I highly recommend this tour! I've lived in Houston for several years and I learned so much from Rory. Rory is knowledgeable, entertaining, and personable. Lots of great graffiti art, bar history, Houston and Texas history for 2.5 hour tour.

Rory led a great tour of the downtown Houston area!! The 2 small bars we stopped at were so cool & the sculptures & murals & architecture were interesting to learn more about!

This was the best tour I have done in the USA. Our guide Rory transformed Houston from what I thought was a concrete jungle to a city that just lit up!! It was so fun and informative. This is a MUST DO when visiting Houston!!

Rory’s passion for the city and its people was contagious. He brings a new perspective to the roots and cultures of a vibrant neighbourhood, home to a variety cultures and therefore a variety of delicious food. The tour captured some small local restaurants that are pillars in their community, thought provoking street art, and a downtown park buzzing with activity and beauty that evolved from lifeless concrete parking lots. I would highly recommend this activity to tourists visiting the city, and to locals who want to explore and experience their own city from a new perspective.

The perfect way to get an intimate, comical, unique history lesson of Houston! Us Detroiters came away with a whole different view of the city of Houston. Rory was incredibly personable and shared not just history but tons of things to do, secretly great places for drinks and food, and was such welcoming personality to Houston! We’re here for a weekend, but already want to come back with all that he shared with us to do in the area. BOOK THE TOUR!
