The show was fabulous, very entertaining and informative. The food was fabulous and the ambience was perfect. Great nigh would highly recommend.

Amazing show!!! lots of very interesting stories about Cork and Irish history , old cork songs and absolutely fab play of actresses . it was the most energetic show in Ireland i have even seen and very informative above that amazing time spending for any people

The Hysterical Histories provided a memorable night with top stories and great food! The actors were talented and knowledgeable - and incredibly friendly! Would definitely recommend for anybody - even if they think they know everything about Cork

My boyfriend and I were looking for something new and different to do and said we’d try hysterical histories. It was absolutely fantastic! The three girls were very funny and extremely talented! As a history buff/tour guide and proud Corkonian myself,I learned a lot about my beloved city that even I didn’t know. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a laugh, good food and some historical knowledge.

Can't recommend this enough, it's so much fun! The stories are fascinating and the singing is beautiful. Our 2 boys (10 and 8) absolutely howled laughing and raved about it the whole next day. Definitely worth a visit.

Immensely enjoyable experience! We had such a great time and learned so much about the history of Cork (even the Corkonian in the group learned something new-I know, like!) Jealous of the great singing voices and lovely to go down memory lane and hear songs of a childhood-I mean you, Johnny Jump Up! The stories were very well presented -both funny and poignant. Not kitschy or playing to a certain demographic-just the history of Cork done well. Very warm and welcoming personnel made it a very personal experience. The communal table format made for great banter between the groups. Think this would be so useful to secondary school students to bring together all the strands of their knowledge into one coherent piece.

Very welcoming and entertaining, food was delicious! Recommend it! I brought my 10year old daughter who thoroughly enjoyed it, great experience!

A whistle stop account of the history of Cork told in story, song and verse. Lots of humour. Food was very good too.

The show was great!! The actors were exceptional and it was amazing how much history we learned while actually enjoying our time!! Interaction with the audience was wonderful and really drew us it. Oh—and yes!—the food was great!!

The show was not interactive but the audience sitting listening to the actors. Vegetarian meal poor.

Absolutely brilliant evening! Good food and excellent entertainment. A great mix of couples like ourselves, families with young children and families of adults. Extremely talented cast! Well worth the evening!

Hysterical Histories was absolutely amazing! It was so well written and brilliantly performed by the talented cast. It struck the perfect balance of historical interest, beautiful singing and, of course, plenty of laugh out loud moments. Such an entertaining show performed in a lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend for a unique experience and fun night out.

The show was really fun however the food wasn't great. I would go again but not if it was in amicus.

Exceeded expectations. We didn’t know what to expect really but what a fun, informative way to learn the history of the city whilst enjoying lovely food. The actors were so engaging and the two hours flew by. I’ll definitely recommend to my friends for a night of entertainment that’s a bit different to the norm. Just to add in case anyone thinks this would be aimed at tourists, I’m from cork and totally identified with how funny and relatable it was so would recommend any nationality to go to this you won’t be disappointed

The show was "histerical " even my 9 year old laughed all the way through. They did a fantastic job depicting Cork and its Corkonians and we learnt a lot about the city's history . The acting and singing was superb. The cast were mingling with the guests throughout dinner which was lovely. I would definitely recommend

We went to this year's Hysterical Histories show the other day, having wanted to go along in previous years but missed out for various reasons. Myself, my husband and our two youngest girls (9+10) thoroughly enjoyed the dinner (seriously tasty grub, almost licked the dishes clean), and the entertainment during the meal was incredible. There was so much humour packed into the story telling, and then some beautiful moments of sadness (hey, it's history, there are some parts that you just can't make funny!) Loved every single song... But the goat one was a firm favourite with all of us. Some of the songs I knew from growing up, but never actually liked.... I'll tell ya, it's a whole different ballgame when you get the context of the song's stories and hear them being sung with such respect). Hopefully I'll get along next year... If I don't leave it too long to book and find it sold out again (my girls will never let me live that one down 🤣)
