enjoy a good breakfast after a long flight. Raju was very kind and waited for us patiently. The whole of our five days that we had spent in amazing and exciting Jaipur, Raju was very attentive to our needs and not only he was very informative he went the extra mile to make our trip unforgettable. We experienced the real life of the locals and we have seen places which tourist normally don’t get to see which made it even more special. Unfortunately for the rest of our trip in India we couldn’t find such a kind, polite, experienced and a true gem like Raju. He made our trip and filled it with fabulous memories. I am planning a second trip to India and if I will manage to squeeze Jaipur a gain - it will only be because of Raju. I would highly recommend Raju to anyone who would like to experience Jaipur in a unique and exciting way. Lili and Shimmy from London.

I had two days to fill in Jaipur and some idea of what I wanted to see – Raju effectively took my ideas and built the best trip possible out of them.  He made a custom itinerary that included all of the major palaces (water, wind, Amber; as well as Monkey Temple) and provided expert historical explanations.  He knew when to go to avoid the crowds and where to take the best pictures.  Raju knew really cool places off the beaten path – the most amazing step well, the cremation grounds of the royal family, and an area where really friendly monkeys like to congregate.  I expressed an interest in the block printing of fabric done in Jaipur – and he arranged a visit to the Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing (highly recommend); also arranged a bock-printing workshop for me in Sanganer where I got to make two block-printed scarves in addition to learning about the art and seeing how it is done on a commercial scale.  I had an entire afternoon with a very loved and well cared for elephant – absolute highlight of the trip.  And in between – we tried all kinds of great food (even with me being vegan), checked out a real farmers market, saw how the marble artisans create their sculptures, and toured historic laneways with beautiful Havelis.  Bonus – Raju is genuinely fun to hang out with! Great for solo female Traveller.

Raju was very knowledgeable and kind. He was our tour guide in Jaipur and was very honest. About the tour itself, he explained many things about the places we visited and gave us some ideas about their culture. We even asked him about shopping and sim card, he did his best to get us one, at the same local price which was rare as people like to cheat foreigners off regarding this sim card matter. Along the way when we were visiting the places, he would show us the best places to get some snacks, lassi and dessert. Overall, I think he was very genuine and loved his job every much, he was even our photographer and has amazing photography skills.

My friend and I were in Jaipur for some days, and the best thing that we had in our stay was to meet Raju who showed us Jaipur. He loves his city and he transmitted that in every place that we visited. He is very kind and helpful. I totally recommend to do a tour of the city with him!
