Amazing experience and definitely one of the best activities of our trip! The experience is very authentic and you also get a good chance to appreciate the beautiful landscape of the Andes mountains. The horses were calm and easy to ride even for someone with no experience. Our guide Pablo was extremely helpful as was our host Daniel. I would definetely it!

The authenticity of the experience, from driving through the mountains, arriving at the ranch, interacting with the gauchos and animals, was out of this world. The horses were well-trained, and our tour guide, Tim, was knowledgeable and always prioritized our safety. TheAsado was phenomenal. Ascending into the mountains was a heavenly feeling.

Really great service with pick up and return from our hotel. This is a family owned small real working ranch. The owner and his family care for and saddle every horse in preparation for the ride. The horses are well mannered and will follow the guide without problems. Don’t mistake this as a boring trail ride. We are experienced riders and the terrain would be extremely difficult even for experienced riders without well trained horses. The views are absolutely incredible and cannot be accurately captured in photos. This is a real adventure! The BBQ was the best meat we had during our 2 week trip to Argentina and it was cooked on the ground next to an open fire. Don’t be put off by the long drive of 1.5 hours outside the city. It is well worth the drive and very scenic along the way.

Incredible service and experience! They pick you up from hotel, drive you all the way to base of Andes, and give you breakfast, a horseback tour with incredible views, the best bbq cooked over fire in the mountains and then drive you all the way back to hotel. They are all super nice and went out of there way to accolade us. My wife is gluten free and we stopped at a grocery store to make sure we picked up necessary food. 100% would recommend!

The sunset horseback ride with Destino Montana was incredible. It was easy to coordinate, the staff were all friendly and Joaquin shared a lot of knowledge and laughs. I’ve only rode a horse once before and they made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend getting the bbq as well. It was simple ingredients of high quality so tasted amazing. The views were stunning, like nothing I’ve seen and very impressive since we started higher up in the Andes front range. Having a real gaucho on the ride made it extra special. Top travel experience!!!

We did the hike and BBQ lunch and had a wonderful time! Pablo was a great guide - could not have asked for anyone better. Pablo accommodated everyone’s needs and went out of his way to help my 72 year old mother. Would highly recommend.

Under clear skies, we enjoyed the best tour of our three-week Argentina trip. Even as a first-time horseback rider, I had no issues; the horses were well-trained. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, speaking fluent English. Daniel, living the genuine gaucho life, led us into the Andes and prepared an excellent lunch for us. Overall, it was an incredible and memorable day, highly recommend!

Highlight of our trip! The scenery, the horses, and the team are all wonderful: from confirming the arrangements via WhatsApp to dropping us off back at our accommodations, our guides were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. After arriving at the ranch, meeting the gaucho and animals, and a refresher on horseback riding (no experience needed), hours of incredible vistas in the mountains and an outdoor meal of probably the best bbq I have ever had. They even accommodated dietary restrictions. A perfect day and unique experience, recommended to anyone visiting the area. Thank you so much!

Once-in-a-lifetime experience - amazing views of the Andes, really nice horseback riding (we were complete beginners) and great company with Lorenzo, Don Daniel, and his animals! Would fully recommend!!!

My fiancé and I loved spending the day with Don Daniel. Our guide, Lorenzo, was very friendly. He shared so much about the country, the region and the gaucho lifestyle. The horses we had were very sweet. The horses definitely knew the terrain and we felt safe even going down steep hills! The scenery was breathtaking. We will treasure this day trip forever. We highly recommend it for those looking to do something that is out of the ordinary.

Start to finish this was an amazing experience that I am so excited that I got to share with my wife and parents. From the drive up past Lago Potrerillos with Lorenzo to the amazing hospitality of Don Daniel and his family. The day was start to finish amazing and by far our favorite activity in Argentina (above wine tasting, tango classes and 5 star restaurants) the views from the top of the ride, the conviviality of the asado and the experience of being on those amazing horses will stay with me for a long, long time.

I cannot recommend this trip highly enough. It was a really authentic experience and we loved every minute of it. Joaquín was our point of contact and he was very helpful. We were picked up from our hostel and brought to the mountains to meet Don Daniel and his family. We set off on horseback up the mountains with 3 others and 2 guides. The scenery will take your breath away and the guides are exceptional. For lunch we had a traditional asado and lots of wine and cheese with an amazing view. Lorenzo was our personal guide and he was so attentive and passionate. We didn’t have much experience with horses but never felt uncomfortable. We are nearly half way through our South American trip and this has been the absolute highlight. The memories will stay with us for the rest of our lives.

Tim was excellent! From the moment he picked us up to the end of the day, we had a great time. As experienced riders, we appreciated the attention to detail and the not-overbearing attitude. The food was incredible.

This was an incredible experience that I would absolutely recommend to anyone! It was very well organized and both Joaquin and Daniel (and his family) were so welcoming and helpful. The views on the ride were unbelievable and the asado was one of the best meals we had in Mendoza. It was a highlight of our time in Argentina and one of our favorite travel experiences ever!

We had a tour of our own, only with the guide Joaquín who picked us up at the hotel. We drove to a small ranch far up in the mountains where we met a local gaucho at his private house. The gaucho prepared the horses while we had some mate. The ranch is really simple, but a great experience to see the «real deal», and not just a tourist setup. After a few hours at the horse, we had asado (BBQ) with meat, wine and cheese. The nature is very nice and un-touched by humans. In all a highlight in my Argentina trip. Not a tour for an old grandmother, but that said this was my first time riding a horse.

This was an amazing, once in a lifetime experience. Joaquín was the perfect guide... he was so friendly, his English was great, and he was so knowledgeable about the area! I would recommend this experience to anyone!

We had a wonderful day horseback-riding in the Andes. Joaquin picked us up from our hotel in Chacras, and took good care of us the whole day, he was so friendly and nice to us. It was nice to see Daniel and his family´s farm with goats, chickens etc. The horses was very good. The horse-ride up in the mountains was lovely, with condors flying over us. Daniel made an asado, everything tasted delicious. This was one of the best experiences of our Argentinian journey.

We were really well taken care of by Vanina who also spoke English. She picked us up from our Air bnb and during the car ride we learned a lot about Argentinian culture because she was very open and enjoyed answering our questions. She brought nice snacks and showed us how to make Mate once we got to the beautiful little ranch. After that we did a 2h horse ride (half day ride) through the Andes and it was absolutely beautiful! We really enjoyed it and it was so worth doing the tour as a private tour cause it made it so nice and special. Highly recommend!
