We had a fabulous day with our guide Alssis, he made sure we were all safe, gave us loads of information and laughs, and even took the trouble to take some really creative photos of everyone on the tour. It felt like we really saw the majority of the island and ticked off all the sights we wanted to see :) The only partial negative was where we had lunch, it was quite a sterile restaurant in Espargos, rather than a real genuine Cape Verdian experience. However it was tasty and nice to sit down in the group and chat to everyone.

We had a pleasant trip. I think the tour guides name was Danny. He was super nice and we had a great day.

We had the most amazing trip with Danny as our guide. We loved the paddling with Lemon sharks and the salt water baths. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone going to Sal.

It was a great day, interesting places and a really good guide. He really made sure that everybody was fine, and he really knew what he was talking about.

I have really enjoy the trip with Cabral, we have visited almost all the touristic places in Sal Island. Every place stopped in he gave us enough time to take pictures and even swim sometime and never been in harry . He make us more comfortable and created an atmosphere for the group to interact with each other. I think in Sal Island it is better to take a day tour with Cabral, as he will take to all the spots. Also as the place à bit far from each other it will take more time to visit them by yourself and it will cost you even much more than the tour.

We did the Island tour on friday with Cabral. It was a brilliant day and well worth booking. The 8 hours flew by. Cabral was a great guide speaking to everyone on the tour in different languages and giving everyone plenty of time to ask him questions. He played good tunes all day and when our tour pulled up at various locations we definitely looked to be having the best fun. The lunch was tasty and great value for money. Highlights were paddling with the lemon sharks and the salt lake. All in all a great time and well worth booking with Cabral a local and not tui !!

The perfect tour, relaxed, informative and fun! Cabral is a really cool guy, focused on giving every guest the best experience and not only teaching you about the usual tourist attractions but also about the real cabo verde. Highly recommend this tour over any big/hotel company tours as you will be supporting a local business and spending your day in a small group, guided, but with no stress at all also being able to explore the sites a bit on your own. As a plus, Cabral will take the best pictures with your phone, give further recs for your holiday and help you with anything else you could wish for!

Went on the island tour today and enjoyed every second. Company owner (Cabral) was the perfect host, attentive, informative, knowledgeable. Great value for money day out. Saw most of the island from the back of an open top truck. Saw the lemon sharks. Ate in a lovely local restaurant where the food was great value. Visited a fishing village and finished the day relaxing in the salt lake. Went with my teenage daughter and she didn't say "I'm bored " or "do they have wifi " at all!! Both thoroughly enjoyed our day. Highly recommend this company and this tour.

A brilliant day out with Cabral. The tour didn't take place on the day booked due to the weather conditions which proved how keen Cabral was for us to have a good experience. Other operators took their clients out in the rain - whereas Cabral came to our hotel to meet us and explain! The trip went ahead the following day in perfect conditions. We loved the whole trip, especially Shark Bay and it was great to have lunch (a very reasonable price) at a local restaurant in Palmeira, which we would never have discovered on our own. Don't go with anyone else!

Great day out with a wonderful host. Excellent communication throughout from booking to collection. We spent a whole day visiting the island's attractions, and I would thoroughly recommend that anyone visiting Cape Verde experiences one of Cabral's Island Tours. Superb day out and excellent value for money, thoroughly recommend.

Please don’t book with TUI or the guys on the way to the beach. Cabral is the best. So knowledgeable and passionate about the island. Multi lingual, really easy to get along with and very funny aswell. The money is worth it just to spend the day in his company never mind the full island tour! The only negative was the day went so quick because we enjoyed ourselves so much. You won’t be disappointed!

Fab island trip with Tropa. He was very helpful and interesting, answered all our questions. Was very relaxed despite fitting so much in - Kite Beach, Medeira, Palmeira, Blue Eye, lemon sharks and finally the salt lakes. Had lovely lunch at a fab restaurant in Espargos. I bought this island tour for my brother and sister-in-law as a Christmas present for their trip to Cape Verde as part of my SIL’s 50th. From a booking and communication point of view it was brilliant. Kept me up-to-date on pick up and all the info I needed to pass on about the day. I’ll let Steve give the review of how the day went... Island tour absolutely amazing! Out for 8 hours, really brilliant guide. Amongst other stops, we went paddling with lemon sharks! Swimming in a salt lake baked in mud. Lovely lunch with a great birthday cake, absolutely fantastic!

We had an amazing day together with our guide Carlos and ‘paparazzi’. Seen the whole island including shark bay, the salt mines and the blue eye. We bought the pictures the guy made because they were amazing! A big s/o to those guys making our day incredible. Also: it was way cheaper than booking with our travel agent. Saved us around €200,- total!

Great day, small group, the guide explained to us what was the plan and for sure non stress and no rush. Winter time is not the best to see the blue eye but the guide waited to have a bit of sunshine so we can see something, nice lunch at the Fisher village the most exciting was the shark bay and Salinas. Didn't push any moment to buy souvenirs or pay extra stuff. Totally recomended!!!

We have just returned from an amazing week in Sal. We had an amazing full and fun day with Cabral on his island tour, we particularly enjoyed paddling with the lemon sharks. All week Cabral couldn't do enough for us, He picked us up on time and went out of his way to help us, with booking the beach buggys, quads and any transport that we required. It was particularly lovely to meet his family on our last evening. Can't wait for our next visit Lorraine and Steve
