I did this trip during my travel in Argentina and it was really amazing! To be honest: for me this was the highlight of my 3 weeks in Argentina. The host was very nice and it was a special experience in a beautiful area!

A memorable three-hour horseback ride into the Andes mountains, followed by a delicious BBQ dinner and wine. The horses are well trained and the gaucho horsemen have many years of experience. We left Mendoza at 3pm and returned at 11pm. We did the “high trail” and there were a few steep parts, but there are multiple guides to help you up and down. We had beginners and experienced riders, and both groups enjoyed!

The ranch is in the mountains and it takes a little while to get there. Ezechiel is a terrific host and explained what to expect and gave a mini class on horse riding. The horses walk in a line, it takes a while to get to and on top of an hill from where you have a beautiful view. The path is narrow and the horses know very well what to do, but in a couple of points it is not for the faint of hearth. All is concluded with a splendid asado, with plenty of succulent meats, sausages and vegetables. Vegetarian option available. The ranch is run by a couple, the horses live freely on the mountains. All in all is a beautiful experience

We got picked up by car, went straight towards a farm at the foot of the mountains. Jumped on horses and went up into the mountains with 2 tour guides. Went up though canyons and climbed on small paths with our horses. The sun set the same time we reached the top, breathtaking. Really challenging paths and until we reached the farm we road though in the darkness with the moon lighting our way. To finish of, we had a big Parilla/BBQ night with lots of wine and incredible food. The pictures speak for themselves, we had an amazing day and night. Thanks so much for this wonderful experience.

Absolutely great experience, beautiful vistas and an easy horseback ride up into the foothills. Followed by a fantastic Argentine roast and bottomless wine. It was a wonderful day, highly recommend!

I really recommend this tour. I managed to book a space on the tour for myself and a friend on the day. Stella got back to me straight away and provided lots of useful information prior to the tour. We got picked up by Ezequeal (who was very kind) and dropped us off at the ranch approx an hour drive from central Mendoza. We then had a briefing before we trekked through the mountains (3 hrs). There was a beautiful view at the top of the mountain and opportunity to take some photos. After the trek we had an amazing asado!! The food was excellent! Thanks so much to Stella, Ezequeal, Thomas, Facundo and all for an amazing experience!

What an incredible experience right from the start. It was a hot day and the drive from downtown Mendoza is about an hour and the tour guide, Ezequiel, stopped along the way to buy us all popsicles for the rest of the journey. When we got to the ranch he showed us the ropes and off we went into the hills to the most incredible views of our whole trip. When we got back the food and wine were waiting for us and everything was delicious. Easily the best experience of our entire trip.

This was a wonderful horseback riding experience on a family-run farm. We took the steep path and had a beautiful view from the top of the mountains. It got very dark on the ride back and when we arrived, the food was quickly served to finish off a great night!

Great day! Wonderful family who hosted the riding and dinner in their own place. A very authentic experience with lovely horses (I’m actually afraid of horses), and riding under the stars and fireflies.

We wanted to do something fun as a group in Mendoza and the team at El Relincho Cabalgatas did not disappoint. Cecilia welcomed us warmly to her ranch and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect experience. The guides were excellent and continuously looked after all the riders to make sure we were safe and having fun. The views from the top of the mountain were spectacular. We rode back to the ranch under the stars and enjoyed a traditional Argentinian asado. The food and wine were fantastic and everyone left the evening laughing. We would definitely recommend this experience.

The most authentic tour I have. After getting over the fact that our transportation to the puesto was an old, small truck—not an AC van or bus and on an old broken by rains but repaired road, we found ourselves surrounded with the best. The owner of the ranch and the horses was a kind, sweet woman who paired us up with our horses taking into account our experience or lack there of. She coordinated all details with her gaucho workers, adjusted the route for our level of expertise and off we went! The mountains were beautiful, the ride was quiet and the mountain air was perfect. We returned to the MOST delicious asado I have had in my four weeks in Argentina, and accompanied by veggies (which are rare in this country), and yummy potatoes. All cooked by the workers there and our driver, who was super kind, too! Don’t hesitate. Do it! It felt like family!

Amazing ride, beautiful scenery, sweet horses and nice company, followed by a delicious dinner. The team who welcomed us, assisted us and prepared our meal where all so kind and friendly. Was a lovely and heartwarming family environment - highly recommend.

I am a nervous beginner and team really looked after me and I had a great time thanks to there care and attention The family were very welcoming sharing there beautiful oasis in the mountains and there food was delicious Many many thanks again to Stella and her family

Family of 8 of varying riding experience had a blast. Horses were very well behaved and organized. We loved the vibe of everyone involved and Stella is the best. The dinner with our fellow riders was one of the most delicious we had in our 2 weeks.

This was a lovely experience and I would highly recommend! Nice horse ride, easy for novices and beginners! The staff (and horses) were spot on, great food at the end and plenty of wine.. 100% recommend. Cons- after speaking to others who were able to book the tour direct with the provider, using the Viator platform we paid 50% more per person than them. I am absolutely all for platforms providing the means to book these tours but I do feel that a 50% mark up on each tour is excessive and as you can imagine, leaves a sour taste in your mouth.

Absolutely incredible experience!! I never felt unsafe. Highlight of our visit to Mendoza. All the staff were so friendly yet professional. The meal provided was an outstanding end of the day. Great food, good drinks and of course great company!! As a retired older couple we will definitely do it again on our next visit to Mendoza.

Amazing ride. Hosts are so great, they made this experience beautiful for my entire family. They truly welcomed us to their home and showed us the mountains. I wish I could give more than five stars. Highly recommended.

A horseback ride through an Argentine desert into the foothills of the Andes was good fun, followed by an Argentine meat feast offering us more than we could eat was the perfect end to the day. The hosts were friendly and treated us well.
