I wanted to experience live opera in Venice but not a full opera. This event was ideal. The costumes, performances and music were very good. I really enjoyed it. Very entertaining and good length.

Wonderful couple of hours. Great music, lots of humour, great costumes. Very intimate. Would definitely recommend.

A brilliant evening's entertainment. We booked this because in Italy you must listen to some opera! I had considered going to a full length production but thought that 3 hours might be too long to sit through so decided on the Baroque costume opera which was a selection of songs from various well known operas. It was tremendous fun as the singers and orchestra were excellent and clearly enjoyed their performance. The singers were fully engaged with each other as welll as the audience and we loved every minute, we were on such a high by the end! We visited all the sights while in Venice and this was the highlight of our trip!

We so enjoyed the evening of Opera. The costumes and the arias were beautiful. We loved that we got a little of so many different Operas and there were so many costume changes. It was about an hour and a half so it was the perfect amount of time. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Great concert! The singing was superb and the orchestra amazing, and the music was magical. A must see show while in Venice.

What a fun experience. The instrumentalists and the singers were obviously enjoying the performance as well...for a performance of baroque and classical music it wasn't boring at all!

This show exceeded my expectations. My wife and I had a wonderful time. The musicians and vocalists were excellent and the venue was beautiful. Everyone in the audience enjoyed the performance. I highly recommend. Please note, this venue does not sell refreshments. There is a small shop to the left the entrance where you can buy water before the show or during intermission. Also, the restrooms are single stalls for men and women. Thus, the lines are long.

I took my mother, who loves this type of music. I’m not a fan of opera, but I really enjoyed these short pieces of some well known operas. We both laughed at the comical facial expressions and antics of the singers.We loved the costumes!

Overall concert was very good, and very entertaining. The chairs were uncomfortable. The musicians and opera singers were delightful.

The theatre is lovely, acoustics are great, singers and musicians are truly excellent. Only caution is the stairs to get to the auditorium on the third floor are very difficult for those with walking difficulties.

The show is only 90mins but in retrospect ample for what is in essence a bit of a 'greatest hits' show. To be honest, I really wasn't quite sure what to expect given the price point of this event. This was based on London prices for opera tickets being prohibitive for most people, so wasn't sure that the quality would be matching a high ticket venue. I couldn't have been more wrong! The show was amazing, from the costumes, to the musicians to venue. Really, really worth a visit if like me you are faced with £200 in your home town to get a similar experience. Would have gone again had they had another show during my stay. Just amazing. If you're curious to know a little more about Opera, it's a great way to get an introduction and feel part of a grand experience. Sadly no photos allowed during the performance but managed to get a slightly grainy photo at the end so pointless posting it but I can confirm what you see is what you get. There is no skimping on the fabulous costumery.

Surprisingly good music and singing for such a small venue/ area. Excellent selection of music pieces. Would recommend/ go again. Best Viator trip in Venice out of 5 that we did, esp value wise.

Not ever done Opera before but this was a really enjoyable evening and a great way to spend a couple of hours in the evening while in Venice.

Highlight of my life! Superlative in the highest. It is an opportunity to step back into time and experience culture with a skill and artistry you simply won’t find elsewhere. Italian Opera is incomparable and must be witnessed first hand to be believed and enjoyed. You will never forget it!

Great show. Talented performers with beautiful costumes and an awesome orchestra.it is well worth the money and your 90 minutes.

Three generations of women (70/45/18/16/14 yrs) took a trip to Venice. This show started our “dress-up night out,” before going to a nice restaurant. I was brought to tears as I sat in the performance feeling overwhelmed by the beauty and talent humans are capable of, and it’s moments like that one (in the presence of loved ones, in such a historic, elegant venue, immersed in instrumental and vocal talent, on vacation) that we all spend our lives scrambling to achieve. I will go to this every time I’m in Venice and highly recommend it.
