The ride through the jungle was relaxing and fun. Fabian was our guide and did a 10/10 job! We loved the service work behind this business, as it’s all rescued animals. The cenote was fun to swim around in too.

Rancho Banaza is amazing. The staff gave us a lot of history about the rainforest and the trees. It was very peaceful and the trail is shaded so you're not under the sun the entire time which is so nice. Our guide Fabian was nice and spoke English and Spanish for our family. Our horses were all so gentle and sweet. Thank you to our horses Canela, macarena, chili, adventure, and Kite. We felt so safe the entire ride the cowboys were there to ensure our safety. Ranch banaza inside of the El Dorado Royale resort. You check in with the guard and let them know you're there for Bonanza. Thank you to all the cowboys that went with us on our ride. The cenote was so refreshing. My family enjoyed every minute.

My husband & I had celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary... It was a wonderful experience. The horses were so very well behaved... The tour guides were so good. It's a beautiful trail with just the right amount of time. I didn't feel rushed but relaxed and in the moment. Luis Orlando also did a wonderful job with pictures...We even purchased the entire picture package! Such an amazing unforgettable experience for our 30th wedding anniversary!! Highly recommend!!

This was an absolutely wonderful experience. Paula was awesome and the horses were absolutely beautiful. Orlando was the best paparazzi and don’t forget to take a dip in the Sonota.

The horses are well behaved and all except one was a rescue (she was birthed by one of the horses that was rescued pregnant). They have other rescue animals there as well. The tour guides/vaqueros are all polite and the horses are very well behaved, which is great for beginners (only a few of us had experience). We got to learn about Mayan folklore (like the Chechen and Chaca trees), the history of the animals that were there, and the ranch's motivations and purpose. The cenote at the end was cold, but refreshing and they provided some snacks and towels along with changing rooms next to the cenote. Everything was great UNTIL we were reviewing & purchasing our pictures on the way out. Some of them were disappointing and a lot was blocked by foliage, but when it came down to the price it was $20 for ONE picture or $100 for the whole batch of pictures. We asked to clarify, and he told us that was correct. They advertise $40 for pictures on Viator, so we felt we were being taken advantage of and being ripped off. We did not take many of our own because we were counting on paying $40 for photos per the website and just concentrated on the experience.

My wife and I were able to ride the rescue horses Tomatoe and Julio. Very pleasant ride through the jungle and spotted several animals including monkeys playing in the tree canopy. Highly recommend.

Fist off the staff and as incredible as well as my horse. Macarena was my horses name. The tour guide gave us a history lesson on each horse as well as the different things in the jungle we passed. We will definitely come back and do another tour!

When our boat trip got canceled due to high winds we had to pivot & found this option. We are so glad we did. It was a very enjoyable morning! The tour guide was so informative & a great experience for all. We saw monkeys! Had a great horse riding experience (4 of us & 4 “cowboys” with us) so felt very safe. And swimming in the cenote was great. There were lots of fun animals (all rescues) to see in the ranch as well. Highly recommend this tour!

We went as part of an excursion from Tui. Very nice atmosphere. The ranch staff gave us a fantastic history of the jungle whilst on the trail. It was clear the horses were very well cared for and living their best life. It was lovely to see animals well cared for. The cenote swim was magical. Would highly recommend. 10/10.

So fun! Everyone was so kind and funny and told many good stories, very helpful workers especially for new riders. They guided you along the way and made sure you felt comfortable the whole ride. You were educated along the path and then finished it all of with a beautiful swim in the cool refreshing Senote. Not only this but you got samples of fresh honey and gum made from sap. Overall, this experience was one of the best and my family and I had a blast and would totally recommend and come again!

My wife and I had a great experience at Bonanza Ranch. Our guide was Paula. My horse was Julio and he was a 26 year old former race horse. My wife’s horse was cinnamon. We ended up with a “private” tour because another couple didn’t show up for the tour. Paula and Dr. Horse (the head veterinarian) met us at the walking path to the ranch. Paula told us about the different animals in the jungle and the special trees along the path. At the ranch we got our riding helmet and met the “paparazzi” Orlando. Orlando took pictures with us and one of the donkeys. We then met our horses and given instruction on riding. Paula toured us through the jungle telling us about local history and facts. We saw dry cenotes and another jungle cenote before we got back to the ranch to swim at the cenote right beside the ranch. I would recommend good shoes and proper clothes for the horse ride. They have lockers to put your stuff in and there are bathrooms for you to change into your swim suit. They were building other facilities at the cenote when we were there. The cenote had some bigger fish like tilapia and some small fish. It was nice to be in the cool water after our ride. Our tour was during the heat of the day but wasn’t too hot. The cost of the pictures was extra and a bit on the expensive side. We didnt mind because the money would go to a good cause. This is a ranch for rescued horses and farm animals. The money from the tours and pictures helps provide for the animals.

Had a great time with our guide Fabian. Engaging tour that everyone in our family enjoyed. Great to support people who rescue and rehab these horses. The cenote swim was a perfect end. Great for all ages and levels of ability.
