Huge thanks to Monty and Harshita for opening up their home to me and being such welcome hosts. They patiently showed me how to make absolutely delicious dal tadka, gobi masala, jeera rice, aloo masala, kheer and perfectly round chapati (ok, still lots of practice required on the last one…). All while teaching me how to better spice my food (after trying homemade garam masala I can never go back to store bought!), speak some Hindi and have a ton of fun. They really went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and give me a lasting positive experience in India. Would easily recommend this to anyone visiting Jaipur. Thank you both and hope I can return someday soon!

Block printing with Monty was educational and fun! Learning the history behind block printing while creating our own pieces really ties the whole experience together. It was a highlight of my trip!

Wonderful experience! The class was informative, hands on, and welcoming. We cooked in their home, which was lovely! Everything was exceptionally clean and organized for our arrival, and they made the cooking part a breeze. I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in trying Indian cooking. Also their family was exceptionally friendly and made the night very enjoyable to share with them.

I really recommend this to anyone visiting Jaipur. Monty and Harshita welcomed us into their home and taught us so much about Indian food and cooking. It was a really fun and interactive way to learn about Indian cooking and we were able to enjoy the food we cooked at the end. Monty and Harshita were great company and this was by far my favourite part about visiting Jaipur!

This was by far one of my highlights! Monty and his family are the so lovely, warm and inviting , so interesting and incredible cooks! They made it feel so easy and we enjoyed delicious food! You will not be disappointed! I feel so grateful me and my mum got to do this whilst visiting Jaipur!

The cooking class is at their cozy home. Both Monty & Harshita are excellent cooks and lovely people with a sweet daughter. I learned a lot of new Indian recipes, spices and techniques. We at the resulting food together and it was all very delicious!

Monty, Harshita and Geena were incredible hosts! I was quite late due to traffic but they still made sure to wait for me before starting, & didn't mind running late. Monty is full of fascinating stories from his travels & him & Harshita are great cooks & teachers. I not only learnt how to cook some great local dishes but the food was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend doing this experience if you're interested in local food & interacting with locals. They even give you the recipes once you’re done so that you can replicate them at home.

Our cooking class with Monty and Harshita was amazing!! My friends and I have been in India for over a month and this cooking class was one of the highlights of our entire trip! Monty and Harshita welcomed us into their home and shared a lot with us about Indian culture and cuisine. All of the ingredients they use are homemade or directly from nearby farms, which was very cool to learn about and delicious. They are very communicative, easy to coordinate with, and friendly! Cannot recommend this experience enough!!

I participated in the cooking class with four other like minded individuals who were on holiday India. Monty and his wife and daughter welcomed us into their house and we were their guests for the evening. We all got chance to be hands on with the cooking and Monty and his wife were very informative about the cooking and the ingredients that we were using. The food that we made tasted amazing and the rice pudding was definitely a game changer for me, so delicious. This is an awesome experience and I would recommend it to anyone. We also got copies of the recipes that we made so we are able to try them at home.

I did the class with my husband and met another couple, from Barcelona. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the meal and loved learning about all the spices. It felt like a great authentic Indian experience and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Jaipur. The family are lovely and we had a great time.

This is an OUTSTANDING experience. Monty and Harshita are wonderful, so welcoming, and fantastic teachers. It felt like spending time with new friends - it’s what good travel is all about.

We loved this cooking class! It was so great going into their home and learning all sorts of things about food and Indian culture. We all cooked together asking many questions along the way and all ate together at the end. The food was delicious!! This was a great memory of India. Would strongly recommend.

We really enjoyed our time with the family, they made us very welcome with flowers and bindi, soft drinks and chat. Cooking experience was relaxed and you will be impressed with their knowledge of food, spices and flavours, how to bring the best out of these. All 5 of us participated (we were 3 and 2 more guests, who were very nice and enjoyed their company). After all authentic dishes were cooked, we participated in chapati making and then sat down together to eat. Good value and best entertainment for foodie fans!

Monty and his family were so welcoming. He was such an interesting host and very hospitable. I really enjoyed our time with the whole family and would 100% recommend this experience to anyone going to Jaipur!

Monty and his family are amazing people, full of joy, passion and knowledge about traveling. The cooking class was very interesting and easy to follow so everybody can attend it - even if you don’t have any experience in the kitchen. Monty was absolutely amazing also in helping us planning the next steps of our trip recommending places, guides and restaurants - all real and not tourist traps. Will totally recommend to anyone who want to get more in touch with a local family.
