What an amazing time! Alex and Manos were some of the friendliest people we have ever met and loved to share their knowledge of Santorini and Greece with us, including their own stories. They made us feel extremely comfortable on our tour (which ended up being private). You can tell they truly love their horses and what they do. I absolutely would recommend this to everyone!

The brothers who own the service are very personable and knowledgeable and care for the horses very well. My teenage daughter and I had just a little riding experience before and they were helpful for our level as well as for another guest who had been a competitive rider.

We had an INCREDIBLE experience!! Alex and Amani’s (our tour guides) were fantastic, this was my first time ever riding a horse and they made it so easy and made me feel so comfortable! I rode on Thor, and he was great, so funny. My fiancé rode on Zena, he also loved her. Such a great time!!

By far one of the most unforgettable experiences here in Greece. It’s been a dream of mine to ride horses on the black sands of Santorini—especially for me being a horse girl! Alex was fantastic! Bravo!

Mano and Alex were two if the kindest people we met while in Santorini. They made this experience worth every penny. They were so kind, attentive, and they love their horses so much! Cannot recommend this place enough!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our ride. Manos and Alex were great guides and helpful handlers. They made an effort to learn our names and constantly check in about how we were doing, if we were comfortable, and if we needed anything. Another couple with us had very limited experience on horses, so they took extra care and even had one woman’s horse tethered to Alex’s, since she appeared nervous. They did anything and everything to put us at ease. They also took time to share a little bit about the surrounding area as we rode. We learned about some of what was growing in the surrounding land—pumpkins, fennel, etc. and some of the island sights were pointed out as we rode. There was a place on the beach for us to stop and take pictures and both guides used our phones to capture some really great shots of us. At that time, too, Manos was giving lots of affection to the horses. You could see that they really love them. As a slightly more experienced rider, I rode April, one of their “babies.” She was only two and a little afraid of the water. Though hesitant at one point or another, her being afraid was just stopping and standing-no side passing or jumping or anything remotely like that! A quick kick of encouragement and she kept moving, They were all such sweet, docile, and beautiful animals. Thank you!

Great beach views on horses. The sand colors were amazing and the guide made you deel very conftarble.

Omg!!! I don’t know where to begin! This was an absolute treat! From our awesome guide ALEX (he’s handsome too by the way), and our horses Romeo and Juliet, everything about this excursion was amazing. The black beach and its rich history, the wind blowing through our hair, it was so peaceful and calming. Thank you to Alex for teaching up the ropes, literally and for capturing so many beautiful pics and videos. We love you and can’t wait to come back and do it again!

Didn’t feel safe. Horses are super skinny and have exposed wounds which were actively bleeding and some had milky eyes. I looked too big for my horse. The overall environment is dirty and laced with litter. On arrival at the venue we observed young men riding with a second horse in tow down the main road centimetres away from speeding cars, which looked terrified. I would seriously question the health and safety of these horses and will never entertain riding again in a foreign country.

My wife was able to check off a bucket list item of riding horses on the beach! Our host, Alex, was extremely friendly and welcoming! His passion and love for his horses is obvious. We would highly recommend this activity on Santorini!

We loved this adventure. Being a horse owner, the best part for me was seeing how much the owner loved his horses and cared for their wellbeing. Of course the ride was fabulous and the horses amazing. We were introduced to the other horses and learned a little about each one and the owner as well. I'm sorry I can't remember his name. He was so kind and seemed to love what he does and his animals. I highly recommend this ride to the black sandy beach!

This was a nice experience, especially to get away from the hustle and bustle of the typically touristy scene in Santorini. Alex was super kind and encouraging while giving us a lesson on rising his horses. Romeo and Juliet (the horse) took good care of us as well! Also, the black sand beach was amazing!!!! Well worth it!

The horses are really well cared for!! Alex was a great tour guide and extremely patient with us. He is quite funny as well and took the best pictures. Highly recommend this excursion. Sunset was fantastic!!

We were in Santorini for our honeymoon and this was easily one of the best experiences of our trip. This was a very private horseback ride (my wife and I and only one other couple), but each couple had their own guide on their own horse, who would check in with us, take photos (and he took a ton, with my wife's phone because her camera is better). It was awesome. Beautiful sunset, well-behaved horses (Romeo and Juliet), and a gentle and pleasant ride. Muriel (one of the guides) and the gentleman (I can't remember his name! he was great) were wonderful and helpful guides. So kind and patient, my wife loved the photos, and of course they were pros with the managing the horses. You may have to secure an Uber or a ride down to the stables (unless you've rented a car), but this was just an awesome experience. Highly recommend!

We had a blast on our ride to the black sandy Beach. Our guide Alex was wonderful, helpful, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to be around. The horses were perfect angels and looked fat and very well fed which was the best part! Thank you to Alex and our other guide for a great time.

We are on our honeymoon. The views were amazing! The ride was super fun and safe. I am an experience rider but my husband has only been on a horse once. Love the horses and the people who run the place!
