Roman made the night fun and educational. Tucked in an underground cellar, the venue in itself is interesting. My friends and I enjoyed all the wine served, plus the tasty meat, grapes and cheeses that goes well with it. We had experienced smelling different aromas that go with the wine that we had to guess! Something different from other wine tasting. A visit to Zurich should always come with Italian wine tasting! Thanks, Roman!

We had an amazing evening with Roman with a unique tour of wines from Italy . The antipasti served with the wine tasting was very good and Roman was the perfect host, knowledgeable, incredibly professional and funny. We learnt how to smell, taste and enjoy our wines. What a great time! Roman created such a welcoming, cosy and enjoyable atmosphere and presented the array of wines in an engaging and interactive way. Throughout the experience we learned not only the history of the wines but also tips on how to drink the wine and we tested our sense of smell. I booked the wine tasting to celebrate my husband birthday with a group of friends and we all had the best time! Roman taught us many interesting facts about wine while also giving us fun activity which we all enjoyed. Not to mention the delicious aperitif that were served and the wine were top ! Knowing next to nothing about wine, this lesson/tasting-in-a-bunker was an amazing experience to have. The man even offered up something of a lunch In the form of a charcuterie board that was exquisite mixed with the white wine. My group had 2 white wines and 1 red wine that were to die for. Thankfully because of the great tour guide he taught us how to analyze the scent and taste of the wines which was crucial to the overall experience. I had a blast and learned a lot about wines that I didn’t know before

This was one of the HIGHLIGHTS of our trip and favorite activity in Switzerland. Roman was very informative and kind. The wine was delicious. We were comfortable, entertained, intoxicated, and had a blast! The Italian appetizer spread was to die for. Roman’s wife made a homemade frita for my family which was fresh and delicious along with a meat and cheese board that we devoured. If I could rate this experience 6/5 stars, I would. If you do anything in Zurich, make it be this!

Our experience with Roman was fantastic! We are from the state of Michigan and have experienced many wine tastings…this was our favorite by far. We learned so much about the wine process and what is involved to making wine, smelling wine and tasting wine. Roman answered all our questions and was a generous and kind host. The tasting room in a bunker was unique and comfortable. I would highly recommend this 3 hour tasting and experience. Thank you, Roman! If ever we are back in Switzerland we will visit again.
