I'm a solo traveler here in Kampala for a few days and wanted to explore the city. This was the PERFECT tour for first-time visitors wanting a taste of everything. There was no way I could do this on my own. Fridaus explained various parts of Uganda's history and showed me the main sites. She was so accommodating and even stopped by a bank so I could get some cash for the markets. She was confident, funny, so smart and a delight to be around! As a solo female traveler, I really appreciated having someone to show me around Kampala. Fridaus was so friendly and knowledgeable, as well as very accommodating when I needed to change my tour time. I highly recommend Inside Kampala as a way to see some non-touristy parts of the city as well as major sites.

I really liked the idea of a female guided tour and this surpassed my expectations! It rained sporadically throughout the day, but it didn't matter. Firdaus was so knowledgable and friendly, she made the entire day enjoyable. We started off with the monuments (first president of Uganda, Independence monument and monument dedicated to Ugandan soldiers of WW1 and WW2), then onto an arts and crafts market where I picked up some really nice souvenirs. Then we stopped by the sprawling Owino market, the largest in Kampala which sells pretty much anything you can think of! Next we went visited the Hindu Temple, then the oldest taxi park in the city, and another sprawling market. We finished up at the National Mosque which is a site to behold, it's really beautifully and intricately designed and Firdaus was on hand to share how it all came to fruition. We got some really views of the city from the minaret, but we did have to climb 272 stairs to get them--totally worth it in my opinion! Overall, at the end of the tour I felt as though I had a real understanding of the rich history of Kampala. Firdaus was a really great guide and I can't recommend her highly enough. If you're visiting the city this tour should 100% be on your list of things to do, you won't regret it!!

I went to mosque and one staff guided there for me. Of course, the mosque is so nice as sightseeing place. Moreover, the guide was also incredible. She answered all question about Uganda and was very friendly. I think she made my tour wonderful experience. I recommend you to visit there to have fun and learn about Uganda.

Went to visit the Mosque and surroundings, and ended paying the entrance to visit it. It has been an excellent decision as Fridaus, my guide that day, took me to all the corners of the Mosque, with plenty of details. The views of Kampala from the minaret are without doubt the best in whole Kampala. Really worth yo see!
