We enjoyed wine and beer while learning techniques to make pizza three ways at home. Very informative, and got to eat all of our creations! Luigi was very helpful, great English, and took the time to ensure all our questions were answered.

Luigi made this a very personal cooking experience. The other couples all cancelled and we had a private class. He answered questions of interest. We had great sharing conversion and instruction on sauce. Vegetables and ham and cheese. His English was perfect for my poor Italian

Great class with lots of tips to enable you to make pizza easily at home. The calzone was also very tasty! Good for kids (mine is 8)— they’ll learn what they need to make dinner for the family (no joke!)

We made two pizzas in a way I never thought before; it was a really nice atmosphere as we were only 4 people, and chef Luigi explained very well how to do the pizzas! Loved it!

We had an awesome time at this class. Everyone at the academy is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed learning pizza techniques - you make a lot of food so definitely come hungry! A great way to spend time if you visit Naples.

We reviewed lots of pizza making places and found this absolute gem! It is easy to find and relatively central to Naples. Greeted and introduced to the history of pizza by Alberto, it was fun and interesting. Then we went into the class with Luigi. Really good class where Luigi had lots of enthusiasm and love for all things Italian! He showed us how to make 3 different kinds of pizza, all of which we could do at home, no pizza oven needed! All members of the class had an individual cooking station and it taught you authentic Italian cooking. Really enjoyed it and we were absolutely stuffed - so much food!! And you can buy some lovely accompanying wine at very good price!! Definitely recommend to any tourist. Thankyou ☺️

This was a top 5 moment of my Italy trip. I would highly recommend. Everyone is very welcoming and helpful. We learned to make 3 different pizzas with chef Luigi and learned lots of interesting facts about the history of Napoli pizza aswell. It gets you out of the sun for 2 hours and is very simple to follow, and the best thing is you get to eat delicious hot pizza.

Lovely welcoming team, we left very full with lots of ideas to try at home! They taught how to cook the pizza without a pizza oven which was an added bonus of being able to replicate the results!

A real highlight to our trip to Italy, our pizza class at Toffini Academy will be a wonderful memory, that we will share with others when preparing our pizzas at home with the Naple's delicious crust with crunch and softness! Welcomed by owner Alberto, you receive a history of Naples' love of food. Each student has their own impeccably appointed cooking station, for a totally hands on experience. Chef Luigi's enthusiasm for fresh, simple ingredients and helpful instruction for each step will have you confidant to make a variety of pizzas and calzones for your family and friends in your own home. Every bite delicious and every minute fun! Highly recommended.

We did a pizza making course and found it highly enjoyable. The chef and hosts Luigi and Alberto were very helpful before, during and after. With their help we easily made two very delicious pizzas. Great history lesson to go with it too. Finally a very fair price - well worth having a go!

We arrived a bit early due to a happy mistake -- and so we received a more personalized experience than we would have otherwise. Alberto took us under his wing and took the time to share with us the history of this culinary tradition we call "pizza". Of course, there is nothing like a hands-on experience, and this is what you will get at Toffini. We made two types of pizza: A stove-top version and pizza fritta (what we knew as "calzone"). Bring an open mind and an empty stomach, since you will be eating a lot of pizza! My only regret is that now I cannot go back to eating delivery pizzas now.... Next time we are in Naples, we will be sure to check out some of the other classes.

The lesson was very fun and useful. I had made some pizza before and I think they gave me some useful advice to improve it. The place is very clean and staff very friendly. They provide you with tools and ingredients to cook by yourself. Before cooking they tell you about the history of pizza. Note that, since the lesson lasts for a couple of hours, which are not enough to make your dough properly leaven, you do have the chance to try to make your own dough (which you can bring at home with you), but then you finalize your pizza with another dough already leavened. At the end you can eat what you have just cooked! Not just normal pizza but also pizza fritta (fried pizza)! Yummy!

Whats the point of leaning how to make a pizza in a wood-burning oven when you don’t have one at home? This class shows you how to do it without one. Perfect! After a warm welcome and a refreshing soft drink we made one pizza margarita, ate it and then made a pizza fritta with ricotta and salami each and ate that. We finished up with an espresso. The cook/instructor Luigi was very friendly and so were all the other people involved. Everybody seemed to have a great time, including our 7 year old son. The premises are really nicely equipped, it is a professional cooking school, so it is all very well organised. Great layout allowing enough space for everyone - clean work top to work on, a fresh set of tools and a stove for each participant. The class is advertised on Trip Advisor as starting at 11:30, but now starts at 12:00, it would be great to update this. Otherwise, everything else was brilliant. Thank you for a great experience!

My family of 5 and I loved the class. We made pizza and a calzone. The Chef and staff were great and very friendly. My 10, 13, and 15 year olds really enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

The team at Toffini provided an excellent demonstration of taking simple quality ingredients to make the best pizzas! We had everything provided for us and clearly explained what we needed to do. Alberto was very friendly and gave us some wonderful information on the origin of pizza and its evolution in Naples. Luigi gave us great instruction and helped us make the prefect pizzas. This is a must do if you are a foodie!!

I have nothing but good things to say about the pizza cooking class with Toffini Academy! It exceeded the expectations (and wishes) of my wife and I. First off, Toffini Academy is an offshoot of the Toffini kitchen store that designs beautiful kitchens, so you know kitchens and cooking are their primary focus. The kitchen for the cooking class was no different -- spacious and laid out well, with clean counters to work on, a fresh set of tools and a stove-top for each participant. Second, the instructors were fabulous. We were greeted with soft drinks, warm smiles and genuine interest in us (where we're from, etc). Instructors were fun, funny, engaging, and know how to interact with each student individually. Their instructions were clear, and they waited for each student to be on the same page (helping along the way). They also gave the history of each type of pizza, which was very cool to know. We enjoyed a (whole) bottle of wine while cooking and eating, and eat eat eat we did! Way more food than myself or my wife could eat, and we took home the rest. As an icing to the cake, after the class we enjoyed espresso with Alberto at a local cafe. The coffee machine at Toffini was on the fritz, so Alberto escorted us down the road to his friend's cafe. Along the walk he pointed out other areas of interest in the Chiaia area. A simple gesture, but it extended the graciousness and friendliness shown during the class and made this an even more memorable experience. Thank you!!

My daughter and I took this pizza class from Luigi and Alberto. The cooking area was spotless, efficient and organized. The instructions were clear and they watched over us and provided personal attention when needed. We made a pizza margherita, fried pizza and calzone which were all delicious. It was a relaxed and fun atmosphere to spend a few hours in Naples. Can't wait to try the pizza techniques at home!
