I have been horse riding with my friend. I was afraid of the horse 🙈😁, so it was hillarious the way I acted , but Neufrain and the lovely horse owner made me calm 😊. We had such a nice chat with them at the beach, few coronas too 😎. Riding at the beach part was like from movie scenes and then the best part was when we were coming back was night time so we could see all the stars, was so relaxing for body and soul 😍. I was very grateful to my friend for booking the trip and to Neufrain and horse owner for so many hours of good conversations. Cool part is that there was a local beach bar with plenty of local kids playing over there, so much joy in that place, i loved it! So i highly recommend this trip and i promise you it is a one in a life time experience!

Horseback riding was a great experience! We got to see beautiful scenery and very enjoyable horseback riding. We rode for a few hours, stopped at a couple places, and got to eat a delicious breakfast along the way. Our guide was Efrain who helped us with anything we needed and was very nice!

We couldn’t be happier with our trip up to the hot springs with Efrain! He was very knowledgeable about the birds in the area, had some really interesting facts about the local economy/ town, and made our ride up to the thermal waters a ton of fun. Once there, Efrain had more history on the healing waters, showed us around and couldn’t have been more patient when we wanted to hang for a while. Highly recommend Eco Adventures, you can tell Efrain loves his work and the Puerto Escondido community, it shows in his passion for the outdoors! Can’t wait to visit again.

I had never tried horse trekking before and it was awesome. The entire tour is beautiful, the landscapes, the hot springs and the food.

Could not have imagined a more pleasant trip in a stunning environment. Warm and welcoming hosts that were generous and kind.

Took the tour to the thermal springs on horseback. The guide picked us up (me and my girlfriend) at the hotel at 8 o’clock. The guide was very friendly and chill. It was a 30 min drive to the little village where we got our horses. Before that we got to meet some locals and see their little farm. I had never ridden a horse before but it went really well, and the guides helped me out. Also the horse just went along with the others in a nice, steady pace. It took about 1 hour to get to the springs. We spent about 2 hours there, took a nice swim in the (very) hot water and ate a star fruit before heading back the same way. On the way back the horses were a bit more anxious and were galloping at some point. The guide then took us back, and also helped us out with some other stuff (booking a bus to Oaxaca, etc). Would recommend.

We took the horseback ride to the thermal pools on our honeymoon. My wife and I absolutely loved it. The scenery is absolutely stunning and the river crossings were epic. The guide is really friendly and knowledgeable. His English was also fantastic. We've done a lot of tours worldwide and this one is right up there with the best of them. Would recommend to anyone!

My family and me joint two tours with Eco adventures: bioluminescence swim and horse riding to hot springs. They are all gorgeous! We have a 11yr old boy who was scared of horse riding. But Jessie took a good care of him and we have so much fun at hot springs! Will come back later and joint Jessie’s tour again!

We took a horse ride to the thermal baths- highly recommended! Javier met us at our hotel and brought us to the spot. We also got to visit a local garden project growing local medicinal herbs and vegetables. It was incredible! Jaciel is truly pationatte about the region and about eco tours and was so helpful even beyond our really smooth transaction. I think he loves seeing how excited visitors are to experience this wonderful region and he brings that passion and all the practicalities and professionalism into making a great business. Definitely recommend.

This was an amazing trip that showed us a side of Oaxaca that we may have not seen. Lead by lovely, knowledgable people who are clearly proud of the area, it's one not to miss. Communication was easy and friendly, so even before the pick up we could tell this was going to be a relaxed trip. Many of the guides/hosts spoke very good English and explained what we were going to see during the day. Even though our guide leading us on the horses didn't speak much English (and my non-existent Spanish...) it didn't stop us communicating and learning about the landscape and animals as we passed. The hot springs are fascinating. It has been routed through a series of man-made pools (each one slightly cooler but all actually very hot!) but the surrounding environment has been kept natural and is well looked after by locals. On our return journey, we took up the offer to stop off at a newly established botanical garden of indigenous plants set up by 10 local women. We were given a comprehensive tour of the garden for 50 peso each. It took about 20 minutes and we were talked through the medical and culinary uses of all the plants and herbs, tasting and smelling many of them as we went. We also had lunch the included many of the plants we saw. It was very interesting and an incredible enterprise to support. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic day trip from Puerto Escondido. Jaciel, our guide, was a great host. He picked us up on time and we had a pleasant drive to the village where the tour takes off, about an hour outside of town. Having spent part of his childhood in the US, Jaciel speaks English well, and has an easy-going demeanor. He also grew up around horses, so he is comfortable and confident with them, which helps to put less experienced riders at ease. The ride out to the hot springs is picturesque and idyllic, crossing shallow creeks and through fields and dusty woods. The bathing pools are clean and well-maintained by locals. The spring water is very warm, so you can cool off in the stream nearby, where they've diverted some hot water and created a 50/50 natural pool that is very pleasant. All in all an unforgettable experience!

An amazing tour. I called Jaciel that morning and he picked us up from the hotel. A short drive to get the horses, who gave us a very easy ride up stream to the thermal baths and then back. The baths are very well kept by the locals and they maintain the natural almost wild appeal. The hot springs bubble from the hills. A must

Traveling with Kiko and Fidel was a truly delightful experience! The trip up to the hot springs passes through beautiful scenery, and the thermal waters are an absolutely amazing destination. I highly recommend visiting this beautiful place with this terrific guide.
