Had an amazing time learning to surf during my two lessons. Photos of my lesson were sent to me afterwards so I could keep those memories. My instructor taught me how to catch my own waves while also assisting me in catching a few. The owner of the company even gave me specific advice on how I could improve based on the photos that were taken! If you have the chance and want to give surfing a fair shot, I would even suggest to sign up for multiple days in a row.

We absolutely LOVED this experience ! We did the 2 hour beginner lesson and had so much fun. The instructor was brilliant and made us feel so safe he was very informative. Really well organised so easy and a quick start. Would recommend this to anyone.

The surf Sam was very good and funny. He taught us surfing very individual and adjusted the training to our personal skills. Even though it was my first time surfing I learned fast:)

We had a great time learning to surf as beginners. The two hours spent at Kuta beach with the two coaches was one of the best experiences myself and my two teenagers have experienced. The coaches are very polite and helpful and gave great trips on how to learn the basics of surfing. Would love to do this again and hopefully progress.

If you've ever thought about learning to surf, this is the perfect place to learn. Even if you're an absolute novice, you'll be standing up and riding waves in no time. The surf school is well organised. They have the right size boards and surf shirts for all sizes of riders, and they provide secure lockers for your valuables. The instructors are friendly, helpful and informative. They really make it fun. They send you a link for pre-reading, which is helpful, and take photo's of you while you to show you where you can improve. It's a great experience and sure to be a highlight of your Bali holiday.

The lesson was extremely helpful and the waves at the beach were perfect! Our teacher was very patient and made sure we all got up on the waves :)

Great experience and very reasonably priced! We had one instructor (Chip) between 3 of us initially. We were taught the basics of surfing and how to use the board on the beach before entering the water but this didn't take up much time. Another instructor came to help me 1-1 when in the sea which was great. Both were very helpful, encouraging and friendly! We chose to purchase our photos for a very reasonable price. They hadn't been sent by the following day but I contacted the surf school and they sent them all across immediately.

We booked for 7 people, the youngest being 13 and the oldest 47. Communication from Paul was excellent from the start. The pre read and information on the website was very professional and interesting. On the day it was one instructor to three learners which was perfect. The lesson price was very competitive and the shop had good showers and boards. The shop photos were really good not too expensive. The best thing were the instructors, so patient and friendly. Even first timers were up surfing. Overall a great experience.

Amazing staff, great English. Stuff was kept in a locker so very safe. Instructors are amazing and so is Paul. Shower included and also some amazing photos for an added 100,000 IDR. Will definitely be going back.

My second time surfing so took the beginners lesson2. Great waves for beginners and helpful instructors. Didn’t expect to catch waves so quickly!

l registered for four group lessons at UP2U Surf School as an absolute beginner in March 2023. I'm so glad now that I chose this school, even though I had to relocate to Kuta for a week. They are experienced and well-organized, and the instructors support each other's students when they can. The small classes are two or three students to an instructor, which is perfect. My instructor, Darwin, was super-positive, which you really, really need when you're learning. I recommend UP2U Surf School 100%.

This was our second lesson with this business. We absolutely loved the first session so decided to go again! This lesson we learnt a bit more and we’re way more confident! Recommend going more than once!

I had an excellent time taking surfing lessons here. I had taken lessons once before about a decade ago, but the service here was way better. My instructor, Prima, was awesome and just an unstoppable machine. For us true beginners he would position us then push our boards at the right time so we could focus on getting up and balancing, rather than having to worry about paddling and wave placement too. They also had a photographer taking pictures you could buy afterward. Highly recommend buying them as normal cell phone cameras from the beach won't get as good of detail. The attached photo is one of the pictures taken by their photographer. Absolutely wonderful time; I highly recommend Up2U Surf School.

Fantastic surf school! I had been surfing a couple of times before and it was the first time for my friend. We both felt very safe and the instructors were very patient and fun at the same time. Loved that there was a short break as well during the session to really get the most out of it! Highly recommend for anyone who wishes to take up some surfing lessons in Bali! We will be back!
