We were a small group, it almost felt like a private tour. The food places, including the K-Fried Chicken venue were excellent in food and ambience. Our tour guide, Jeff was so friendly, funny, full of information about the food, Korean dining/drinking cultures and norms, as well as great company all through the evening. He even went over the allotted time tour. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone.

This should have been the first thing to do in Seoul, a nice evening to get to know the “food culture” in Seoul. So much to eat and no idea what or where? This tour will introduce you to delicious dishes in a very friendly and fun atmosphere… at least that was my experience, thanks a lot!!!!

Bre was so much fun! Our group was pretty large but she did a great job making us all feel included and got us all talking to each other. She shared with us some important cultural experiences and did a great job juggling everyone. Her personal experiences and anecdotes were fun and made us all feel very welcome, relaxed and enjoyable. Also, big thanks to Lauren! Fried chicken wouldn't have been the same without you. Glad we added it on. It was definitely a ton of food and drinks but we had a great time.

This was such a fun experience! We were a small group (me — a solo traveler — and a lovely couple from Scotland along with our guide Hannah) and the places, meals and drinks were amazing. These are places I wouldn’t have gone to on my own; it was great having someone who spoke the language. 10/10. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Great food and drink, great job by Joe, great company. Excellent restaurant choices, learned the local cuisine and culture. You definitely get your moneys worth, no way you can eat everything that’s served up and you’ll have some drinks you won’t find anywhere else. Highly recommend.

Glad I booked this food tour for my first evening in Seoul. Traveling solo, I knew it would be hard for me to eat kbbq on my own, since I would have to order at least two portions, in addition to navigating the language barrier. My day started at 5 a.m., so it was nice to give my brain a break and have our expert tour guide Hannah introduce us to some of the best food that Seoul has to offer while exploring a less touristy area of the city. The food was delicious, with my favorite being the pork kbbq’s “seagull” (skirt steak) cut of meat, the minari jeon, and the makgeolli we tried. Hannah was also helpful in offering other tips for exploring Seoul, such as advising me to visit Hongdae for street art, as the art in Ihwa Mural Village had largely been painted over. I enjoyed the conversation as well, and certainly learned a thing or two (ski dancing/ballet, anyone?). Would recommend this tour.

My husband and I had a great night with Hannah, the three restaurants Hannah took us too were amazing, the food was excellent, drinks flowing and engaging conversation. I thoroughly recommend this to anyone wanting a truly authentic experience in Seoul.

Joe, owner was amazing. So knowledgeable and fun. He picked the most perfect spots for us to enjoy authentic South Korean cuisine. Probably one of our most favorite food tours ever.

The three stops in very different settings made this an interesting way to spend the evening. The food and drinks were great at each location. What really set the tour apart was our host Ron. He was a rock star. We got lost on the way to the meeting location and he patiently helped us on the way with maps and phone calls. Once we were with the group he made sure we fit in even though we were late. He also gave us interesting perspectives on the food and culture. He even checked to make sure we got back to our hotel safely. We could not have asked for a better evening on our first night in Seoul.

As a solo traveler, doing BBQ in Seoul would have been tough so this tour helped me experience what I probably won't have alone. Ron was a fantastic guide and made us all feel instantly comfortable. As a solo female traveler I was a little nervous but the two couples in the group were so friendly and fun! The BBQ joint was where Anthony Bourdain had been which was really neat! I've been to kbbq but not in Korea so getting to have that authentic experience was great! And then makgeolli, fried food, and the jeon were so good too! We ended with chicken and beer and played an easy drinking game. I really enjoyed the comradery and getting to know the other travelers. Funny enough one of the couples was staying in the same hotel as me! If you're looking for an authentic experience going to BBQ and other restaurants, check it out! If you're a solo traveler, this was a great way to meet new people and have a shared experience! Thank you again to Ron!

This was the absolute best!! Our guide Hannah was lovely and amazing!! I could have stopped after the first place! The Korean bbq place was perfect full of local! The food was beyond amazing!!! The next stop was so fun and then it hit us that we still had one more stop!!😳 The third stop push me over the edge!!🤣 I hit a food wall and needed a nap! We went in having zero expectations and came out beyond pleased!! This tour is worth every penny!!! I highly recommend!!!!

The guy that hosted that trip was so nice but I was a solo girl and he got me really drunk and took advantage of me being alone. I really felt uncomfortable and I wouldn’t recommend people take this tour.

Some food tours give you a few small snacks and some little sips of alcohol, not this one! Come hungry and ready to drink! Jeff stuffed us full of KBBQ, pancakes, fried chicken, beer, and more!

We had such a great time! We would have really missed some unique experiences if not for Joe and this tour. We ate, we drank, we sang and laughed. I’d recommend this tour to anyone.

The tour was great fun with Jeff , providing a great insight on the Korean culture and history. Onion on sale was a master piece.

This is an immersive, small group tour. Joe was our guide and he was an excellent host. We learned to cook "sea gull meat" and it was delicious! This was so delightful that I am trying to figure out how to replicate this in my backyard. Joe gave us a wonderful background and history as we prepared our grilled pork in a traditional and unique restaurant. The food was delicious and we learned about Korean cooking and drinking rituals. When we thought we couldn't eat another bite, Joe took us to a traditional Korean pancake place. We went down a row of fresh seafood, picked out a copious amount, and then our platter was turned into delicious, traditional savory pancakes. We learned about different types of soju and Korean drinking games. Come to this tour hungry, you'll want to eat everything!

No better way to get to know people and a city than eating and drinking your way through an amazing evening. I recommend the three-stops option and to pace yourself. Not only is the food worth it, but moreso is the experience of restaurant/bar hopping with your group and guide. Jeff gave us an awesome time, and shared lovely background on the food, culture, and his own experience living in South Korea. If you are staying here and trying to find a way to familiarize yourself with the city, this tour is mandatory!
