IT WAS DEFINITELY A BREATHTAKING EXPERIENCE. WE WERE EXTREMELY SATISFIED AND HAPPY WITH ALL THE SERVICE OFFERED BY AURORA IN ALASKA. ME AND MY WIFE WOULD LIKE TO HIGHLIGHT ALL THE ORGANIZATION, TIMELY FEEDBACK AND GREAT EMPHASIS ON THE GUIDE NICK WHO WAS INCREDIBLY ATTENTIVE, PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL. ALL THE STRUCTURE AND ALL THE DETAILS WERE REALLY THOUGHT OUT TO OFFER THE BEST FOR US AND OTHERS WHO WERE ON THE TOUR. WE LOVE EVERYTHING!!!!

Nick, was awesome, only if all guides were like him. He was personable, professional and created a wonderful experience. We had a fantastic fire roasted reindeer dogs, drank hot chocolate and pop popcorn. Nick took photos, and helped everyone with their cameras. I will definitely refer ING this tour to everyone for winter sightseeing of the Aurora

Nick was our guide for the tour and he was fantastic! He was so engaging, funny and knowledgable about all things Alaska. We ended up having perfect sightings of the Aurora Borealis. Even the pictures from my old smart phone turned out really well. I cannot wait to see the ones that Nick took with a high-end digital camera!. We had a fun group of people and I really enjoyed sitting around the campfire talking with everyone, trying reindeer sausage, and popcorn made in a whirly-pop popcorn maker over the open fire. It was such a great night and experience for my very first trip to Alaska. Anyone looking to book an Aurora Borealis tour, do yourself a favor and go with this tour company!

Super amazing trip! I’d rank it a 20 out of 10! My details - solo traveller, came to Fairbanks for the Aurora, was concerned about going into the wilderness w strangers and no cell service in a foreign country. I’m from Toronto Canada - city slicker. Here r the amazing things that happened * transport - it’s a high ceiling van - lots of air flow! Luxurious actually, appreciated the grab bars and extra step for coming out onto ice/snow. *Nick was amazing - told us when it was going to be bumpy, gave us light for the outhouse, super knowledgeable, gave us heat (very cool fire gizmo - no smoke in the eyes) showed us a movie about the science of the Aurora (yes, I’m a geek) AND it was a version I could understand. *Nick helped w the settings on my phone AND took as many pics as we wanted w his Ferrari level camera (I forget the brand). *Nick took us to 2 locations in the boonies and was in as much awe as us when the Aurora really was active. *during set up - Nick put out coffee, hot choc, hot water so we had access whenever we wanted. *fire area - seats for everyone provided! Was available the whole time. *cool tunes throughout the night * van was heated throughout the night - I hit my threshold at 3 am - was fine in the van after that *Nick made us fresh popcorn! With a whirlypop! Very old school and cool! *offered us reindeer meat - didn’t try it but ppl said it was good *on the way back gave us good info about things to do while we are here *on the way back - showed us a time lapse video of what we just saw - didn’t even see him set up the tech! *I am Nick’s biggest fan - high five Nick - wishing you success in all your endeavers - thank you for making this bucket list item so phenomenal! *also - great communication via text - I was working w only wifi from hotel. This company knows their stuff and implemented the trip very well!

Oustanding - We were thoroughly impressed by the organization, the support provided by the guides, and the overall outcome. It's worth every penny and deserves to be ranked among the top attractions on Farebank.

Good itinerary of the tour. Nice setting with the bon fires and the snacks, very friendly staff. Unfortunately the best part of the tour, the photo memories, turned out to be very disappointing for some of us. My face on the aurora photo is very blurred, cannot print it out or frame it as planned, looks bad even on a small file. The photographer was confirming after each photo if they looked fine, wish I was told mine was ruined so we could retake it. It was kind of chaotic with many people cutting the photo line and asking for multiple shots. I would recommend explaining better how the whole thing works before people get to the camera. If we knew we had multiple shots included, we would have gone 3 or 4 times more to make sure at lease one photo would be fine. Left a bad feeling as this is an amazing memory that it was pretty much ruined for me. I would recommend other tours with a small group where you get your photos taken with care and you don't have to deal with arrogant people thinking they are on a private photo session.

Great experience with tour guide Tony. Got picked up at my hotel which is really convenient. The lights were beautiful and Tony and other guide helped us get some quality pics with our own cameras/phones. I highly suggest wearing warm boots. The only thing that got cold was my feet.

This was an amazing tour! Well organized, great communication from the company, and the best part of all is that they worked very hard to find the perfect spot to see the Aurora! They also provided tripods for your phone, chairs, and yummy snacks and drinks during the tour. Wow, such a magical experience. I would highly recommend this tour and would definitely do it again if we return to Fairbanks in the future! Thank you to our amazing guides for a wonderful experience.

Highly impressed and recommend this company for Northern Lights tours. They are one of the few companies that offer an Aurora guaranty and allow you to cancel within a certain time period. They also work great with single travelers and don’t change extra for being solo. Day of our tour, they kept us up to date via text and email. The weather was terrible and we were offered the chance to cancel with a refund, re-book another day, or take a chance without the guaranty. Since it was my last night, I opted to try. So did 7 other people. They keep checking for Aurora reports and kept us up to date all day. Nick was our guide and picked up the group. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He explained how far we were going for clear skies and was very hopeful. Well, he was right! We found it and he got us set up asap to get photos and explain the lights. After this stop, we drove on to an amazing frozen lake where he set up cameras on the ice, a fire pit and snacks by the van. Again he was amazing with pictures and made sure everyone got as many pics as they wanted and in every pose imaginable. Nick was awesome! I can’t rave enough about his people skills, Aurora finding, and photography skills. This was such an amazing night! I highly recommend Aurora in Alaska. Very professional company that tries hard to make their guests happy. My only concern might be the group size. We only had 8 people in our group. But we were told the groups can get rather large with several vans. Despite this, I would still book with them again and recommended them to anyone hoping to see the lights.

The team is very accommodating. We had our flights delayed (and then cancelled) from anchorage to Fairbanks on the day of the tour. We decided to road trip to Fairbanks but were unsure if we would make it by the tour time. I contacted the tour operator to see if they can move my booking to the next day. Nick was very prompt in understanding and helping me, he quickly moved our tour to the next day while also suggesting some awesome places in anchorage. On the day of the tour our guide was Tony, he was a very knowledgeable guide, not only he gave info about the aurora, but he also had tons of knowledge about Alaska, it was good to chat with him. We were able to see amazing views of aurora, they had a very nice setup at the view point to make you feel cozy in the cold. I would highly recommend taking this tour.

I had a trip with this team on 03/05/2024. I should wait to let it all sink in, but want to get all my notes in. 1. The team typically carries a huge van of 8-10 people, if there’s more in the group, they have multiple vans and guides. This is great because your intimate group can always have conversations with your guide. We had Nick and Tony (and Brandon!!) such a fanstastic trio. Their energy and enthusiasm to ensure we were engaged was phenomenal. 2. We had a ‘not so great’ aurora forecast that day. We were informed all throughout the day by Nicole (again exceptional service) of the changing weather/prediction situations, she even offered different dates if we wanted to take it. We were eventually told there’s a pocket of clear sky we’d try out at and maybe there’s a 50% chance of seeing the aurora. We took the chance! 3. Nick and Tony drove us out 45 minutes north to find good viewing points with clear skies and to our surprise, we saw auroras right as we parked our camp. The sight was breathtaking, Nick and Tony continued to set up cameras, encouraged people in our group to get pictures and even took the time out to help shy/not very picture inclined folks like my husband and I with different portraits. 4. After the unexpected yet amazing sighting, they went on to set up campfires and foood/drinks for us. Again, exceptional service that I cannot recommend enough. 5. It was 12:30 by then and we had seen/captured plenty of auroral activity, they then took us to a few different spots where we could see auroras with different backdrops - trees, flat landscape, etc. ensuring we get the best experience. 6. We departed thoroughly spent yet so full in our hearts. The team led us from place to place with enthusiasm and gusto to ensure we had the best experience. They ensured we stayed out for as long as there was auroral activity. Idk, we wouldnt have known any different had we parked at a spot right? We saw the auroras! And yet they took us around and were incredibly patient and encouraging with pictures. I cannot recommend these guys and the tour enough!!! Please go with them if you are in Fairbanks. Of all the tours I’ve been at, this is atleast in the top 3 of how amazing the experience was (and auroras were the bonus!) special shoutout to Brandon on moosewatch! We didn’t see/hit a moose so it’s a win!

Of all the Aurora tour companies I looked into, this was more expensive. However, I chose them because they offer a 100% guarantee while other companies indicate "no guarantee". With Aurora in Alaska, you will see the Aurora or you get your money back. I also knew they would take photos of you, which you get included in the price. Believe me--you want to leave the photography duty to them (unless you are a pro). I wanted to make sure I had photos with the Aurora, and those I have! Thanks to them. They provide hot drinks, adult beverage, and reindeer sausages to enjoy at the bonfire. The crew was great--each and every one of them. Read the company's description to understand how it works. It's not complex, so take it for what it says. I met others throughout my time there, who signed with other companies that were cheaper but did not offer a guarantee. They lost their money because the Aurora never happened for the night they paid. Remember you get what you pay for.

From booking thru the entire experience this was among our top travel adventures. Nichol was awesome in guiding us to select best options,, communicated consistently including letting us know of forecast and option to cancel or rebook and then updated us when forecast improved Kevin was a great driver and photographer, Andrew was a terrific guide, both sought out best opportunities to catch the Aurora, checked out many sights till they found the.best for viewing and setting up camp fire and cookout. Even had Vegan options for sausage. Highly recommend this company.
